  3. Without Prejudice: The Lanai at Hillview Avenue and termite infestation. It just T.O.P. Not too long ago in 2015. (A mere three year old development). Thus unfortunately, such a situation would affect the resale vale. Unless the new potential buyers are unsuspecting of it. The suspect has to do with the drainage or water retention of this development that is on the foot of the Hillview avenue hill:- Once termites appear, it is much harder to repel especially if the design …

  6. Modern Myth: Should I rush to the bank on Li Chun - 3 February 2017 to deposit money? I was wondering .. I could not recall why my grandparents or my parents never does this annual ritual... hmmm.. Should I cave-in and do so from now onwards? Since this is the first day of spring or Li Chun... In the past Li Chun starts the first day of planting season ... important in an agricultural society... perhaps more meaningful then. But today, in a carnivorous society... the ones that temporarily benefit from this are the banks and the advertisers of this scheme fuelled by the gullible media.. something to write about... Today, …

  11. HDB Punggol Edge & dim main door entrance area 1. Nowadays with better cameras on phones; the corridor photos does not actually reflect the true "darkness" at these corridors leading towards each unit's entrance. 2. Even with the lights turned on at the corridor; one can still see a hint of darkness outside the main door entrances of these flats. 3. In such a situation and also with such a narrow; the main door should not be considered as the frontage. The development:- http://www.geomancy.net/forums/topic/14931-feng-shui-of-hdb-punggol-edge/#comment-32191

  15. Should I get a small, medium or large flower pot? Frankly, this has more to do with common sense:- 1. For example, if one lives in a high rise apartment. And if there is no balcony grille. And if there are young children.. then best to avoid getting a medium or large flower pot. 1.1. Else these flower pots become a stepping stone to climb over say.. the railing(s). 2. 18. Hello master, Is a pot filler such as the one in the attached photo where it is right on top of the stove bad Feng shui? If so, if we just not use it, would that be a remedy or still better not to have it at all? Thanks! Reply: Dear xxxx, Thanks for the photo. These are some considerations: 1. Make sure that the inlet pipe for this pot filler is not anywhere near the surface or at least 6 or more inches from the stove. 2. Under Symbolism in Feng Shui, here the water (as in water pipe) and fire (stove clash). 2.1. Actually, this has more to do with common sense. 23. Angular shapes often may look sharp or pointed. And may cause or create a Sha Qi or Poison arrow(s) For example, one look and one can visualise the sharp point at the bottom of this classic light:- The light looks like if it is hung in the middle of a balcony.. seems like a poison arrow or Sha Qi. However, although these lights are not rounded and may have sharp curves; it does not look anything like the above sharp point: Thus may seem pointy.. but looks more like a pussy cat when compared to the first illustration. Of course these rounded "bird cage" style lights are the safest .. to please the ultra-conservatives.

  25. Layout planning of landed properties & common sense: Before signing off the approved plans; always super-impose the layout out plans: 1. Super-impose the 2nd storey layout plan onto the ground floor plan. And check that the 2nd storey toilet(s) are not directly above the ground floor main entrance door. Make sure that the toilet(s) are also not directly above the stove, a guest bed on the ground floor or above an altar. 2. For the 2nd storey, just make sure that the stove is not directly above one's bed which may be directly above the kitchen.
