Dear Sir, My husband & I just bought a resale house. Main door facing is North, from center of the house, facing is NW. I'm a strong water and my husband is a weak Metal. North is not a good direction for us by NW is - which is why we got the house as we understand we have to take readings from centre of the house. There is a short foyer leading to our living room. We just hacked away a cabinet so now the wall facing the main door is empty. At first we thought of having a water feature, however, heard that it's not so good to have water feature facing the main door directly. Now we are thinking of having a feature wall - i.e. granite. Is this ok? Behind the wall is the master bedroom. Your advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you! Best Regards, Jeanette

Hi, I'm abit confuse after reading one of the advise posted in this website on which flat is in the good direction for the owner. In this website, it was stated for HDB flat, the direction for the flat is taken from the centre of the flat to the door direction. However, in other books, the direction should be taken from the main door itself. In a dilemma now. Recently saw a flat that we like. However the main door facing is North (which is bad direction for both my husband and myself). However, if we take the direction from the centre of the flat to the main door, the facing is NW (which is good direction for both of us). Which theory should I follow?? Your advice is mostly appreciated. Thank you - Jeanette
