  1. The garden above the new HDB Havelock Road flats are still under-construction. But doesn't the roof top garden with it's distinct geometric design starting to look very lovely? I believe the first generation, new estate in Punggol (around 10 years ago) were the first few which had experimented with a roof garden on top of the multi-storey car-park. Instead of the car-park running up to the roof-top. Since, then, many older estates and the rest of the estates in Singapore, like this newer generation estates have a roof-top (not exactly sky garden...)
  2. Site Map Some of the external views from Oasis at Elias : majority of the photos over-looking Elias mall.
  3. Although the "spikes" are encased within a metal frame; try to avoid purchasinga resale unit if the metal horizontal frame cuts or "slice" into the unit's balcony or window(s)
  4. 1. Since you are more clear about the situation; for example, whether or not any renovations were done after Chinese New Year (Lunar Year) 2004; etc... 2. I am not sure what you mean by this statement: "awful three years since you are using period 7." Do you literally mean that after ploting using period 7, as a result you got awlful three years. And are you saying that you should have plotted using period 8's to find the best cures etc... 3. Hope you understand, your info is hazy and misty where most of us are reading between the lines where you wrote, below.. 4. In a text book case; if I somewhat interpret you; you can plot two charts using Period 7 and 8 (provided you used the correct facing direction) and see which is more accurate since, you have been staying there for at least three years or more.
  5. Yes, in my opinion, I would also consider the industry as belonging to the wood element. As it is very close to the word "Healing" (perhaps for some feeling better after the massage? For some.. they may be sore but relieved... after the massage?)
  6. 1. In my opinion, one of the Compass School of Feng Shui: Flying Star is about trying to determine the main entrance door to a home. 2. Thus, "listen carefully" it is trying to determine WHICH is the frontage. A frontage need not necessary be the main door or one of the two main doors etc... 3. For example, four door MPV has FIVE doors: 4 car doors and 1 rear boot door. If a car can have FIVE doors, even if one wants to have more doors in a home, this is fine. But the question, here is not how many doors one can have but rather, if one is applying Compass School; where should the frontage-main door is. 4. Another concept is to avoid a straight path from the "main door" (or whatever door you call it) should not open directly to the "back" of the house. 5. Thus, the more doors one have, and if one opens the door; make sure that it is not a direct path to an opening e.g. entry and exit in a straight line. 6. Another consideration is: look at the human anatomy: a normal homo-sapien has a face and ONLY one mouth. Thus, from a Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, no matter how one says that they have more than one main door; in THEORY, one should only have one MOUTH = akin to one main door. 7. To determine if an opening or main door (whatever) is ok or not; Feng Shui has to go thru the Triage. Thus, in real life a few lines of text cannot secure real answers. Someone must do a holistic review... otherwise, go and make a guess: "Your guess is as good as mine". 8. A stirling example is this recent posting:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=30781&new= 8.1. For example, a few simple lines of text and the poster expects a miracle CURE to happen. The saying goes "garbage-in, garbage-out"... Thus only the poster of the hazy messageknows what they are talking about. The rest of us are totally in the dark.
  7. You said: "but I have heard from others that, we can change the period of the house by moving out for at least one month then moving back in again. For example: my house was built about 1990 ... " As I had mentioned, previously, there are two schools of thoughts:- 1. The conservative school says: As long as the foundation remains, it is considered as belonging to that specific period. 2. In my opinion, what is you said seems too simple to be true. Or rather, I would tend to believe: "are you kidding? The saying goes... You can fool an adult but not a smart child!" How's that? 3. I would tend to believe that not many (if any) Feng Shui master's subscribe to what you had regurgitated out... "It is TRULY unbelievable"... 4. For example, there are instances where under the 2nd school of thought, removing the roof tiles for at least 100 days... plus plus... may change the period. The one month you mentioned is not even close to 100 days! Only 1/3 or 33.33333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333 percent of it!
  8. Yes, the Eight House theory is static and based on an individual's gender and year of birth. Some where in my older resources; there are templates for the various fixed templates on this subject.
  9. Since you mentioned that it occurs when the year, month and base are equal to #6 x 3; in my opinion, I take it that it does not appear all the time. As due to time dimensions, especially the month can change and for the year, a year passes so fast. Thus time dimensions need to be taken into consideration, here. Another view point is that in other sectors; without the #5, but if there was the #9 e.g. As the water or mountain star, such combinations of #6 will instead kill or neutralize a good star number.
  10. 1. In my opinion: most standalone blocks of apartments or "point blocks" are suppose to have better Qi then those "joint" together in a long curve or "L-shaped type of blocks. 2. What you mentioned: water building or partial metal: there are really no perfect answer to this. As some may even consider it a wood building by virtue that top down may be a tree trunk and or side-view like a tree trunk. A clover (top-down) view may be considered as a plant (leaf). 3. In general in reality or real life: the adage "one size fits all" is far from the truth. In fact; some buildings are a combination of two or more elements: metal-wood or metal-water-wood element. As for your third question, I don't have the time to dig out the layout to examine it.
  11. In my opinion, there are know circumstances where digging works were outside of the house but at the specific Five Yellow sector in that year. There were some instances where it had also affected the health of the people staying in that house even if the digging was done 100 metres away. I personally feel that best always to be more on the cautious or conservative side. If one is damn unlucky then, there is no reverse on this. Furthermore, around 7 to 8 weeks more; five yellow will go to South-East and Grand Duke will go to east-south-east at 120 degrees...
  12. In my opinion, these are some considerations:- 1. Often, homes with different levels have different built up space. And often the home "gets" narrower or less floor area as it "rises" up. Thus, the attic often has the lowest floor area. 2. In considering the center-point of the house, best to look or use the ground level to determine the centrepoint. 3. In my opinion, missing corners for the ground floor is an important consideration. Same often goes to the 2nd storey. Higher up, it depends. There is no one rule that fits all sort of thing.
  13. Please see attachment.
  14. In my opinion, this comes under symbolism in Feng Shui Simply place a red dot onto both door knobs to "allow each other to see eye to eye with each other" is The norm for this situation.
  15. In my opinion:- 1. Often, it is strongly recommended that the toilet/bath shares an external wall. 1.1. If so, it can never be in the centre or centrepoint of the house. 2. In many countries; even in Singapore, many modern landed properties have three levels and some even with a upper roof floor. 2.1. So all long as most of the toilets are at the same "place" or sector; I don't see why it is bad Feng Shui? 2.2. The idea is that the sewerage pipe(s) running into the home and also up to the upper floors are preferably e.g. one line up and one line down. 3. Thus rather than ask : IS there a cure? 3.1. It is more prudent to visually or imaginary "IMPOSE THE LOWER FLOOR PLAN" WITH AN UPPER FLOOR PLAN to check for e.g. Is my bed-head directly below the sewerage pipe? 3.2. Or is my stove directly below a sewerage pipe - this sort of thing. 4. Do a proper TRIAGE to check it out. And frankly, simply ask a question: Is there a CURE? 5. Even in Feng Shui; majority of the concepts are based on common sense or common sense driven.
  16. 1. In my opinion, rather than finding the elusive "cure"; (which often is non-existent, here) 2. The major concern would especially be that the STOVE or any other critical equipment in the kitchen is directly ABOVE a sewerage pipe / line.
  17. At first, I thought someone had forgotten to clean this pond as it is full of green algae! Oops! Was I wrong! This is suppose to be the pride of Waterfront Waves condo... an eco-pond... Hey! I am not against having an eco-pond... but.. do take a look at it...
  18. Sprouting Green Beans.. getting better and better?
  19. Some interesting photos of certain blocks e.g. 766 @ Waterfront Waves. Just TOP. Perhaps, this condo was named after the top-level "wavy" looking balconies? If given the choice, I would prefer to live in a unit where the upper unit's balcony curve outwards! If the balcony curve inwards, I know, when it is a wet, wet, high winds and rainy day; the rainfall would literally pour into "my unit"...
  20. Hmm... wondering what does this sign mean? "Sense of Taste?" Location: newly TOP Oasis at Elias condo in Pasir Ris
  21. 1. In my opinion; other than the colour and colour-tones in your illustration; 2. No. THREE would have the least "adverse" comments. 3. As I had mentioned previously, often in many situations; it has more to do with people's taste and how much adverse comments (if any). 4. Technically, no. will often not have any adverse comments. 5. The most subjective would therefore be no. ONE. 6. Again, there is no right or wrong answers, here.
  22. 1. In my opinion, this whole arena is considered under symbolism in Feng Shui. 2. For example, drawing a parallel; the first time that is considered a NO-NO is for a marriage couple; it is considered inauspicious to join two single beds to form a sort of queen-sized bed. 2.1. The two single beds symbolise more of a "split" or "divorce" sort of way. And imagine if the twin beds are on rollers; and if both partners were to do some vigourous activity on the bed; and if the middle put of the bed i.e. the two beds "split up". 3. It is the same concept as not having two equal mirrors facing a dining table as it will "split" the image into two (where there is a line across the middle). 4. Thus where possible or NICE-NOT-TO have a split in the middle of the e.g. queen or king sized bed. 5. As to having some patterns on the bed-head; it is considered as not CRITICAL; but rather, if possible, can avoid; things like a diamond shaped pattern would be nice-to avoid. 6. What you mentioned is very subjective. And what happens if friends or even one's partner makes some comments on it; and if many people start to make comments; some people may end up feeling not too good about having such a design on the bed-head. Not that critical but more towards man-luck factors.
  23. In general, not the best for placing a water position; but if you insists; make sure that it has all the five elements as mentioned in my earlier link: reference URL http://fountain.geomancy.net
