Site Plan General Feng Shui Issue
These are some considerations:- 1. In my opinion; although your concept can be applauded as it allows "staggered" greenery; but from a External Shapes and Forms Feng Shui; it is a "time-bomb" or there are lots of porcupine needles. 2. Here, under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, the edge of a building is suppose to act like a poison arrow aimed towards it's neighbour. 3. For example, there are simply too many "porcupines" or spikes; thus randomly; you can see "sha qi" or poison arrows in RED aimed from the edge of a building towards it's neighbour. 4. For example, take the look at the slanted club-house; it is at an angle; where the edge of the corner seems to point directly towards a neighbour home. 5. Frankly, there are just too many of these "porcupines"; thus, I just simply marked a few out of a "ton" of them. 6. No wonder; your masterplan unfortunately gets the "boot!'. It will not pass! 7. Personally, I have done so many masterplan and in the attachment is one of the many I done for Vietnam. 8. And yes, although the townhouses and residential homes and villas are in rows upon rows.. this is a very common feature! In the attached PDF, the terrace and semi-detached homes are in an orderly arrangement. Originally; the developer also had something like your porcupine layout... 9. Your proposal is something like this:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=6&mid=29103&new= There is an illustration of a home that sticks out like a sore-thumb amongst standard rows of flat. 10. I am afraid; this should be bea culture shock of sorts for you. Your master plan; thus cannot pass under the "Shapes and Forms Feng Shui" that's why most likely... 11. The morale of the story? Don't hope that it will ever be accepted! Spent your midnight oil and Change it! Nowadays, everywhere, not just the Chinese are trying to build Feng Shui friendly homes...

Site Plan General Feng Shui Issue
Further to what I had mentioned, under the link below; the triangle roofs are considered as a "poison arrow" and they can aim towards another building or neighbouring townhouse or even villa... http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=19&mid=27624&new=

Site Plan General Feng Shui Issue
In addition. 1. Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui; a triangular roof can be considered as a poison arrow. 2. See attachment. 3. If the neighbouring blocks are parallel to each other and face it other identical; for example marking Y and Z shows that the two blocks are aligned exactly the same; thus even if it's triangular roof is a poison arrow; it cancels each other out. 4. While for markings A and B; the blocks are not aligned so is C and D. Thus, C's triangular roof shoots a poison arrow towards D's and vice versa. 5. Thus, if the development is or was built; and usually if it is not Feng Shui friendly; many of such units are hard up to be sold. 6. I have quickly added more "porcupines" into this masterplan. There are more.. too many.. phew! 7. Good innocent concept; but ain't gonna work for the all time Feng Shui concepts... frankly, just won't do... unfortunately!

Compatbility
Applying the concept of "The Holy Trinity" of Luck:- 1. Heaven Luck = ba zi : this includes both of you being strong earth 2. Earth Luck = Feng Shui of home and office 3. Human Luck (or man luck) = relationship with each other. Mathematically, each of the above three luck = Heaven Luck = 33.3333 percent Earth Luck = 33.3333 percent Human Luck = 33.3333 percent Overall, I have always mentioned: some people are not blessed with good Heaven Luck and in your case; the two partners are strong earth person. Thus, one should try to squeeze out luck from earth and/or Human luck. Sometimes; some people also have average Earth luck or Feng Shui. So how; commonsense or cowsense says that there are lots of people; who don't have both heaven and earth luck; but; they have good family bonding etc.. and this third category called Human or Man luck factors is in essence = RELATIONSHIP building... Got it, get it?

altar location
These are some considerations: 1. When did you last position the altar; there. 2. For example, if you had say moved in many years ago e.g. 6 years ago; and had the altar at that spot for many years; then : "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" applies. 3. If you have just moved-in and realised that the location may not be good; then; you have to consider if there are any acceptable or good alternative (or not?) If there is not a "better" location; then this current location is considered the "lesser of the two evils". 4. In general; overall; it is still best not to place the altar even if the wall behind it is the niche where one takes a bath. Again; do refer to Para 2 and Para 3; above.

Compatbility
This came from the first page of my website: lovesigns.net:- The nature of love is one of the great mysteries of life. "One way you can improve your relationship and love life by understanding one another's personality." Many of us, after reading something.. e.g. the characterists of a "pig" and may even consciously or unconciously act out the role of a "pig". If so, the above statement in BLUE, should be a 'counter' to auto-suggestion. Thus, if one feels that the Chinese zodiac signs lead us to fear our opposite; one could instead; use this adversity in a positive manner; by reading up the "traits" of say both our sign to better understand the tempermanet and behaviour of the other party! That is how; I personally realistically feel that this is a better model.
-
Compatbility
Further to what I had mentioned:- 1. The adage: "Love is blind" .... 2. Sometimes; it is best not to relate or look into the area of compatibility; as often the dangers are:- 2.1. Auto-suggestion For example, if we scold a rabbit or a sheep; it is none the wiser. But if the couple has a major quarrel; one never knows; one may even bring up the issue of "compatibility" and doubt may set i. 2.2. Self-fullfilling prophecy It may literally come true! 3. Best advice is if both of you really are in love and make that life long commitment; don't look back at "such things" Chinese zodiac signs etc...

Compatbility
These are some of the considerations:- 1. Based on one's Year of birth; yes, in the attached picture diagram; every six years, the animal sign facing each other is suppose to be the "worst pairing":- http://www.lovesigns.net/horoscope/horoscope.htm 2. We can't change the basic Chinese Astrology / Zodiac sign means of suggesting the above "worst" paring. Thus, in the attached diagram; correspondingly; the rat's worst pairing is that of a horse. 3. The good news; is that the above; today, is equivalent of "kindergarten" type of Chinese Astrology as it is based soley on one's YEAR of birth. 4. Tze Wei Tou Shou is quite similar to Ba Zi; and for ba zi; the inputs are even more : 4.1. In order to create a ba zi chart; it is compulsory to have: DD / MM / YYYY . Time of birth is good but if not available; still acceptable. 5. Thus; Chinese astrology needs only one field: Year of birth; Ba zi needs at least three variables: Day / Month / Year (and even Hour of birth). 6. For example; best to further check compatiblity is via one's ba zi. For example: Anyone can be born in a specific year e.g. 1980. But in that year, there are so many variables: Strong Metal or Weak; Strong Water or Weak; Strong Wood or Weak; Strong Fire or Weak; Strong Earth or Weak. 7. For example, if you are considered as a weak wood; but your spouse is a strong water person. Here, even if both of you are either a pig or a snake; under the five elements concept: strong water supports weak wood. Thus based on the bazi; this two persons: are considered to be very compatible. As a weak wood person; gets support from a strong water person. And a strong water person; can have weak wood to draw out the too much water; making the strong water = balanced out...

Where to commit suicide? a one-way ticket
This postcard was taken in the 1970's. Therefore, there were few tall buildings. The tall buildings on the right of the photos like People's Park Complex and other buildings were only constructed after the 1970's.. Previously; the building covered by clay (reddish) bricks was the only tallest building around in the 1960's. It is the forerunner of the now Housing Development Board (HDB). And guess what... it is a diving platform for a one-way trip to HELL! In the past;?one could often?see an old lady standing on the road cursing at the building. Why? That was the building where her son tried to be a superman.. but failed miserably.. or rather fatally!

Water Feature in NE for Period 8
These are some of the considerations: 1. Yes, in theory or on paper; based on Flying Star Feng Shui; for a P8 SW2, the water star #8 is at NE (sitting position). 2. But even for Flying Star Feng Shui; it is not like one size fits all sort of thing. 3. If the back of the house is "enclosed"; it does not make sense to place a water position. Although, one may still (if one wants to) an urn; to catch rain. But make sure that it is does not become stagnant water for mosquito breeding. 4. If the home has say a 2nd storey; especially after a rain; allow the windows to be opened to refresh air/qi. 5. Sometimes water #8 can be activate by making sure that the place is bright and airy. And /or a place of activity e.g. in some homes the back of the compound is quite large and one can even have a garden santuary at say the NE location.

A Best House to Select
This is usually how a Can or Cannot Buy House Hunting (Guildline) Report looks like.. The report looks at the main breadwinner and analyses the various stars, combinations, suitability with housewith ba zi suitability. A Best House to Select
These are some of the considerations:- 1. In my opinion; the major key success factor is : Location, location and location. 2. The most sensible thing one should do; like the majority of people is: to bring your partner and or the entire family to the proposed new home. 3. In fact, Para 2; is always what most of us do until some "discovered" Fung Sway! 4. Just imagine; majority of us depend on our instincts to purchase a home. And in fact; majority have been successful. 5. When one starts or try to make sane of so many Feng Shui and even Bazi concepts; here; the yearn for the perfect home is injected into our head. 6. In a house hunting report; there is the overview of the 15 directions and which directions are very good; good; so-so; inauspicious based on the Flying Star + another variable = when the home is/was built. 7. Unless one is applying Ba zi Feng Shui; then one has to evaluate Para 6 with your best directions. And some apply Ba zi Feng Shui. If so, with more variables; as you had found out... for a novice; or not an expert in the Can or cannot buy field; it is trying to walk into a mine-field and home that one does not step onto a mine. 8. In general:- 8.1. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui: Location, location and location is of paramount importance. 8.2. Next greater weigthage is to the Flying Star Feng Shui 8.3. As for the eight house; if Para 8.2. is an excellent house; then for the breadwinner; the facing direction can be "irritation" or "spook" vs "death" or "disaster"; And other considerations include; looking into the sector(s) how best does family member's fit. 8.4. The dreaded afternoon sun is still a major consideration 8.5. Another consideration is Bazi Feng Shui. Some geomancers consider that since Bazi has more inputs: and in a very detailed bazi : DD/MM/YYYY and Time is included; thus; some geomancers say this has a higher weighage than just the Eight House. As this Eight House thing has fewer variable inputs e.g. Year of birth as the consideration. 9. Thus, under 8.5. the concept of G.I.G.O. may be a consideration. Since Bazi uses so many detailed information (even without the time of birth) it is still considered fairly accurate vs say the Eight House. 10. The only senario is that unfortunately, bazi results often differs. Thus, there are many geomancers that can get your bazi wrong, also. So, if your bazi is analysed wrongly; then.. so is the results. 11. Thus this goes back to Para 2. above. This is the most practical method!

Re-align Main Door for N2 House
i) Can I tweak the main door to face North East which is located in North, so that the main door direction is favorable to me?>> I was staying in a single storey link-house which built in year 2005, where the main door is located at North 2 and also facing North. As I was a West group Kua 7, where main door facing North is not favorable, according to Ba Zhai i) Can I tweak the main door to face North East which is located in North, so that the main door direction is favorable to me? ii) Do I still enjoy the Flying Star double 8 in my North 2 facing house, should my main door located in North has been alter to face North East? Thank you in advance for your advice.

Tilting Main Door 8 Degrees to S2.
Frankly, look at it this way, you are there to take a reading and you did say that your reading of the facade was something like S1. I have already mentioned my views on tilting a door e.g. from S1 to S2. Overall; no geomancer is on the ground. Thus, the ball is on your court. If your reading is accurate; fine. But if it is G.I.G.O. then really.. (full stop) P.S. For new members; what is G.I.G.O. can be found under this sample link:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=27534&new=

China TEN (10) Years from now....
In 2021; most of us who had spent our holidays in China in the 2011's would reminiscent how CHEAP China was. In 2021; I believe; the Chinese currency will be much stronger than the US currency.....
-
China TEN (10) Years from now....
In 2031 onwards... this will most likely be the senario Here's the "good news"... If you can understand the two graphics; clap; clap; clap.... you do have a higher "Shapes and Forms" factor i.e. better abstract understanding... If you don't seem to understand these two imagines; so sorry; either you have an extremely low IQ in the abstract area or you better stick to your FLYING STAR Feng Shui!

Shop Number confusion
These are some considerations:- 1. Your posting of this thread into "Earth Luck: Flying Star (Xuan Kong)" Feng Shui conference. 2. Please note that Flying Star (Xuan Kong) is one of the two Compass School of Feng Shui model / concept. 3. The other Compass School Feng Shui is the Eight House or East/West Group Feng Shui. 4. Given the above "clue" what has lot number got to do with the above? None! 5. In addition:Flying Star (Xuan Kong) Feng Shui can be sub-divided further into TWO models/concepts:- 5.1. Horizontal Flying Star Feng Shui 5.1.1. This is the usual 20 Year Flying Star Chart. And this is the most used of the Xuan Kong concept. 5.2. Vertical Flying Star Feng Shui 5.2.1. This is based on the idea that qi is different at different heights or storeys. Thus an apartment at say 5th storey is different from one that is at 9th storey etc.... 6. Again; what has lot numbers to do with either Horizontal and/or Vertical Flying Star Feng Shui? Nothing; Yes, totallyZERO; no relationship at all with lot numbers. 7.Under Numerology be it in Western Astrology;Chinese name / strokes etc.. there are thousands of numerologly methods. Thus, one method may saythat the new lot number is auspicious; while another may say that it is really bad? So which numerology concept you want tobelieve in?

Tilting Main Door 8 Degrees to S2.
These are additional comments: 1. How many of us have come across situations where "cheap" to some may IMPLY inferior quality. 2. There are always a percentage of people or persons; who felt good having being told that "don't worry" or you have to follow "my advice" and tilt the door to a certain direction. 2.1. To some of these people; the "wow" factor comes into play or the feel good or man luck factor comes in. 2.2. Thus, cannot blame this group if the geomancer seems confident that tilting the door is the mother of all their "cures or worries". 2.3. Thus, psychology is in action: If it makes the owners feel good (better human luck) comes into play. 3. Perhaps; this group of people; if they met us; where we say; this is temporary or something like that. Some people would say "You are damn lousy". The other geomancer is better! or best! He says can be done! 4. Some of us; just want to hear ONLY the good news! And nothing else! Got it? Get it? 5. Thus if you really feel refreshed after hearing a YES; then go for it! It is only your money!

Tilting Main Door 8 Degrees to S2.
1. Frankly, even amongst geomancers; this question is not easily answered. 2. As some geomancer's have such a habit! For example; all their lifes; they have advised their clients that tilting the door is beneificial. Just imagine; a chain smoker. If one asks a chain smoker to refrain from smoking; all of us know the consequences... ain't easy. 3. Thus, in my opinion; this topic is rather subjective. 4. Therefore; since you asked me this question; you can say that I belong to the camp where:- 4.1. Overall; if your purpose is to try to change the facing from S2 to S1; then this can only be temporary. As ultimately; often; it will revert to the full or actual facing of the home. 4.2. A few months ago; one forum user asked whether would it be good to tilt the entire face of their home... I believe I draw a caricature of the home = easily stick out like a sore thumb in a neighbourhood with uniform facing homes. 4.3. Titling the door may be acceptable if it is directly facing a pillar or (wall). And for the advanced concept of "Castle Gate". This Castle gate theory is not for the novice. A highly skilled geomancer would be able to look into this area: especially for large buildings or business such as a hotel etc... 5. Frankly, if you were to approach some other practitioners who literally make their living giving suggestions to "tilt the home"... they may not share some of my views. 6. Again don't ask me; which camp is right or wrong. It is like a debate. In a debate; there are always two camps! Even in any war; there are two sides: World War Two: the Allies vs the Axis powers; North Vietnam vs US + South Vietnam etc... Alternatively; flip a coin: Heads or Tails! 7. There are other "tilting" methods not for the lay person. Such as placing a "special" copper or bronze metal rod; at a specific angle below the main door. Again; this is part of symbolism and one more of the methods to the "tilting" madness of Fung Sway!

Reflections at Keppel' is coming up... er nicely
One thing is for SURE! Reflections at Keppel don't look anything close to this illustration RIGHT? Anyway, who cares! I repeat: Tower Blocks even if they look like S-H-I-T; ain't SHIT! At least they are better than most other non-tower block type of homes... Get it? Got it?
