These are further considerations: 1. Attached, please find a mind-map that I had just drawn to show the relationship between the two major concepts that are widely applied to Feng Shui today. 2. There is an interesting link between the Flying Star Feng Shui and Ba Zi to the Five Elements concept. The plus point of the Five Elements Concept is that as it is the lowest common denominator; it is like the glue that binds both Flying Star and Ba zi. 3. Today, the key success factor of the Compass School of Feng Shui (Eight House and Flying Star) is it's accountability: based on one's Year of Birth. How to get this wrong? Even if it is say wrongly calculated; anyone can double-…

Hi there, I have read somewhere about this issue and let me share with you: North-east in the eight Trigram represent the youngest son in the family (or any male who is 15 years old or below) In terms of the body, North-east represents the hands. This means that with a cut in the Noth-east for your house, it is very likely that the youngest male in the house may have hands problems (injury, cuts, etc) To rectify this, place a DOG statue at the part where the cut occurs. Please let me know whether this is true for you as I want to verify the accuracy of the feng shui theory. Thanks & good luck! :> Regards, Chris Ng

In this illustration, the bottle gourd is shown placed next to the toilet bowl. Used to absorb bad qi between the toilet and the master bedroom location. As mentioned earlier, these are some of the things, bottle gourd is used in Feng Shui. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. Further to what I had mentioned:- 2. In fact, although some things are 'strictly' Feng Shui issues e.g. the 2 hourly Chinese calendar timing:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=6&mid=29772&new= 3. I can easily explain it from a Commonsense approach. (See above link). Thus even if one is a non-expert in geomancy; it does not matter. 4. What is sad is that even during my course of work; I have encountered as many as 50 percent of some geomancers that get this commonsense issue wrong! And these geomancers advised their clients with the wrong day of birth! 5. Typically, as I always belief: even if 10 Geomancers tell a story of sorts; it d…

Dear Eve, Overall, `disturbing' the Grand Duke would mean doing renovation (minor or major) but in this case, frankly, I don't see knocking a few holes on the East wall as one. It is ok to go ahead with this. But some overzealous FS practioner may say otherwise. As for the book, currently, I put it on hold for the moment.. but will continue this year. This is because I am currently working on the on-line course for www.geomancy-u.com and another reason is because currently, there are so many FS books out there and am still thinking of whether to come out with a `general' first book or looking into specialised areas to write on as I feel that it is no point coming out with…

Dear Luna, For the six Buddhas, you can place them in a display cabinet. Either the `open' air or enclosed in a glass cabinet. Here are the important points to note:- 1. The wall behind the display cabinet must not be a toilet. 2. The display unit (with the six Buddhas) must not be placed in the bedroom. 3. They must not face a toilet or the kitchen directly. 4. They can face an open window in the living room. They can face the main door or close to the main door. It is acceptable to display `brand new' figurines as they have not absorbed the qi (ch'i) of any previous location. At home, I also do have two antique Buddha figurines. One with a laughing Buddha with many chil…

The Very Best of Luck with your manyFeng Shui endeavours Judith L. wrote: Dear Master Lee, Thank you so much for your very comprehensive answer. It was very helpful indeed! The yearly planning "gurus" always tell us to look at where we are now-- but I guess we must look at the past to even know where we are! Looking at the charts with the added perspective of your explanation has made it so much clearer. Looking at it now, there is no question of which chart to use (Period 6 ) as past events and occurrences fit more with one than the other.. What you wrote above, enforces the "pro" "hot" camp that the most effective or 100 precent method of changing an exis…

1. These are the photos of the 10 Qing (Ching) Dynasty coins. 2.Other than coins with auspicious sounding wordings; the Qing Dynasty coinsare often used, today as symbolisms in Feng Shui. 3. This is because the Qing Dynasty is one of the longest dynasties in China, stretchingfrom the reign of Shun-chifrom 1644 AD to 1911 AD.This dynasty : outwit, outlastany other dynasties by a mile. 4. Often, under symbolism in Feng Shui; if you want to use such coins; try to choose coins from two of the longest lasting reigns that represents periods of prosperity such as Kang-shi or Chien-lung. For example in the 11th month of the 16th year of Chien-lung's reign 1752 AD he was just 41 y…

Question: Can I do the first time open door procedure before the 7th month. And during the 7th month continue with the renovations. Is it ok to choose an auspicious date that is suitable to one partner but average for the other. Reply: 1. The concern of the 7th month is that when one leaves a home vacant; some are afraid that the "hungry ghosts" may come and live in the home. And if one suddenly disturbs them, they get "angry". But see Para 2 below 2. Thus, it is a good idea to start renovations and continue during the 7th month. Here, the hungry ghosts are also like humans; if there are lots of noise and construction, they will not want to "come in". 3. No issue to selec…

1. If you have the Pillars of Destiny Report, you can have a glimpse of what is your luck in winning the lottery. 2. Please refer to attachment:- File: Piancai.gif Under this illustration, you can find two items:- S/no. A - Unexpected Wealth (pian cai) 3. For this person, his pian cai is 5. A score of 5 to 7 means that one has a high probability of winning at lottery, 4-numbers or toto or loto or state gambling lotteries. 4. I personally have encountered a client who has unexpected wealth of a score of 7. Here, he often win in the lottery. Recently, last year, he own over $500,000 on the government allowed 4-digit game. Once a month, when he gets his salary, he would ju…

On 24/8/2011 2:38 PM, (Name removed) wrote: Dear (Name removed), Thanks for sharing with me your information. Frankly, Feng Shui may not be a cure all. Thus the key word here is: IT DEPENDS!" SENARIO 1. For example, some homes are like an unpolished gem. Once polished properly (e.g. fixed the leaks and areas that could be improved); can or may do wonders. SENARIO 2. Some apartmetns are like a 10 year run-down 1,000cc car. No matter how one tries to improve the car; can't pretend that next day, this run-down car becomes a BMW or Mercedes. Frankly, all these need to be investigated and reviewed and analysed before one can even comment on such things. Reference: Feng Shui…

1. Is this house considered at a L-Junction. (L-Junction and T-Junctions are quite similar form of sha-qi). 2. Yes, in theory, Yes, definitely this house is at a L-Junction. 3. But under Shapes and Forms, a further question need to be asked: 3.1. Which country is this photo taken from? 3.2. So what if this house is at an L-Junction. So long as Singapore's cars are "RIGH-HAND" drive; there is no issue with a Sha qi or poison arrow. 4. However, if this is in the US, China or many European countries other than UK, this may be considered as a sha qi. 5. Therefore, for homes at a T-Junction or in this case an L-Junction; do always remember "Righ-hand" or "Left-hand" drive veh…

Dear Joe, Symbolism in Feng Shui is equally important i.e. Blue symbolises " Water. " In the Book of I-Ching, Water means having difficulties:- 1. If an entire roof is covered with `water' (blue) one can imagine the amount of problems the household will get. The amount of `water' weighing down on one's home is enormous. 2. As I mentioned also that too much water in relation to the home e.g. greater than 33.3 percent is equally bad as too much water results in an Yin environment. 3. I have seen quite alot of occupants of houses with `blue' roofs facing difficulties and this correlates to what you have mentioned and to me, I believe it is bad to have blue tiled roof. 4. The…

Dear Chris, To clarify, what rooms are these? Are these 2 rooms the bedrooms? The only other way at present is to close the door when not in use. Yes, if the main door is facing a road lamp, it is best to place a Pakua above the main entrance door. The following are other alternatives:- 1. Placing a semi circle carpet outside the door. Best to have a diagram of a sun's rays or spokes radiating from the centre of the carpet. 2. If your friend's house is a private apartment, one can replace the door with a convex door. A convex door is to dispell sha ch'i. 3. If there are steps leading to the home, one can use semi-circle steps. 4. Tilt the main entrance door to a …

In reference to my previous comments, I believe there may be a practical "downside" to using a curtain to cover the toilet door. This downside primarily relates to issues of effort or laziness and hygiene. Some individuals install a curtain and subsequently forget about it! (Install and forget). After a few weeks, if the curtains are not changed regularly, they could become a breeding ground for germs. Just imagine your attractive face, whether masculine or feminine, coming into contact with those curtains... It is possible to transfer numerous germs from the curtains to your lovely face! If you are uncomfortable with this situation, it may b…

Further to what I had mentioned, 1. In the past, I had often brought out the need to use this simple TOOL:- The Three-Step-Approach 2. The above simple tool is about tracing the roots of a concept. And if we were to trace the roots; often, based on common sense, we can deduce which evolution tree a concept falls into. 3. Not only a concept falls into but rather what was it's chief evolution path. 4. Thus, in this simple attachment, if we trace Kua (Gua number) it falls under the evoluntionary tree of Feng Shui. 4.1. While what you mentioned, a snake be it a cobra, python or whatever snake; the concept of snake is based on Chinese Zodiac signs and falls under the evolution…
