Five Element Cures (Wu Xing)

Five Element (Wu Xing Zhi Liao) Cures

  1. Dear Sir 2-7-2005 Kindly advice on the following: 1. House is build in say Period 7 ( Seven) , But Flying Star Anlysis is done in Period 8 (Eight) . Now at this time 7 will be good star or faded star. ( What I mean is take 7 star as auspious in flying star and place no cures or treat as faded star in period 8 and if required place cure). 2. in flying star analysis some author says only see the interaction between a) Water & Mountain Star b) Earth & Water Star c) All Three ( here lies the difficulty that sometimes when you take all the three stars combination becomes very confusing . Then What ?) Post is Long . Apologise for that. J S Gaidu ( India)

Dear Master Robert Lee Hi again and goodmorning. As always, thanks for your advice. I now understand what is triple combinations. Now, quite confusewith the flying star. A mountain or water star that can be activated are only stars that are based on the period of the base period. ie period 8, auspicious mountain/water star is star 8. If such stars are not present for example, then there isn't any benefit in activating it. So the triple combination does not convert a ordinary star into an auspicious mountain/water star. As such you cannot activate it. As base period, ie period 8, auspicious mountain/water star is star 8 then such star is auspicious and it's benefit i…

Dear Robert Lee Hi, thanks and gladfully to clear my doubts and enlighten me. Have another question. As I am a strong earth and husband weak water. He needs water and metal to strengthen his element. Right! Does that mean as well with his productive cycle helps my element too? A bit of complication here. The North West location eg. MS3, BS9, WS6 according to flying star chart report said to use metal (white/gold) to exhaust the weaken earth. Does that mean itsalso related to any memberof the family element (either to weaken or either to strength the element). I hope you understand what I mean here. Sorry for the confusing questions. Appreciate your reply. Thank you o…

Hi James, Although, I have replied you via e-mail. I am replying this in general for other user's benefit:- james koh wrote: Dear Robert, I know this has probably been discussed thousand times but I could not find it in the forum. I have confusion finding my main door. I stays on the 10th floor. I don't know whether should I consider this a low floor to use my hall windows as main door. Secondly, can I get the facing of my main door by standing right at my door looking outside? Frankly, I hope I could do this or else standing from centre of my apartment will give my door disastrous direction. Thanks in advance James …

Hi James, For example, if there is like a single lamp post cutting into the house from the living room window. If you can't see the threat it will not be a problem, so if you have like day curtain and keep it close, it will help block the Sha Qi from entering into the house. Also, sometimes plants or even a fish tank may also be placed that that position to help block of the Sha Qi. So it all depends on what exactly is the problem and how severe is the Sha Qi, then you can make use of one of the solution to help block the Shq Qi. Then since your spouse does not get a very suitable hou…

  9. Dear Nhan Vo, Frankly, wind chime is useful if placed outside the house or close to the window area. It can be very irritating if you place inside the house especially in your situation. Alternative to a wind chime, you can choose to suitable colour scheme such as White/Gold (Metal) colours to balance up the sector. Alternatively, use the 6 coins with red string as an alternative. But also it depends on what is the other stars in the sector, sometimes if there is a star 6 in the sector, then I don't think the star 5 annual star may be that of a big issue. I think you should consider the implications of a wind chime as it can be very irritation for the family. So instea…

Dear Wanjun, Please make use of the online analysis to determine whether you are weak or strong:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-element.htm Usually, ba zi day of birth is used to determine if you are what element within the year. As to whether you are a weak or strong element, that depends on quite a number of factors, ie seasons of birth, number of elements including the House of Conception & Life. The above link will analysed everything just as the paid report, so you will know for sure whether you are weak or strong. Hope that helps. Dear Mariechel, As such if you choose someone you would like it to match the day element (ie if weak Earth would best match with Strong Fire for example, and if Strong Earth, weak Metal for example). You should know that a person's luck is always changing, every 10-year, every 5-year, every year, every 6-months, every month, every day, and every hour. So that is why there is ups and downs in everyone's life. In order to know how good a 10-year luck, you need to relate all these information together just like in this detailed ba zi analysis from our ba zi Premium:- Luck (1) [1918 to 1927] is an auspicious period as it favours your 10 yearly Big Luck Period.…

Dear Sir: A follow up to my question: i.e. ifI haveyear sign of a metal monkeybut my day stemhave an earth element, how do I choose a compatible mate? a. Do I have to choose someone who have a water or earth sign to match it with my metal monkey or b. Do I have to choose someone who have a metal or fire sign to match it with myday stem element which isan earth element. (If youmake an analysis of the situation - the compatibility of the earth elementcontradicts the compatibility of my metal element) So which is much more important??? If the day stem is more important than the year element in choosing a compatible mate, do I have to look for somebody based on their day s…

  14. Dear Catherine, You need to get this issue right here. There is two direction suitability. 1. Eight House suitability ie North - Excellent / Longevity etc. 2. Ba Zi Element ie North - Water etc. The two theories each have its own purpose. Direction element is used on a much larger defination ie facing direction of a House ie faces North so considered a North element house. Whereas, for eight house this is more suitabled to apply in a smaller scale, ie facing direction of your study table / bed, or selecting the best bedroom. The two theories may conflict, but if you apply them as stated above (ie eight house for suitability and small scale division of sectors, while …

Dear Catherine, Frankly, in terms of shapes and form, sleeping with a window behind you isn't as good as sleeping with a wall behind you. So if you only have this two choices, I would say that sleeping with the wall behind you is much better even though the wall is saeparating the toilet. My only question here is that is the toilet bowl located just behind the toilet or on the opposite wall. Basically, the major issue about the toilet is where the toilet bowl location is. If it is direction behind you, then it isn't that good. If it is the shower or basin, then not as bad. But again, it really ultimately depends on whether you have other options of placing the bed.Bed…

Dear Carmen, Each are different analysis, depending on what you are looking for each analysis is used for different purpose. I would recommend that you follow these rules:- 1. Check out your ba zi element, find out what direction you house faces ie North facing house is Water element, if water element is your favourable, then it is suitable to your ba zi. Even if not so suitable, as long as it is still your favourable element as in second check should still be ok. 2. Check your 4 good & 4 bad direction (eight house report), if North is one of your favourable element, then it is a suitable house for you. Else it isn't. If isn't, ensure that it is not Death or …

Dear Nhan, In particular, especially for stars like #5 misfortune and sickness or #2 sickness, evidently, it would be a good idea to try to neutralise it. For example, if say the bedroom is that the second storey (floor) and so happens that #5 is in the bedroom; then a Feng Shui cure could be placed in the room. And similarly, it could be placed at the first or ground floor. However, for cures like salt water, it would be better that this location or this cure should be placed in a well ventilated place i.e. close to or at the window area. And not placed at a corner. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Ming Le, Frankly, at your "age" since you are a student, one is often totally have little say in where our bedroom / cum study area or location is. Thus, in my opinion, like the millions who had gone thru this stage, it is good to entirely "scrap" the idea of Feng Shui or the notion of it. In fact, many people like yourself has completed their studies successfully -- withou the notion of "Feng Shui". This is because, firstly, your room is a "tiny location" and as mentioned above, you do not have full control of your environment. It is best to look at the holistic approach to Feng Shui or the holy trinity of Feng Shui: 1. Heaven Luck 2. Earth Luck 3. Human or m…

Dear Theresa, Yes, metal is a good solution given that it creates a three-element flow ie. Under the productive sequence, there is a three combination, "auspicious" flow Earth - Earth - In the period 8, I would like to activate the sector of my house with water star 8, however it comes with a combination of mountain star 1, water star 8 and base star 5. As earth controls water and weaken self, prosperity will be withhold or weakened. I was told to place metal to neutralize the effect, but I wonder by implementing metal will it strengthen water and further weaken prosperity star 8? What is the best solution? This sector is painted green. Would a…

Dear Anon, Please see below:- There is only 2 bad wood #3. Given that there ia a #5 (strong earth), the two bad wood is not as bad since, under the destructive cycle, it will help to neutralise the bad earth #5. If one goes thru the destructive cycle, wood destroys earth. For example, the roots of a tree (wood) goes into the earth to "crush" it. It would not be a good idea to introduce Fire under the above senario as fire would further inflame the bad earth. For example, under the productive cycle, Fire fuels earth element. Given that there is a bad #7, this is not too bad considering:- TWO of the bad #3 sets out to neutralise #5. And the #3 is also used to "control…

Dear Ivan, If the analysis is done correctly in full detail, considering all clashes and combination as in our Ba Zi Premium, then that kind of chart to me will be considered unbalanced. And more of a type of chart where there likely more health issues then normal. Each unbalanced element will relate to certain body part like fire is heart and brain etc. However, if it is not done properly or there are analysis missing, then it will be hard to say. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee I am My birth data Wood=0 Water=-18 Fir Ivan A. Parra

  22. Dear Anon, Wishing you best of luck in getting a job soon! Please see below:- Do make yourself at home:) If you need both networking luck and wealth luck, trying to map out a Flying star chart specific to your home. I had taken a break should I enhance the The more "politically" correct way is as mentioned to draw a specific Flying star chart for your home. Instead of enhancing north with a water feature, try your best to under Period 8 to locate the water star #8. This is suppose to be your water wealth position. Location mountain star #8. And place a solid object with mass at this location. This is to activate your networking luck. In addition if there a…

Dear Master Cecil Lee I was reading through the past articles in the forum and came upon this where it was advised to used bright lights against #5? I am afraid I don't understand as I thought bright light is considered strong yang and also fire element (which enhances #5)? Thank you! Dear Master Lee, Usually one would use metal (6-rod windchimes, 6-coins) to cure the #5 Earth star, but I came across a recent article that talks about curing the #5 Yellow using the balance of Yin and Yang. It says to put 8 white-colored stones (to represent 8 White star) in the sector of the #5. The idea is to have 8 Earth (Yin) to balance 5 Earth (Yang) and neutrali…

For the earlier salt water cure if it is not covered, leave it in an open area. Avoid placing it in an enclosed area. Salt water with copper (An Ren Shui) is consider ancient technology, ionizer bulb is a great idea. I will consider using plants to purify the air, taking the time to care for living things will also nurture good character for example like patience... Character development and enhancement are also part of FS isn't it? FS is nature
