Master Lee, Thanks for your feedback. I might also add that upon entry into this flat, the pole is immediately visible beyond the balcony glass doors. In short, it bisects the flat right from balcony to main door. I suppose this is really a no, no?

Hello (singapore?) Ringing you up from Canada! I am looking at a prospective flat for myself. The living is an unobstructed view to the Northern snow mountains, but unfortunately, there is a power / telephone pole at the 1/4 position in front of the living room balcony. Of course, power wires stem from both ends of it and run right across myopen viewThis is raising all kinds of alarms amongst my elders! Anyway way of diffusing this? Thank you in advance.
