I have seen a few feng shui books & gets confusing on which direction to go by.Do I go by thesouth in the true south direction here in U.S.A.? Or does it go by front door - no matter which direction it faces? Thanks.

We would like to put an old, unloaded rifle above our fireplace in cabin, but wondering if bad to have one. On our floorplan,the riflewould face either, family/wealth division line (*which is near our daughter's bedroom) or marriage/children area if turned it around - making me feel, I better just put a mirror (?) above it insteadORsilk flowers (?). Part of Feng Shui is common sense & a rifle would make me feel uncomfortable facing these areas - even though can be a safety feeling, too - but doesn't seem to work facing any direction. We have not purchased a rifle & will not, until hear back from you on your opinion. Thanks!

Son - February 11.1989, 8:57 AM = a brown snake, earth, 2. *strong/weak? Myself - Sept. 25, 1965, 3AM = a green snake, wood, 7. *strong/weak? Mother - Feb. 19, 1941 (AM arrival) = a gray snake, metal, 1. *strong/weak? Thanks! As you can see, we are ALL the elements combined = NEVER a dull moment!
