    how to determine which direction is correct ?

    Dear All, Recently i was reading Lilian Too's Feng Shui & Fortune, the book mention that it will be good if i am able to put a water feature at the south east direction of my house. I am kind of confuse how to determine which direction should i face ? my main door facing out ? or stwanding outside facing in? or is there any method which i am able to get the correct direction of the house which i face in order to place my compass to determine the south east direction. Please advice. Many Thanks. Chew Chin
