    Going from Period 7 to Period 8

    I am unclear on how going from period 7 to period 8 will affect my flying star report. I have a period 6 house (which I am assuming will stay a period 6 house even if we go from a period 7 to 8, unless I renovate it). Will the auspicious and inauspicious nature of each sector change?

    Flying Star and Eight House Chart

    I am confused on how to use the flying star report and the eight house chart to cure my home. I purchased a period 6 house facing north and I am a weak wood element. According to the flying star report NW is an excellent sector, Center and South are good, and N, NE, W, E, SW, SE are inauspicious. However according to my eight house chart the N, E, S, and SE are my good sectors. How do I combine the information in these two reports?

    I just purchased a period 6 house (facing north) and generated Flying Star reports on it. The report suggests several metal cures, however I am a weak wood element and metal destroys wood. Should I add metal to the inauspicious sectors as suggested?
