    Confusion about 'facing' and 'sitting

    Dear Master Lee, I am new to Feng Shui. After some reading and web searching, I have found two seeming contradicting theories. Please help to clarify.The theory adopted by you seems to indicatethat forEast persons like me with Kua = 4 thefour good directions for the door facing are N, S, SE, and E. However, another theory seems to believe the good sitting direction should be N, S, SE, and E, and thus the door facing directions are S, N, NW, a nd W.For the N and S, either theory would say to begood directions for facing and/or sitting. But for the other directions, two theories could yield totally opposite results (for me, NW would be an idea facing direction according to the 2nd theory, but bad one according to the 1st theory). Could you please offer some insight to thisconfuusion and perhaps the origin of that? Many thanks!
