Dear Chris, Please see below. -----Original Message----- Yes, this is considered sha ch'i . You can either:- a. Use a curtain or a window blind. For the curtain, it should `block' the sight of the sha ch'i. b. If the sha ch'i is close by, u can place a Pakua (in the mid-point below the window). This is the last resort. The true test whether it is Sha ch'i is to sit on your bed and look at the makeup desk. Do you see the mirror? If no, then it is not considered sha ch'i. Mirrors should not face the bed. How was the `Chai wei' determined? Using which theory? Normally, if it is in the living room, you can place it diagonal to the actual "chai wei" location. …

Morning master. Is such design advisable to use? Comments: This is based on common sense. In the unlikely event that the doors dropped off or one accidentally store something heavy over-head. Another consideration is under symbolism, it is not ideal to sleep under the cabinet.

Dear All, 1. Recently, I have encountered cases perhaps one may all it a coincidence, of bad luck especially moving into the house during the 7th month. 2. These new clients faced difficulties pr bad luck during this period. 3. For the Chinese, if you had encountered such situations, make sure that you may have to burn incense and `gold paper' and offer fruits before the 7th month ends. 4. Usually, during the 7th month, offerings such as mentioned above are offered on the 1st day of the 7th lunar month, the 15th day and the last day of the lunar month. But for those who have a spate of bad luck, should make an offering now and on the last day of the lunar month i.e. whic…

1. This has more to do with pure common sense 2. Here, how many of us during our childhood have open bookshelves just in-front of our study table? 3. This is to allow us to place our current semester books and reference materials like a dictionary and even some decorative items to brighten the work-area. 4. Contrast this with closed bookshelves. If so, whenever we need to access some of our "tools", we have to either open the doors or slide them which may be inconvenient as we may have to move something else to access them. 5. Thus, it is perfectly fine or OK to have open bookshelves at our work-interface = good ergonomics. 6. Therefore don't be too fearful of someone el…

Dear All, 1. I have often been asked the question: My new home/apartment was built on land that was used to be a burial site. Is this inauspicious? In my opinion, I would say " It depends ". Here are some of my thoughts on this: a. If you are staying in Singapore; in the past, many of the sites chosen for burial of loved ones are the choicest sites in Singapore! Here, there is an inherent belief that when one bury's one's ancestors in good sites; it will bring forth goodluck to the decendants of the dead. b. If you are staying in any other country which has Chinese cemeteries, most likely it has been feng shuied many (many years) back and these sites should be excellent…

Modern Myth: Should I rush to the bank on Li Chun - 3 February 2017 to deposit money? I was wondering .. I could not recall why my grandparents or my parents never does this annual ritual... hmmm.. Should I cave-in and do so from now onwards? Since this is the first day of spring or Li Chun... In the past Li Chun starts the first day of planting season ... important in an agricultural society... perhaps more meaningful then. But today, in a carnivorous society... the ones that temporarily benefit from this are the banks and the advertisers of this scheme fuelled by the gullible media.. something to write about... Today, …

Dear Eve, Please read below:- This is Yes, in the past, many Feng Shui Masters use elements found in the name to help suppliment the lack of an element in the birth chart. This is considered the immediate cure for a new born baby to change his or her luck. As you know a person's name is most often used so it does have some impact on the person. Generally, from a name, it does provides certain characteristics and is pretty related to Feng Shui's Pillars of Destiny. Just like when my nephew was born end last year, I choose a name using this art to compliment his existing birth elements (from the Pillars of Destiny), especially areas which he lacks. And true enough,…

Source: www.scmp.com Incense fumes could do more harm to your health than tobacco smoke It's one of the familiar smells of Asia, from the temple to the family altar, but the next time you are surrounded by a cloud of incense smoke you may want to hold your nose. Research in Taiwan has lent credence to suspicions that the joss sticks and incense that are burned as offerings to the gods may get you to heaven far quicker than you'd like. Medical professionals have long suspected that joss sticks and incense - usually containing a blend of plant extracts and oils - emit harmful fumes when burned. Now, researchers from Taiwan's National Cheng Kung University in Tainan say jo…

You can always say add some screen or divider to block the direct sha. Are you the breadwinner of the house? The Internet is a large global community. Like any community it is governed by certain rules of behaviour. Proper behaviour on the Web is known as Netiquette - short for net etiquette. Netiquette also covers rules to maintain civility in discussions. In most cases, netiquette is enforced by fellow Netizens who will `make noise' if you do not follow proper netiquette. 1. Include a subject line A descriptive phrase in the subject line of the message header helps everyone know at a glance what the message is about. For example do not use " Water fountain ". But instead, use a phrase: Like to know where to place a water fountain. 2. Respect others' privacy Do not quote or or …

Dear All, Another authentic cure is the following:- 6-coins in a Jar of salt water ============================== Step 1:- ====== Find a glass jar, approximately 3 inches or more inches in diameter. Enough to hold 6 metal coins. Step 2:- ======= Pour ordinary tap water into the jar until approximately three-quarters full. Step 3:- ====== Stir the salt solution until it is fully dissolved. Step 4:- ======= Place 6 metal coins (i-ching type with square holes at the centre) into an ordinary glass jar. Step 5:- ======= (THIS IS OPTIONAL) Add some gold flakes into this jar. If the gold flake is a piece of flake, cut it into small sizes or simply place this small piece of flak…

Slate is a natural stone and formed in layers. In opinion is not strong enough to take on the load of ordinary vehicles. This owner replaced the broken slate tiles recently. And again, has to replace them. The most common materials used on driveways are homogeneous tiles or concrete slabs.

These are some considerations:- 1. A house or two houses at a T-junction e.g. House marked as "X" and "Y" is within the range of a T-junction. 2. In this example, it is based on simply Common sense. Thus simply it is called Common sense Feng Shui. 2.1. Thus even without the term Feng Shui, it can easily be explained thru common sense. 3. The key lies with this sentence: " A moving vehicle going in a straight-line especially if there is a mechanical failure e.g. brakes locked up or the driver's feet got jammed on the fuel paddle etc.. or even a drunkard ... cannot stop the vehicle". 4. Thus if a vehicle ploughs straight into a home; the most likely senario is that of Sena…

1. Stove can share the same wall as the Butler Pantry. But in the original proposal, part of one of the fridge shares the same wall as the stove. If you see the drawing that I had sent you, I had thus shifted BOTH fridges to the corner, 2. Bedroom door not perfect but acceptable. Just avoid the bedroom door as shown below. So long as the door is as per your original diagram works. 3. So long as the WC is not facing the toilet, door, yes, not perfect but the toilet door facing a bed is acceptable:-

Office Warming (like Home warming) is considered an essential part in bringing good Qi and luck for the occupants in the new premises. Another major consideration (or superstition) is to `ward' off evil spirits. 1. First, an auspicious day and time is chosen for the move. If one does not consult a FS practitioner, than a good date is usually the 15th day of each lunar month. up. (Full moon). 2. On that day, all windows, openings, grilles or opening in the walls and if there is skylight into the building, it has to be be covered up e.g. with black paper. The duration of this `black-out' is for an hour before the Office Warming Starts. 3. Make sure that all electrical light…

Happy New Year master. Ask a general question: old flats nowadays their exterior building looks old, never paint, etc... is this bad fengshui compared to brand new flats? I recall that in 1990s, every 5years Town Council paint the outside building. Since 2005 and after 15years i dun see painters come anymore.. Feng Shui is just 33.33%of the total luck. The others are Heaven Luck (individual ba zi) and Man or Human luck. Each also accounts for 33.33% each. Even if Feng Shui may not be affected… but Human or man luck is equally important. As isn’t it great to feel good and equally proud to live in a clean, bright (exterior) home vs a sloppy Aged looking bui…
