Dear Cecil & Robert, Firstly I must congratulate as well as thank you for this great web site. :-) I am Santanu Biswas from New Delhi (India) and my interest in Feng Shui is very very recent. I am trying to check/correct my personal directions at home and office based on various reports that I have been able to gather from your web site. Till now a part of what I have been able to gather about myself is as follows: - My date of birth: 30th March 1966 - My personal Gua number: 7 - Kua type: Metal - Birth element: strong Earth (favorable element: metal and unfavorable element: fire) - Eight house chart: West door person - Favorable work position/direction: North west Now coming to my question (rather my confusion) - Is the favorable work position based on simple geographical direction or is it related to my eight house chart? In other words, do I simply find out the north west direction using a normal magnetic compass and position myself accordingly OR do I consider my office main door direction as West (as per my eight house chart) and the north west direction should be relative to this 'virtual west' direction??
