  1. Dear Robert/Cecil; We are planning to rent a stall(store space), the stall available is located in the front part of the building, visible from the street, but the entrance is inside. The building is facing South, so the stall's entrance is facing North. The building's facade is glass, so when we look out from the stall, it is directly facing a big pillar in the median of the busy street that supports an overhead MRT track. Also the front of the stall is facing an escalator, although the entrance of the stall is not. Is it ok? The landlord, who claims to be knowledgeable in FengShui, tells us that it is no concern since it is the stall's backside that is facing the massive pillar. He even suggested that we put a coin sword to counter the pillar if we are in doubt. please help. thank you
  2. a friend's house is designed that the arched driveway goes up to the second floor, where their living, dining, & kitchen is located. their bedrooms & a family hall are all located in the ground floor. there is alsoa doorin the ground floor which opens tothe family hall, (directlly below the 2nd floor main door). the design actually looks nice from the street, as the arched driveway and main door is clearly visible. he reasons that this type of design is more fucnttional as most comfort rooms are in the ground floor(avoid leaks), kitchen on second floor getsbetter ventilation, living & dining room also gets more natural light in the day. what are the feng shui interpretation on this type of house?
