where do l stand to get the correct reading with a compass, is it inside of my front door or on the outside of my front door? and does this apply to every room reading. Also what door do l take my reading from as l have a main front door to the block l live in. please advise as this is very confusing

At the moment in my living room, I have a good size tank that is in my romance area, reason being is that where the tank should have gone (in my wealth area) is the garden door. Please explain if this is ok if not where could be a possible position to put this tank in order for me to benefit.
