Under symbolism in Feng Shui, blue roof tiles represents water over the ceiling of the entire house. Under I-Ching, water represents difficulty. If my home's roof is already blue what should I do? The exterior wall should be painted white vs cream colour. And if the roof is grey, it is also best to paint the exterior of the home white not cream or other colour.

1. Feng Shui is natural and influenced by qi from the earth (magnetism). 2. However, if one of these two things come into being:- 2.1. For some, when you enter a home and suddenly feel a sudden cold (mostly in dim areas) e.g. closet or attic area. 2.2. When one carry a compass and the compass needle goes hay-wire; 3. When a home has been possed; you can count out Feng Shui as such influences will superseed the Feng Shui of a place. Thus, under such circumstances, it is best to call for help from another field: especially priests. 4. The idea here is that Feng Shui can be over-ridden by other "stronger" forces beyond the natural! 5. For us Geomancer, usually once th…

For the Chinese, for physical burial, it does matter greatly what plot of land, facing direction of the grave. As it is said that a burial site can affect the decendants of the dead. However, in the event of a cremation: "ashes to ashes, dust to dust" it does not matter whether:- 1. scatter the ashes in the sea? No issue 2. Does it matter which direction, the niche for the urn should face? No issue 3. Does it matter whicl level or is it inauspicious to have the urn stacked above another urn or have another urn stacked ontop of the urn? Really, it does not matter, here.

Last weekend, while doing my rounds of Feng Shui audit at landed properties.. I walked past these two homes. What's wrong? with these two homes? Hmmm.... It reminded me of a client that was doing a full complete restoration or Additions and Alteration works! And the "silly" architect... recommended paving the entire home's car drive way with slate! Goodness me! Any person with commonsence or rather "cow-sense" would know that slate although a very beautiful material is not one of the toughest material to withstand the daily punishing of road tires "breaking up it's weak layers" and not withstanding the constant hot water and sun light that can quickly crack the slat…

1. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing? or rather someone who takes on a title and then with their limited knowledge provides "ill advised information". 2. As I recalled; as I am very family in this industry called : Fwang Shway or Fung Shui or Feng Shui. 3. In the 1980's the trend was to pick up a dozen Feng Shui books: 1001 tips on Feng Shui and many happily go about this "new hobby" of theirs; 4. In the 1990's the "sharks" emerged as they found that they can make supernormal profits out ofobjects which they name them " In the name of Feng Shui...." 5. This trend continues till today. During this period: "Instead of fixing the leaks; many go to stock up th…

This is an interesting useful case study. (No names mentioned.) CASE STUDY: In essence, the question is about "Can I manipulate the Flying Star Chart of this home for the best facing direction of the main door?" Thus: What is the purpose of the 15 directions if it so easily be manipulated much like "window dressing" to make ourselves feel good but in reality.. it is not so? QUESTION: I would like to have further clarifications before generating the flying star house report for this person. In fact, both East and North facing direction of the main door of the house that this person stay in, happen to fall under the 4 bad directions according to the person's bazi a…

1. In my many encounters with various clients: parents with young children and parents with teenagers:- 1.1. In this attachment; see how teenagers and young children view their world especially that of their home. 1.2. For example; young children are very innocent and think differently from us adults and teenagers. In this attachment; there are quite alot of children be it timid or love their parents madly (who does not!): If they were given their say; some would position their bed-heads close to the bedroom door: so that they can be 'as close" to their parents as possible. 1.3. If can no longer sleep with you; they want to phsycially sleep with their heads and eye…

1. In all rooms (including bedrooms) if we do not turn on the fan or air-con to circulate air; then it is best not to place a bed-head between the corner of the bedroom. 2. Here, if there is not much air-circulation; this is the dead qi area.

Ba zi has indications of how competitive a person is. What is competitor under the Ten Deities of the Ba zi? The higher this number; implies that the person is highly competitive in nature. For example, a high score of 5 means that this person always try not to lose out to others. And would like to be either 1 or 2 or 3 place or ranking.

1. In an off-site Feng Shui audit; where the block of flat is elongated or may have several stacks that face different directions; 2. With the help or assistance of the owner (or to be new owner); be it a new or resale flat; identify which is the correct orientation of the layout plan to the siteplan. 3. In this example, the attached illustration was prepared. And the owner is asked to check which orientation is correct. And if possible, he/she could outline the unit onto the siteplan. (Not a must do, thou).

1. This reference chart proves to be a valuable tool in distinguishing the colors associated with each of the Five elements. 2. Additional factors must be taken into account: A. YELLOW COLOUR 2.1. Yellow can be classified as either the Metal (Gold) or Earth element at times. 2.2. The Earth element is mainly linked with the color yellow. Pay attention to the texture of the material. For instance, if the finish is matte, especially in curtains, then it can be categorized as yellow. 2.3. Nevertheless, if the material is shiny or contains "shiny" gold or gold-like threads, then it may be associated with the Metal (Gold) element instea…

1. Please see attached, photo. 2. Markings in RED: A, B, C, D may be considered as a Sha Qi (poison arrows). 3. When we look at the "item"; it should seem "threating". Especially distinctive TRIANGULAR or pointed "items". 4. However, Marking in BLUE E; could be considered a poison arrow. As this photo was taken from the side; it is harder to recognise this poison arrow. Thus, we say that; it should be further investigated upon. 5. And oh! if it any of the poison arrow(s) are not aimed towards the opposite home's main entrance; an opening such as a window; then it is most probably not a direct threat.

In this photo; this tree is relatively young. Only the uncovered area where the tree trunk can be seen could be a potential poison arrow; especially if it were to be facing an open window or main entrance door.

These are some considerations: 1. Take a look at the attached photo. Although this photo is from a shop-store located in a shopping complex. 2. From the photo; one can obviously see lots of items and even fallen pieces of paper all over the place. 3. Thus, based on "commonsense" think hard before one replaces a kitchen wall or even a study room wall with glass. 3.1. By installing glass panels; one has to make sure that the specific room or kitchen has to be extremely, extremely tidy! 3.2. Furthermore; if lots of glass is used; the joints need to be considered. In this sample shop-store; the joints of the glass seems to "slice" thru the counter girl's "image". This is no…

These are some considerations: 1. The photos show "POTENTIAL" sha qi's especially if it is close-by to an apartment - window. 2. Most importantly, one has to be inside an apartment (flat) or unit e.g. on a 2nd storey unit to see if any of the fins of the roof slices into the unit. Or whether does it aim towards the unit (openings). 3. Thus potential means; it is not "there yet" but just maybe.

1. I have always trained my mind to ask this question: "Has common sense to do with this question?" 2. In my opinion, you would be pleasantly surprised to learn that many seemingly Feng Shui or even Grand Mother's tales are rooted in pure common sense! 3. Currently, it is even an uphill task for me to try to collate many so called Feng Shui or Feng Shui related questions into one link. 4. Where it is pure common sense that leads to some thinking that it is some higher form such as a Feng Shui concept or theory! 5. The next time, you try to have a paradiym shift by asking the question: "It is just pure common sense?" You will be pleasantly surprised, when you figure out pu…
