In General, these are the considerations or pairings of roof tile colors and exterior wall finishes:- 1. If possible, it is advisable to avoid a BLUE roof. According to the I-ching, blue symbolizes difficulty, and if it covers the entire roof, it resembles water above you. 2. If a blue roof MUST be utilized, then the exterior walls should be white or off-white, but never cream or beige. 3. If a grey roof is chosen, the optimal choice for the exterior walls is white. Grey exterior walls are acceptable, but if a grey roof is used, cream or beige walls should be avoided. 4. According to the current Feng Shui period, the most favorable colors are earth ton…

Location: Sembawang. These awnings shade the room windows. And the characteristic is that they are almost always installed on at the west facing side. Do not be deceived if you are house hunting and the owners switch on the air conditioning in the afternoon. This is a clear indication of an afternoon sun-facing unit.

Nowadays, few go for such designs. But, the photos shows : 1. The partition panel uses traditional motifs. 2. Although some don't like the motifs e.g. circle enveloping a hexagram; these are still acceptable "safe" motifs or designs or patterns in a home

In reference to my previous comments, I believe there may be a practical "downside" to using a curtain to cover the toilet door. This downside primarily relates to issues of effort or laziness and hygiene. Some individuals install a curtain and subsequently forget about it! (Install and forget). After a few weeks, if the curtains are not changed regularly, they could become a breeding ground for germs. Just imagine your attractive face, whether masculine or feminine, coming into contact with those curtains... It is possible to transfer numerous germs from the curtains to your lovely face! If you are uncomfortable with this situation, it may b…

Tong Shu can be regarded as analogous to undergoing an X-ray. While Ba Zi dates can be likened to an MRI scan. Another perspective is that Tung Shu is comparable to a Bachelor's degree, whereas Ba Zi corresponds to a Master's degree. Both are viewed as degrees; however, a Master's degree is considered superior to a Bachelor's degree. These interpretations may shift if one assumes the role of a matriarch in a family, with a preference for the Tung Shu. If an individual is more inclined towards the Tung Shu, it is advisable to favor this approach and abandon the Ba Zi method if reconciliation is not possible or if one prefers the familiarity of the Tung Shu as the…

Question: Is this bad Feng Shui? Reply: 1. Under symbolism in Feng Shui, less than ideal to have a split directly at the middle. 2. This is similar to have a two piece mirror splitting the dining table into two. Thus can be considered to be inauspicious. 3. Common sense: A table such as this which has a split, may cause food to be caught in the GAP. And for hygiene purposes, may allow bacterial or germ to flourish.

Dear Chris, Thank you for your information. Two weeks ago, I provided similar advice to yours, as the client has a window set between both sides of the bed. Specifically, I recommended that she close the left window, which is adjacent to the toilet area. In my opinion, you have offered sound advice. This client has her bedroom door directly in the narrow corridor facing the garage door, which is not ideal. In her situation, it would be advisable to keep the bedroom door closed. Honestly, in your situation, I do not see much additional advice beyond ensuring that the bed is positioned 'correctly' in relation to the room's layout and other factors such a…

Question: "Dear Master Cecil Lee, Hi Master Cecil Lee, sorry to disturb you. I heard from my Chinese friend it is no good to move to the new house in September,is it true? because am planning to move in the month of September." Reply: This phenomenon is primarily associated with Chinese culture, as the seventh lunar month is regarded by the Chinese as the 'Ghost Month'. During this period, it is believed that ghosts and spirits are liberated from the lower realm and permitted to wander freely on our physical plane. The commencement of the seventh lunar month occurs on the following dates: Western: July 27, 2014 (Sunday); Lunar…

Frequently, when a mirror is positioned directly beneath an air conditioner, it is possible for the air conditioning unit to leak water, which can subsequently harm the mirror(s). The mirrors possess coatings that are applied to the back to create the characteristic "mirror" reflection. These mirrors are affixed to a piece of plywood prior to being mounted on the wall. The plywood itself is also capable of absorbing moisture. In Singapore, the humidity levels often exceed 60 percent. Alternatively, an air conditioner may direct cold air onto the surface of the mirror, leading to potential flaking of the mirror. It is important to note that the mirrors …

Question: No choice to put dining table in the middle of the living room as it is small. ?Just hope that it is not an issue as it is right in front of the altar? Reply: The suggested layout is acceptable. However, for practical considerations, the dining table is positioned directly in the center of the living room; it is uncertain whether this arrangement obstructs movement, particularly for elderly individuals. As previously mentioned, numerous landed properties with an altar have it oriented towards the dining table: Please refer to the attached document. You will observe that the altar is frequently situated in the area indicated by the red …

Super-impose the 2nd storey layout plan onto the ground floor plan. And check that the 2nd storey toilet(s) are not directly above the ground floor main entrance door. Make sure that the toilet(s) are also not directly above the stove, a guest bed on the ground floor or above an altar. 2. For the 2nd storey, just make sure that the stove is not directly above one's bed which may be directly above the kitchen.
