Dear Chris, Please see below. -----Original Message----- Yes, this is considered sha ch'i . You can either:- a. Use a curtain or a window blind. For the curtain, it should `block' the sight of the sha ch'i. b. If the sha ch'i is close by, u can place a Pakua (in the mid-point below the window). This is the last resort. The true test whether it is Sha ch'i is to sit on your bed and look at the makeup desk. Do you see the mirror? If no, then it is not considered sha ch'i. Mirrors should not face the bed. How was the `Chai wei' determined? Using which theory? Normally, if it is in the living room, you can place it diagonal to the actual "chai wei" location. …

  3. Dear Chris, To clarify, what rooms are these? Are these 2 rooms the bedrooms? The only other way at present is to close the door when not in use. Yes, if the main door is facing a road lamp, it is best to place a Pakua above the main entrance door. The following are other alternatives:- 1. Placing a semi circle carpet outside the door. Best to have a diagram of a sun's rays or spokes radiating from the centre of the carpet. 2. If your friend's house is a private apartment, one can replace the door with a convex door. A convex door is to dispell sha ch'i. 3. If there are steps leading to the home, one can use semi-circle steps. 4. Tilt the main entrance door to a …

Dear John, The best cure for your situation is to keep your house `bright'. This is to encourage more Yang energy to flow into the house. Some of the `remedies' you can do:- 1. Depending on the direction of the wall facing the neighbours house, e.g. if it is a East wall, you could paint the wall neutral white (bright) or green. If the wall is facing South, then pink wall. Of course, white is still an acceptable neutral colour. 2. The fence between your house: make sure that it is in good condition and have plants growing on the fence. 3. Have a well trimmed garden e.g. trim the grass on your compound 4. If you can afford, have a spot light turned on at night on the side f…

  7. Do you know that a Chinese Loupan (Chinese Compass) can be used as a ghost detector? I have on a few occassions did Feng Shui audits and have to throw away the Chinese Loupan! What happened was that during my Feng Shui audits, if the Chinese Luopan's center needle moves round and round it means that it has detected a ghost! Usually, I notice that it occurs in the North-East part of the house or building! On occassions after this, I would fall sick and had to quickly throw away the Luopan. Take it this is part of the health hazard of a Feng Shui practioner! I think if my insurance company knows this, I would be have to pay a high premium or totally banned from taking up …

Feng Shui - Tip I currently wear a yin yang ring on my right hand ring finger. Which side should the darkened side be on, either the left or the right? Does this affect you if I have it on the wrong way and if it does what could it affect? The correct way to wear the ring should be (if you are looking at your own fingers) " Left = white and Right = Black. " For a graphic representation of how the symbol should be correctly used, do check out this page:- http://www.geomancy.net/fs/yinyang.htm On the top of the page you should see the correct `white (left) to black (right) Yin and Yang Symbol. This is also the same way one should also hang the pakua (bakua) above the ma…
