Dear Users, Before I elaborate on the Feng Shui Trap, it is very common for many of us to fall prey to purchasing a fountain, wind chimes etc.. in the hope that we can become `wealthy'. It is often elaborated that one does not really need to spent money under Feng Shui. What I mean is that, rather than hoping for auspiciousness to come to us by purchasing fountains etc... but should we not try to (in the first) place, if we can neutralise bad influences. If we do not do so, no matter how much we buy to ehance ourselves, we will ultimately like many people have found out fall into the Feng Shui `trap'. Hope that you can ponder over what I have said. This has been elaborate…

Dear Users, Some users are `confused' because they read somewhere that instead of using Red string with 6 coins, the recommendation was to use 6 coins with e.g. salt water. What is the rationale of using Red string with 6 coins and not 6 coins with water:- Metal in Water, will result in Metal being absorbed to create water, ending up losing the Metal as a controlling element. And the strengthened Water is not really going to be effective in controlling by controlling Fire, because the Strong Earth #2 & #5 is not at all being controlled. Red String helps to control 6 coins, because 6 is already strong plus being metal themselves, so need a little control, it will not a…

The Internet is a large global community. Like any community it is governed by certain rules of behaviour. Proper behaviour on the Web is known as Netiquette - short for net etiquette. Netiquette also covers rules to maintain civility in discussions. In most cases, netiquette is enforced by fellow Netizens who will `make noise' if you do not follow proper netiquette. 1. Include a subject line A descriptive phrase in the subject line of the message header helps everyone know at a glance what the message is about. For example do not use " Water fountain ". But instead, use a phrase: Like to know where to place a water fountain. 2. Respect others' privacy Do not quote or or …

You have heard the most recent term Kindergarten Feng Shui, another interesting description is called Credit Card Feng Shui. I refer to this interesting term as " Purchasing " on credit. In Feng Shui instead, it is like wanting to get auspiciousness or good luck on CREDIT. Does this sound familiar? Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. You should have some idea of the Five Elements. If not, please refer to: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/5element.htm 2. Some Feng Shui practitioners have argued that electricity belongs to the Fire element. While some disagree and mentioned that it is of the Metal element. Others suggest that it is the Water element. 3. As this is a controversial topic, there are really no right or wrong answers. It is up to how one explains for themselves. You have to look at each `link' and analyse them separately. For example, the wire that carry the electricty. The electric appliance. For example, if it is an electric stove, fire heat is generated. If it is a microwave oven, perhaps i…

Sometime back, Robert shared with me this observation: It is not advisable to read a book page by page and act on the words as you read each chapter of the book. What happens if the author writes a book with Chapters 1, 2 and 3 saying about a certain theory. If one hastily applies each of the concepts in chapter 1, 2 and 3 (assumming he is the type who reads from chapter 1, 2, 3 in an orderly fashion). What he did not realise is that the author in his final chapter says " Chapter 1, 2 and 3 are available concepts but inauspicious to apply. Oops!! However, he finds them not suitable and in his last chapter gives the reason and the method he feels that is correct. Erh... i…

In basic management books, you get to hear this statement: Management by Exception: Managers only act on exceptions and solve these problems. And reserve their efforts doing fruitful things. Feng Shui by Exception? If it ain't broken, don't Fix it. If you have the time, ponder over this statement. Warmest Regards, Cecil P.S. In my opinion, for English readers, if you have read Derek Walter's books, he teaches techniques or provide an understanding of a concept. Such books do not advise anyone to use something in the hope that you become `prosperous'. My stand is also the same. So, have you read books that rather ask you to do this or that?
