Dear teachers, thank you for giving us the opportunity to ask questions through your advice section. It is a good feeling to have a recource other than books! here is my question for you: I am a youg woman born in 1978 (august 9th in mid-morning 9-10 am) and I have recently found an apartment that I am happy with. When I looked up my house direction infeng shui books, I learned I am a southwest (Kua 2) house, and that my best directions are related to the west. the way my house is designed seems like is might be a problem for my elements and geomancy type! when you enter my building, it is through a north facing main door. there is a foyer and you enter my house through an east door. there is a smallroom which is a bedroom/ living room combination with windows on the north side. a small hallway witha bathroom to the west leads to a kitchen in the direction of south. my question for you is: I am a southwest person, so does this mean when I puta chart on a blueprint I should use the chart for the southwest house - so that the north for me would still be in the death position, the northwest longevity and so on? this is not where my main door is facing, so should I use a north house chart instead? once I know which directions are best for me in my house, I can decide where to arrange my furniture and pick the right colors to use(wood and earth colors, I think)and also if the bathroom being in the west is a problem! so you can see, me being a southwest person, what advice would you have for making the chi in a north facing house as positive and good as possible? all advice is welcome! thank you so much and best to you! -Ana
