  1. In my opinion, there are two contrary view points: 1. The most common from a Flying Star Feng Shui is: often one hears this saying "Such a waste that the current prosperity is located in the kitchen". 1.1. For example, for the current period 8; instead of having the current prosperity especially double auspicious wealth sectors at the frontage; the current prosperity is "wasted" in the kitchen area. What a waste! 1.2. Here, if the double #8's can also be at the living room area; or area of activity where one can enjoy the influence of good qi. 1.3. For some, the kitchen and yard area can be "messy" and if the double #8s are located there; make sure that the kitchen area is tidy; and laundry (yard) as clean as possible: not saying that one cannot hang clothes, underwear or even bra at that area. Just make sure that it is "presentable". 2. From a Eight House concept; the best way to understand is the site for an auspicious gravesite. 2.1. Here, since the dead person is stationary; under the Yin concept of Eight House (Compass School) Feng Shui; it is always preferred that the dead is "sitting" at a good SECTOR e.g. head lying down facing a good sector vs someone sitting up facing a good sector.
  2. Loft bed for a 2.9 feet ceiling height condo
  3. These are additional photos of various loft beds in another condo cum SOHO (home office)development
  4. The oldest public housing development is located along Tiong Bahru area. The old airport road area type of public housing is considered second to the abovedevelopment. Fortunately, these quaint 1960's type of public housing has not being demolised along Dakota Crescent. These are "retained" for now... Because of it's close proximity to Singapore's first ever airport located near-by (currently People's Association along Nicol Highway; these flats are always up to a certain resticted height. Since the airport had moved to Paya Lebar and now to Changi airpot; newer development across the street e.g. Jalan empat etc... are high rise development. Not limited by the height restrictions of the ancient past.. anymore...
  5. These are some considerations: 1. Never use a standalone piece of glass or natural stones such as a piece of marble or granite to suspend an altar. 2. The best support "beam" for an altar should be made of wood (or plywood) material. 3. This is pure commonsense. If the standalone is a piece of glass; if the glass inadvertendly cracks; all the items on the altar would come crashing down. 4. There is no issue if the base of the altar is a wooden plank and a cut-out piece of glass placed onto this wooden plank to make it easier to clean the surface of the altar is fine or ok. 5. Usually if measured from the (completed) flooring to the TOP of the suspended altar is 49 3/4 inches.
  6. The fan in the attached photos have retractable blades. BUT of aFeng Shui friendlier design... This streamlineand elegant design is better than the earlier boomerang type of design. It looks more "femine".
  7. Under symbolism in Feng Shui: fans with boomerang type of blades should if possible be avoided especially it is facing the main entrance door or installed in a bedroom. The fan in the attached photos have retractable blades. For example, the blade would retract when the fan is not operational. And extend out fully when operational.
  8. The stall holder is admiring her stall.. YUP! the All GOD's Beverages... Most likely, those who drink her beverages would like ascend to Heaven!
  9. Well it is not exactly GOD's juice; but rather it is ALL GOD's BEVERAGES! See to believe! Some more there is this Guaranteed Certified on the extreme right side of the signage!
  10. Another queensized loft bed design...
  11. Captured some photos of well designed loft beds for a Home Office development in a new development...
  12. In my opinion, diamond (very hard substance) and gold (metal):- 1. This industry should belong to the Metal element. 2. If one is into marketing and sales of these items; then it Marketing or sales "guy" or "person" should be : Fire element.
  13. In general, technically, it also depends on whether one is an east or west group person.
  14. Please note that based strictly on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui:- 1. As far as possible the row of cupboards if they are moveable, is best to be placed against a wall instead of placed like a partition. 2. Thus if the cupboard is moveable; the curtains should also be removed. Unless, this is a passageway towards an attached toilet. 3. Once, especially this cupboard is "got rid" off; then it is much easier to place the bed. And not have "stagnant qi" at "corners" created by the cupboard that can obstruct proper circulation of air all around this bedroom.
  15. Just remember that there are three kinds of luck: 1. Heaven Luck (what you had found out) via Ba Zi. 2. Earth Luck (Feng Shui of home and office) 3. Human or Man Luck (relationships, family, bonding etc..) From a Ba zi perspective; harmonising one's element e.g. in her bedroom colours etc... Frankly, many people also don't have fantastic Heaven Luck but Para 2 and 3 would help greatly as each account for 33.3 percent of total luck.
  16. Majority of the photos are of the car park entrance side (facing 1st block 588A). Access through Ang Mo Kio St 52
  17. Another one of those "bird stories"... This time round, three birds trying to peck at left-over food. Location: Taman Jurong Market and Food Centre
  18. Oh dear! Do not tamper with the fans. Anyone doing so may be referred to the Police. What an unusual or rather "weird" signage! GOSH!
  19. Location: 588 x Ang Mo Kio Street 52. (For privacy, I have masked out the exact unit number.) Did you see a water melon hung in-front of the unit number plate. Did you also see two halves of a water melon. (Plus a lime cut-into-two pieces)Each half was placed on each side of the floor of the main entrance. A candle stick each was also placed and most likely lighted up when the family just moved-in. The red colour dye is most probably vermillion which is red in colour. And don't mistaken it for some ritual slaughter of an animal's blood. .
  20. This has to be one of the most beautiful "bouquet" of spouting green beans. Courtesy of a client: who recently obtained his keys at the DBSS Block 588 (a/b/c/d) Ang Mo Kio St 52 apartment...beautiful... What a lucky start!
  21. QUOTE: China's banks: `The fish always stinks from the head' China's chief banking regulator Liu Ming-Kang has a folksy way of explaining his work. "The fish always stinks from the head" is a favourite. This belief that regulation must focus on banks' head offices can be seen in China's zeal to enforce the Basel III rules. While there is talk in the United States and Eurpoe of easing the lquidity rules, the China Banking Regulatory Commission has been pushing ahead with a set of rules that is stricter in definitions than what has been agreed internationally...... -- UNQUOTE -- This reminds me of the same way Geomancer's view the "Head of the House" or rather; the Head of the house consists of very important organ i.e. the MOUTH of the house! Go imagine futher....
  22. The resource relating to the same type of situation can be found, here:- Flying Star Feng Shui as a Diagnostic Tool In life there are more tools than just the personal Gua or Kua.
  23. Some resources on this subject can be found, here: Kitchen Stove & More and Kitchen Door Is Facing A Bathroom Door
  24. 1. There are four blocks in this development: 588A, 588B, 588C and 588D. 2. Each block has two units that directly face the car-park and parallel to Ang Mo Kio Street 52. These apartments based on Streetdirectory map (onemap.sg) is at 15 degrees facing. 3. The rest of the units or stacks either face 154 degrees and/or 195 degrees. 4. This is based on the street directory map + protractor method. 5. All street directory maps be it digital or satellite maps are all based on geographic North or TRUE NORTH. 6. In Singapore; one need not compensate for the Magnetic North deviation or delination. As the TRUE NORTH is for Feng Shui purposes equal to the Magnetic North. 7. Often, prior to going to do a on-site survey; I will prepare a layout such as shown in the attachment. 8. For this four blocks, it can be clearly seen thru the outline that probably, there are three facing directions: 15 degrees or 154 degrees or 195 degrees. 9. This reading will be matched with the on-site reading using the Luo pan and the various compass in one's arsenal. 10. I find that this is a productive and efficient method of preparation; prior to the first visit or survey. 11. The alternative for such new developments is to obtain the siteplan in the sales brochure and manually match the protractor and measure the degrees off it!
