Five Element Cures (Wu Xing)

Five Element (Wu Xing Zhi Liao) Cures

    Started by Guest Anonymous,

Dear Anon, It would be preferred or advisable to use the Chinese `i-ching coins' with square holes. This is in my opinion the preferred choice. Nowadays, there are lots of `imitation' or lots of such newly minted coins and are not that costly. The rationale why the i-ching coins are preferred is because it has a square hole at the centre. Under the Five elements concept: Earth produces metal and thus `make it stronger'. And this type of coins are proven. The rationale why the Singapore $1 coin was used as a "poorer" alternative is that it has the Ba Gua or eight sides and thus was used. Therefore, the silver coins you mentioned has so far not been proven: I am afraid,…

Or maybe your bedroom and main door is not in one of your good eight house directions. Worth a try to get a Flying Star Report done, but an Eight House =Direction is free on the website. For many many months I suffered badly from insomnia. Even sleeping pills =did not help. The day I balanced the elements in my bedroom was the day my sle…

Dear Nansi, Apologise for the late reply, was browsing through the message and found this still unanswered. Please read below:- Try to divide your Eight House using the pie lines and make sure you do not stay directly in the death line. Rather then the 9 square format. It is a little more accurate with the pie line division. Just avoid staying directly under the disaster line. Another suggestion is to strengthen yourself with your favourable elements, this will also help to counteract or reduce the influence. You see, even if you are a strong Earth, but without fire, you do not have a mother or a resource these are what essentially created you. So you still need …

  5. These are some considerations: 1. The main consideration is based on cultural sensitivities (if any). 2. Other than that; why is there a need to beholden to one's favourable or unfavourable element. This does not make sense? 3. For example, take an example of a 1 or 2 carat diamond. You think a girl friend who's element is unfavourable to diamond would refuse it. 4. Please note that this area has nothing to do with Feng Shui or what ever. 5. Given a gift is not like one is fixed or glued to the gift. 6. Please don't be one of the very first to be obnoxious with such things. 7. There are more important things in life than such "peanuts".

Hi, I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend who is 'strong earth' for 1 year plus.. our love is there and everything is good between us.no quarrels. However, i felt something wrong with myself physically and mentally all along. Iseem tolose myself and unconsciously keep stressing my mind and being. It seem to be out of my control. My eyes are kind of different andI felt like i'm trapped in my body.always seem to be fighting with myself .Thereistightness in my mind too..I can feel some internal heat as well,in my body and head. This feeling ofnot being me isaffecting me in all aspect, even exercising as i seem to be unable to 'feel myself' and easily injured my eg…

Dear Fraser, A more accurate analysis is to use the Pillars of Comparison module at www.geomancy-online.com It will analyse two persons elements and propose a binding element. This method is more accurate than using only the Astrology method (particularly if it is based only on the Year of birth and not a full analysis of Year, Month, Day and Hour). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Carrie, In my opinion, I feel that it is highly unprofessional to let so many people look at a person's chart. It is only right that you clarify with your "other source" to clear your doubts. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Kenny, The resource on colours in relation to FS is at this link: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/colours.htm Please see below:- In general, the colour brown should be considered as wood element. Both brown and green are considered = wood element. I can quite understand that some would argue that " brown " can be seen as the colour of earth. But, overall, it should still belong to (in my opinion brown = wood). Yes, Yellow colour can be quite subjective as it can either be looked at as gold or earth. I tend to agree with what you had mentioned. However, this is can be a very subjective topic. Where possible, if one is not sure, it is best to use WHITE = metal eleme…

Dear Cheui May, 1. For the house, we have already gone thru the various `cures' to balance the specific sectors. 2. For the individual, you can add `metal' during this period. For Example, you can wear white, `gold' coloured dresses (or T shirts) to further enhance your water element. You can equally, use blue, black or shades of grey also. The above is not compulsory, but would help. 3. Overall, you should not be too concerned about your bedroom being west. The above should do. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  11. Hi, Please read below:- Apologise for the delay, both Cecil and myself were tied up with some local seminar which we were invited to. Actually, for such shapes and forms type of influence, there is very little you can do about it. It is best to avoid it, but if you cannot, all you need to do is to ensure that the interior of the house is at least made auspicious by curing other problems which is within your ability to cure. Although, Feng Shui has many theories, however, there are some cases which basically you cannot do much with your own personal ability to cure, so in such cases, it is best to cure those which you can. Remember, the way to good harmony, is getting…

  12. I bought a house one year ago. I did not know but this house has an underground drain in the garden which is in the back of our house. This drain helps to lead an underground water flow, not to go into the house. Since I came in this house, I got bad health issues for me and my kids and I got a lot of legal court issues and money troubles. These troubles are painful, I wish I could move to another house ! maybe not everything is related to the drain but I would like to try something. I know there is an ancient feng shui formula that consists to flip the front of house to the back of house. I would like some advice on the matter. Thanks !

Dear Anon, Please see below:- There is only 2 bad wood #3. Given that there ia a #5 (strong earth), the two bad wood is not as bad since, under the destructive cycle, it will help to neutralise the bad earth #5. If one goes thru the destructive cycle, wood destroys earth. For example, the roots of a tree (wood) goes into the earth to "crush" it. It would not be a good idea to introduce Fire under the above senario as fire would further inflame the bad earth. For example, under the productive cycle, Fire fuels earth element. Given that there is a bad #7, this is not too bad considering:- TWO of the bad #3 sets out to neutralise #5. And the #3 is also used to "control…

Hi i was born on June 8th 1978 and my lucky element is wood. I have absolutely 0 in my wood charts and drastically high in earth. I am a beginner at feng shui but after reading the charts for the year of the goat, it says that the misfortune star is at the southeast and the cure for that is to put 6 coins on a read string to block the negative chi. As my element is wood and the coins are metal would that be conflicting? and what other cures would be good for a high wood element person? also i would be purchasing a wind chime, as most windchimes are metal should i look for a wood one to buy? Also in my sisters house the south-east part is in the car garage, and if she puts…

Dear Master Cecil Lee I was reading through the past articles in the forum and came upon this where it was advised to used bright lights against #5? I am afraid I don't understand as I thought bright light is considered strong yang and also fire element (which enhances #5)? Thank you! Dear Master Lee, Usually one would use metal (6-rod windchimes, 6-coins) to cure the #5 Earth star, but I came across a recent article that talks about curing the #5 Yellow using the balance of Yin and Yang. It says to put 8 white-colored stones (to represent 8 White star) in the sector of the #5. The idea is to have 8 Earth (Yin) to balance 5 Earth (Yang) and neutrali…

Dear Anon, This is found under the Five element cure's computerised module which analyses in detail with all other elements, I would not elaborate further. One's time should be spent productively. The other point to take note is it also depends on the element of influence for the period. For example, under the Pillars Luck period, if the season `supports' the season of e.g. fire, it will further increase the fire element and create e.g. health or competition at work. Warmest Regards, Cecil

hi Cecil, i live in a period 8 house and have acquired the chart of changes that appear in 2024 for period nine for a NW2 house. Do the natal stars on a period 8 house change in 2024, or do they remain the same and have new influences coming In? Also, I’ve read that 2’s and 7’s will be different in period nine. Could you please explain how the 9 stars will change in influence during period nine? thank you for considering my two questions.

  20. Dear Fraser, Sorry for the late reply. 1. The Eight House Theory is not normally used external to the house. For example, it should not be extended outside the house. 2. The Eight House Theory as most of us are aware, is used to look at our personal best directions or suitability of a location / sector or house. 3. If one notice closely, one cannot link the Five Element Concept with the Eight House Theory. 4. Put it in another way, Eight House Theory has not direct link to the elements. Contrast this to the Flying Star Theory. For example, Flying Star is always using the Five Elements relationship. Star 2 = Strong Earth. Star 6 = Strong Metal. This is where Eight House is…

  21. Sorry your question is very general. These are some considerations;- 1. Is the tree inside a home or outside of a home? 2. Under symbolism in Feng Shui, a Christmas tree is like an "UP" arrow. To some it looks like progress. 3. Many Christmas trees need little or no maintenance. For example, the bougainvillea needs constant trimming and depending on it's species many of it's species have nail hard torns - unlike soft "needles" of a Christmas tree. 4. Under Flying Star Feng Shui; one has to be more carefull of sectors with star #3 and often a tree (or any other tree) is not favourable. 5. If Christmas trees are potted; it does not grow too large or too tall. Even if it gro…

Dear Anom, 1. For a novice, this may be big worry or concern. As most of us will quite rightly worry about pots or planters with soil. 2. However, if we properly consider the Five Elements concept - Destructive cycle:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-5element.htm 2.1 One will notice that in the destructive cycle, plants/trees (wood element) destroys or crushes earth element. 2.2 Here, we can imagine, the roots of the plants penetrating the soil. Thus this two auspicious cycle of wood -> destroying earth is good. 2.3 Many Feng Shui practitioners will also tell you that even artificial plants are acceptable used. This is OK. 2.4 In Flying Star Feng Shui, b…

Feng Shui cannot be done by remote control. For example, moving to a new home say in US; does not affect things that happen in Singapore (sorry to hear about your brother's demise). 2. Feng Shui or one of it's major schools: Compass School comprising the Eight House and Flying Star are both compass based. And place a solid object with mass at this location. This is to activate your networking luck. In addition if there a…
