    good day to you. id like some help on understanding the theory behind the kua number. my question is why is the males number subtracted from 10? and the female number added by 5? i understand that the kua number 5 has no value to it, being used in a reading and that is used to get the female number. what i dont understand is that in numerology 10 is not considered a number as the number 0 is nothing. and when calculating your numbers in numerology the numbers go from 1 to 9. please can you explain how this works? i have been looking all over the internet for the reasoning behind the theory and nothing has come up. i am currently studying feng shui and not knowing how the theory came about is bothering me. kind regards liz
