Hi James, For example, if there is like a single lamp post cutting into the house from the living room window. If you can't see the threat it will not be a problem, so if you have like day curtain and keep it close, it will help block the Sha Qi from entering into the house. Also, sometimes plants or even a fish tank may also be placed that that position to help block of the Sha Qi. So it all depends on what exactly is the problem and how severe is the Sha Qi, then you can make use of one of the solution to help block the Shq Qi. Then since your spouse does not get a very suitable hou…

Hi James, Although, I have replied you via e-mail. I am replying this in general for other user's benefit:- james koh wrote: Dear Robert, I know this has probably been discussed thousand times but I could not find it in the forum. I have confusion finding my main door. I stays on the 10th floor. I don't know whether should I consider this a low floor to use my hall windows as main door. Secondly, can I get the facing of my main door by standing right at my door looking outside? Frankly, I hope I could do this or else standing from centre of my apartment will give my door disastrous direction. Thanks in advance James …

Dear Anon, Oops! Simply plain unlucky to have such a neighbour! Often, to be honest, sometimes there is nothing much we can do since this is common property! Logically, we could try to speak to our neighbour, first. (Crossing-fingers). But if cannot help... perhaps... long shot.. go to the neighbourhood "management"... if all these seems a hopeless idea... really sorry, though.. erh.. resign to fate.. already! Warmest Regards, Cecil P.S. There are situations where, on occasions, if the neighbour does not have cctv camera or survelliance or anyone watching... JUST pray.. that all these things "disappear!". HINT: some one goes to steal all these "yucky" items and throw…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: The binding elements to get the two parties to be compatible or reduce conflict is Water & Earth. This means that the five element compatibility isn't the best match element. ie weak wood vs weak earth. weak wood destroy weak earth. So particularly bad for weak earth. The reason for the two elements is so that one element can strengthen one person and the other to strengthen the other person. ie. water & earth = water to make weak wood stronger, while earth to strengthen weak earth. There are also many other combinations you can choose:- ie. either wood & fire - ie wood strengthen weak wood, and fire strengthen weak earth. …

Dear Violet, 1. You have a good point. Not all things that influence has more than 33.3% space. In general, many FS practitioners look at colours e.g. on a wall; curtains and bedsheets. And thus this is how the 33.3% "influence comes into being". 2. You are correct to say that small windchimes and bagua mirrors are small, yet do not occupy 33.3 per cent of space. These category of objects should be distinct from what was mentioned under Para 1. 3. Wind chimes In general, wind chime is suppose to help neutralise bad Flying Star numbers like #5 misfortune/sickness and various combinations of #5 with #2 sickness and /or with #9 fire element. As these elements: #5 , #2, …

1. Yes, precisely! The trouble with some Feng Shui practitioners is that they merely visit your home for a short duration. And in my opinion, frankly totally irresponsible to ask their client not to use the master bedroom. This is as good as not using the master bedroom and master toilet. 2. There are ways to neutralise what you had mentioned. And based on the star numbers that you have given, one do not need to resort to the earlier advice under Para 1. It is as good as telling you, move out. Try to contact the practitioner and "demand" for a cure for it. As well as to wake him (her) up to the fact that such "cures" suggested is totally unsatisfactory!

Most people usually don't have the time nor the patience to monitor Flying Stars up to the micro levels. The key success factor is to consider the 20 Year Flying Star and concentrate on this. And the very few look at the Yearly stars. Thus, if the yearly stars together with the 20 year Flying stars are examined, this is often already very good. If one wants to go into the monthly flying stars; then best to consider the most serious star e.g. #5. And for other stars like #3, consider it in-relation to how many of these stars are within the 20 year, year at that sector. Only those with better knowlege can look at it with other stars like #4 etc...

You are half-right i.e. technically Flying Star #3 is not suitable for a strong wood person. However, please note that Flying Star is about a home or office - immobile. In general, most of the materials are acceptable:- 1. Make sure that all chairs are even numbers. 2. If there is a long bench, the long bench is not counted. Only the stools or chairs are counted and should be even numbers. 3. If the dining table is located at a sector that has Flying Star number (s) #5, be more cautious when buying marble top dining tables. 4. Generally, wood, wood with glass; glass with metal are better combinations: Wood with metal is still acceptable. Jolie Q. wrote: Need help picking furniture material. 1. Please see this example of a Sample Person (Male):- 1.1. The Balance of Five Elements for each person is not static. 1.2. This means that : this sample male person was born on 22 October 1972. On that day; he was born; his elements look something like this:- Water = zero percent Wood = three percent Fire = zero percent Earth = eighty-six percent Metal = seven percent. 1.3. But when he is at 54 to 63 years of age, please see attachment. The above five elements have changed. 1.4. Please note that the balance of elements at birth is often balanced by a parent or grand-parent going to a geomancer to advice on a NAME for a NEW-BORN child. As at that age; the chil…

These are some considerations:- 1. Scientific or Hocus Pocus Fung Sway? 1.1. Scientific Feng Shui is about e.g. plotting a Flying Star chart to either enhance good qi or negate or neutralise bad qi. 1.2. Frankly, without drawing up the above, chart, might as well then go the route of Hocus Pocus Fung Sway. 2. Over-eating 2.1. In my opinion, placing a salt cure, here, there and everywhere is like a case of over-eating. 2.2. In the long term over-eating is unhealthy.... eat moderately... please. 3. Modern vs Ancient 3.1. In ancient times; an open jar of salt, water, copper coins is reactive... suppose to create ions... 3.2. In modern times; we now know of ions: both positiv…

1. Many of us are led into the believe that we must classify an item into only one element else; it was felt that it will be totally wrong; if an item was classified into say: Metal-Earth element. Or rather the square peg in a round hole mentality. 2. Really, what is wrong with classifying an item into more than one element. 3. For simplicity; as you had mentioned; in GENERAL jewelry is classifed as metal element because in most instances; it is made up of some metal. For example standard wedding ring needs some metal to hold it together. Whether a gem is to be embedded or not is another story. 4. In many of the past forum messages; I had mentioned that today; an occu…

These are some considerations: 1. Chinese has it's own palmistry. And often we look at the whole picture and try to figure out an entire hand and categorise it to one of the five elements. 2. Thus a hand with pointed fingers and pointy hands is considered as a fire element. 2.1. While a squarish /rectangularish hand is considered as an earth element etc... 3. My website: http://palmistry.net has some interesting information on the hand. 3.1. In the past, the most respected doctors examined hands and colours etc ... thus this resulted in several well known doctors who were well versed in hand reading. As one of the key elements is that it can tell the health of a person. …

I bought a house one year ago. I did not know but this house has an underground drain in the garden which is in the back of our house. This drain helps to lead an underground water flow, not to go into the house. Since I came in this house, I got bad health issues for me and my kids and I got a lot of legal court issues and money troubles. These troubles are painful, I wish I could move to another house ! maybe not everything is related to the drain but I would like to try something. I know there is an ancient feng shui formula that consists to flip the front of house to the back of house. I would like some advice on the matter. Thanks !

Hi i was born on June 8th 1978 and my lucky element is wood. I have absolutely 0 in my wood charts and drastically high in earth. I am a beginner at feng shui but after reading the charts for the year of the goat, it says that the misfortune star is at the southeast and the cure for that is to put 6 coins on a read string to block the negative chi. As my element is wood and the coins are metal would that be conflicting? and what other cures would be good for a high wood element person? also i would be purchasing a wind chime, as most windchimes are metal should i look for a wood one to buy? Also in my sisters house the south-east part is in the car garage, and if she puts…

Dear Sir 2-7-2005 Kindly advice on the following: 1. House is build in say Period 7 ( Seven) , But Flying Star Anlysis is done in Period 8 (Eight) . Now at this time 7 will be good star or faded star. ( What I mean is take 7 star as auspious in flying star and place no cures or treat as faded star in period 8 and if required place cure). 2. in flying star analysis some author says only see the interaction between a) Water & Mountain Star b) Earth & Water Star c) All Three ( here lies the difficulty that sometimes when you take all the three stars combination becomes very confusing . Then What ?) Post is Long . Apologise for that. J S Gaidu ( India)
