Generally, people always wants if possible to select auspicious dates whether it be for moving into the home, opening the door, opening a business etc.
So generally, auspicious dates can be used in any of the areas. So long as you think it is an important event and need a date to do so. The Auspicious Dates analysis report is meant to do that.
It does a detailed comparison based on each person's ba zi. As no one single person has the same luck. Then next is to check on the Tong Shu Dates to ensure like for example no one likes to move in during say the Qing Ming month etc.
In your question, moving in is usually defined as selecting a date which you officially move in (whether or not your furniture is shifted in or not). It is a date to mark that you have officially move it. Often, this is to bring in certain key essentials like the Stove, Rice, Salt etc.
The actual moving in of the furniture or staying need not necessary require a good date, although most Singaporeans especially would want to ensure that everything is done properly so they will often try to choose a date which is auspicious as well.
So the Auspicious Dates report does exactly that, especially to find the best dates for the Breadwinner and the Spouse.

Dear Anon,
You need to have more Wood (green/brown) in your clothing on a personal level.
And/or to create a triple combination flow ie:-
Metal (white/gold) -> Water (blue/black/gray) -> Wood (green/brown)
Once in a harmonious flow of combination, it does not matter if the decor is more blue, as the water will be converted to Wood, and the Wood is neutralised by Metal. Thus, the elements become in harmony with each other as opposed to having too much of a certain element.
Thus, in Feng Shui, it is important to note that it is more important to have a balance of 20% of each element. However, that is sometimes too difficult to achieve that. Thus, we apply feng shui based on the what elements you favour most and what you lacks.

The problem here is Ba Zi analysis can be done on a basic level or on a comprehensive level.
In order to determine whether you are weak or strong many analysis has to be done.
1. Computing the number of elements broken down into the five element.
2. Assigning proper weightage to the element based on the Seasons of Birth.
3. Determining if there are any elements which combines and clashes to form certain elements.
4. Checking the House of Life and House of Conception influences on the five element distributions etc.
5. And a few more rulesets.
Only when you work out all these, can you determine properly whether an element is weak or strong.
Take this for example (not your chart but an example chart only)

Element Strength Percentage % Rating Recommendation

9 Water Strong 87 % Reduce Element Have A LOT less of your Most Unfavourable Element

1 Wood Extremely Weak 2 % Increase Element Have A LOT more of your Favourable Wealth Element

2 Fire Weakest 9 % Acceptable (Increase Element) Have more of your Favourable Element

0 Earth Weak 0 % Increase Element Have A LOT more of your Unfavourable Element

0 Metal Strongest 0 % Increase Element Have A LOT more of your Unfavourable Wealth Element

Until you have work out a chart similiar to this Overall Summary in the Paid Ba Zi report, you will not know why you are a weak or strong.
Generally, even if your birth element is weak, but if you have too much of it and supporting element compared to the unfavourable element, your chart will still be strong.
So I am personally not surprised to see a person born in the weak season to be finally determined as a Strong person. Basically the seasons of birth is only one aspect of the entire analysis.

Eight House there are only 8 trigrams which represents equally the Eight Directions.

So how can Gua 9 numbers be equal to represent 8 Trigrams? There is no way so that is why the Gua Number itself does not yet equal to the 8 Trigram. Especially not the Gua number 5. Thus, the number 5 is often converted to represent one of the other two Trigram depending on Male or Female.
Since the Eight Trigram is used or part of the Compass School (ie quite related to the Flying Stars) except that the center sector is empty. Thus, We relate the Trigam exactly as how it would link to the Flying Star. Eight House and Flying Star are part of the Compass School, thus it is more appropriate to allow both theories to be associated to each other.
Thus, when we number them we number them as it should related to the Flying Star where there are 9 grids and only 5 (Center) is missing.
In fact, this is not much different as to the Gua Number, as it does the same by assigning Gua 5 to another Trigam number.

Yes, it is the same because Gua number 5 is not yet converted to the appropriate Gua Type / Trigram. Thus, in your case the Gua 5 is actually Gua 8 Gen Trigram. No difference here. But we do not just because of this change the position of the Gen Trigam from position 2nd last position to 5 position.

Ba Zi is the best in determining what element you belong to ie a weak wood, strong fire etc.

You can do a check on the Gua Number, as it will show you the Gua Number is 5 - Ken / Gen. And if you check the Gua Type on the Ba Zi, it shows Kua Gen, but the Gua Type number is 8 because of it's position and or Gen is considered to us the 2nd Last Gua in the order.

Never buy a house with a toilet located at the center influence of the home.

In order to analyse whether a name is good or nor, you will need to often use the strokes of the name combination.
Usually, it is best to use the Traditional Form of the Name.
From there, usually a calculation is done and you will be able to break down the Tian-Di-Ren Ge (Heaven-Earth-Human factors in the name).
There are usually 5 factors. They usually can be either Auspicious or Inauspicious.
The better names usually have 4/5 or 5/5 auspicious Tian-Di-Ren Ge.

b. The Sounding of the Name
c. The meaning of the Name
It is ideal to have a name which fulfill all the above three areas.
So often, we use the strokes of each chinese character to find the combinations of strokes which produces the best dates.
ie. 12-13-4
where Surname 12, Middle Name is 13 and Last Name is 4.
Usually such a combination will produce different breakdown of Tian-Di-Ren Ge (or Heaven-Earth-Human Luck). Different Five Element breakdown and different Name Luck Periods.
From these various areas, one will be able to see if a name is good or not.

A person's Name is often the name which is most called. Thus, is often said to be the most important thing for a person.
Thus, choosing a Chinese Name is one of the best way to correct try to increase whatever you lack in your Heaven Luck Ba Zi.
Thus, most people when born often likes to choose a good chinese name for the baby.
A good and suitable name will often compensate a person's Ba Zi Heaven Luck so that that person can continously have elements he or she lacks at any one time.

Generally, Ba Zi has two different aspects.
Ba Zi is used to determine your Heavenly Luck so as to match your Heavenly Luck to your Earth Luck. It allows you to personalise each person to your environment.
Ba Zi is also for Fortune Telling etc. ie. Trying to predict a person's fortune. However, there is a always a danger here of this AUTO-SUGGESTION.

A Strong Fire has 3 different favourable elements:-

So in fact you can use any of the above 3 different elements in different parts of your life to enhance your luck. 5. Your Chinese Name - a person's most called item which also suppose to help your ba zi Heaven Luck.
So these are the many areas which you should be trying to increase elements in different areas such as:-
ie a Strong Fire person, staying in an East facing house (Wood), Having a career in IT (Metal), while having a Spouse (weak Earth). Driving a Blue colour car (Water).
This is how to a achieve and maximise luck. It has nothing to do with much physical items such as jade etc. I mean if you like jade and it makes you feel good, by all means go ahead and get it.
However, in terms of Feng Shui point of view, it is not so much of such physical items that you should be going after, but rather trying to maximise your Heaven, Earth and Human luck. And among the 3 the Earth luck your home is ultimately the most important factor as it can superceed the Heaven Luck and even Human Luck.
Many times, lots of Feng Shui practitioner / masters always practice Human Luck (ie buy this and that so call 'feng shui item' like a $888 3 legged toad etc). However, these items does not give you magical or miracle improvement in luck. ie buying it does not mean you earn 10 times back.
Spending more time with your family and children (ie education them, will result in them being able to lead a good life and thus you will enjoy life later on from your children) - Thus, earning gains from your Human Luck (from a filial children who looks after his parents).

Yes, you are a Strong Fire. So you need to have more Earth.
Colours is the best way you can apply the five element to your life because cloths which cover more than 33.3% of your body, as well as any object is thus the best choice for applying feng shui.
The animal sign is another issue such as when looking for animal signs that clash, however, that is usually used in compatibility. Whereas Five Element give you a broad way of applying Feng Shui.
ie. Five Element can also be applied to the House ie North is Water house, South is Fire house etc.

This is because a Strong Fire has too much Wood and Fire already. So the elements which are most favourable to a Strong Fire is Earth because Fire feeds Earth thus allowing Earth to quickly exhuast the Fire.
Water is also another element to destroy Strong Fire. But Water is also a double edged element where Water also helps to strengthen your Wood. Thus, it's effect is less than the Earth which exhaust as well as destroy the Wood.

Thus the ideal element to help you is Earth. Followed by Water. Then by Metal.

In the past, all free ba zi reports had ONE limitation. That is the elements analysed are not COMPLETE (thus, it is done on the assumption that the element is WEAK). This has been always highlighted in the report due to lack of sufficient server processing power.
Thus, it was aimed only at providing you with the ELEMENT (wood, fire), and letting you deduce the element accordingly from the ba zi charts provided.
However, in recent website revamp, we had decided to do away with all these limitations. We had upgraded the basic Birth Element report to True Element report.
Thus, what you are getting is the FULL TRUE element analysis as in the PAID analysis. Everything such as the combinations and clashes are calculated. Thus, it is showing you not just the element (wood/fire), but more importantly whether you are weak or strong. However, the only limiting factor is that the report will not show you much of the analysis and explanation.
You will noticed that all FREE reports are no longer limited in any analysis.

Dear Users,
We have added the New Forum Interface to the Free Advice Forum.
Features
========
1. This interface does not need frames, thus making it easier to link the forum to the various public resources and member area.
2. This interface also has been improved to allow the system to remember the users automatically when they access the forum pages (without needing to re-login).
3. It will also provide us with the foundation for a new Knowledge Based resource site which will be tightly integrated to the Member Area and Public Area.
4. This is an additional interface to the existing frame version. So users can choose which interface they prefer to use.
5. Many of the external pages have been updated to access this new interface directly.
6. This will be the new layout for future forum access.
Other Enhancements

We have also started work to clean up some of the Member Areas reports. You will noticed certain limitations now removed from the Free Reports area.
We are also working to greatly integrate the Member Area and the new Forum such that you will be able to enjoy the Free Tools even more with integrated Resources to complement the existing site.

Dear Users,
We apologise to all users if they had encountered problems accessing our website or had trouble e-mailing to us in the past weeks.
There had been several problems on different areas of the server and PC (ie ISP maintenance work, server slowdown, our server maintenance work, plus a generally increase in unwanted traffic at our ISP - SPAM/Denial of Service attack etc) which resulted in several downtime or server slow down within the month of mid Mar/ early Apr.
So we actually took the past couple of days (since last Sat.) to do a massive maintenance work on our various and support PCs we use. Our e-mail support was affected as we took down our E-mail support Server to be re-installed etc.
We are glad that the various work done has improved the various area:-
1. Server Performance has been greatly improved while the Security against unwanted traffic (ie SPAM/Denial of Service etc) are also in place so as to reduce any impact of such activities on our server.
2. We had been defragging/tweaking/fixing the various hardware/software on our various servers.
3. New Dedicated Support Center Server that handle all inbound E-mail and Fax support was re-setup and re-organised. So that our various Support PCs now route our e-mail though this server.
Users can now be 100% assured that your e-mail will reach us and replies our e-mail in turn reach you. This is how it works:-
- All Inbound e-mail (support@geomancy.net) are assigned with GEO-TICKET and you should get an auto-reply (as soon as it is received by us).
- All Outbound e-mail we send are tracked to ensure that they get delivered out to your ISP Mail Server (after which it is the responsibility of that mail server to ensure it gets delivered to you).
- All outband e-mail has an auto-acknowledgement to let us know when you receive the e-mail. If not, we will usually re-send it after few days.
So our Dedicated Support Center will ensure that no e-mail gets lost in Cyberspace - which is happens even more frequently now due to many ISPs increasing their efforts to stop SPAM/UCE which often hinder proper e-mail delivery.
4. Improved monitoring of Server (ie allowing us to detect and correct problems on our server quickly, plus monitor the performance of the server to ensure you are able to access our website smoothly.)

Now that we have completed all these works, we will be focusing back on attending to your various e-mails and support and adding new website resources.
Should users be affected by these problems. ie. Did not get a reply back to us (within 7 days), it is best to re-send them to us for our attention.
As there were several problems which could have resulted in us not receiving your e-mails or not e-mails not reaching you, thus not being able to attend to your queries promptly.
Once again, apologise for the inconvienced caused during this period if you are in any way affected by it.
