He was often frustrated that he was not able to serve them. He then carved wooden statuette of his parents and placed them on the altar for worship. He ofttered incense and sacrifices to them everyday as though they were alive. After a while his wife became more and more disrespectful towards the wooden images. One day, she took a needle and playfully priced the finger of the image. Seeing the blood flowed from the pricked finger, the wife panicked. When Ding Lan came home and saw tears fell from the statuette's eyes, he was very shocked an mystified. He enquired and found out what happened. He then divorced his wife.

This bridge is called the dragon bridge as it has a pair of dragons guarding the entrance to the temple.

These are some of the considerations: 1. It also depends on culture and race. 2. For example, the traditional Chinese family, will never place an urn of a beloved dead family member in our home. The most we do is in it's place an ancestor tablet. 3. Of course, must discount some modern Chinese animal lovers who may keep their family pet's urn. Otherwise, we simply don't place an urn of dead family member(s) in our home. 4. Perhaps, you could follow some of the commonsense and practices: 4.1. We avoid placing the altar sharing the same wall as the toilet. 4.2. Often the best place for an altar is where it sits "peacefully" overlooking a window etc... Here, the Chinese term is "sitting on mountain (solid wall) facing water (an open view). 4.3. For the Indians or Hindus, often they have a room e.g. such as a modified store room to house all their gods. 4.4. Best that the urn do not face a kitchen or a bedroom of sorts. 4.5. There are many more considerations such as even the height, depth and width of the "altar table". 5. More importantly, go with your heart, usually instinctively most of us would have a good feel where to place the urns. 6. Lastly, cremation (turning to ashes) is considered a neutral thing. Thus, this is why, some simply scatter the ashes into the sea.

1. Please do a search at the top left frame of this forum for "red car" etc... 2. In the past, I had posted several write-ups that mentioned that insurance companies (societies) had statistics to show that red car was prone to more accidents than other colours. 3. Further to what I had mentioned, the yellow area could bea protusion.

In my opinion, it is better to activate a water position at the frontage of the apartment; Since there is already a large body of moving water in your apartment; actually, whether water flowing left to right or right to left have a bearing to the apartment. Plus whether it is flowing parallel to the home (apartment block) or "slicing" it also matters. If the water flow is correct, (this needs some investigation) then an additional water feature at your water #1 star location may not be necessary. Thus it depends. activating a water feature at the central palace depends also. As sometimes a water position at the central palace is akin to the iching concept of water = difficulty. And sometimes a water postion at the central palace is trapped or causes "difficulty".

In my opinion, from the rough sketch, sometimes what may seem to look like a missing corner (s) may instead be a protusion. I may be wrong, as this sketch does not show the interior layous especially of the ground floor. But , if one look closely at the 2nd storey layout plan, to me, this may be the actual profile to be used for both the ground level and 2nd storey. If so, then that small squarish protusion at the ground level could instead be a protusion.

In my opinion, if your office is on the 17th storey, the external building (and it's spine) and the mrt tracks are not considered a poison arrow or a sha qi. In fact, if there is really a threat, it could be the lamp post as shown in the attachment - especially for lower floors. Since you are at 17th storey, it is impossible for this lamp post to be a poison arrow. Concentrate on improving the Feng Shui of the interior of the office, instead.

In my opinion, these are some of the considerations: 1. Currently at this stage, it is anyone's guess whether it is good or bad. 2. As Feng Shui has it's tools to analyse such things. 3. Thus your statement is currently a question-mark. 4.You may choose to do nothing; and there are no major issues; if it ain't broken don't fix it.

There were also geomancers that ask their clients to literally place the bed-head against a fullwindow as they were applying Eight House Feng Shui. 2.1. What you mentioned has more to do with pschology then anything else. Some people may feel uneasy or feel unsecure as they may feel that someone may be peeping into their bedroom - even when the entire windows are opaque. 3. Froma Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, your bed-head is still against a solid wall - good or OK. 4. Furthermore; in a sense; more light can pass thru that specific bedroom. If it is not direct sunlight; e.g. light filtering in is good.

These are some considerations:- 1. In my opinion, your question is like ebony and ivory: 20 year or annual (full stop). 2. There are a-lot of considerations even if one wants to say which is more powerful. 3. As mentioned under Para 2, there are indeed ALOT of other considerations. Thus for annual or annual cures, it depends on individual homes and the result may not be similar for every Tom, Dick or Harry. Other factors include: Heaven luck, man or human luck factors, philantrophy, education da da da .de de de da da... 3.1. In theory, of course, based on the most timely stars, logically, an academic would claim that annual is "more powerful". Even so, this is considered short term as it is 1 year or LESS. Geomancers if we continously tout annual stars are "more powerful" would be filthy rich! 5.1. Just imagine, every year, I have 500 more clients. And just 10 percent take up my annual service; on top of existing clients... 5.2. In my opinion, for every new 1,000 clients; only 15 or less may consider an annual review. So "how powerful is the annual assessment if few take up such a service". They may DIY, but very few would do it religiously year after year. 6. Go check how a geomancer uses the 20 year flying star to balance a home. 7. Like I mentioned, results of say using the annual star may not be the same for everyone. One simple example is: some homes have excellent Flying stars while others have what we call many sectors scattered with bad stars all over. 8. In conclusion: IT DEPENDS!

These are some of the considerations: 1. Besides the stove directly facing the kitchen entrance; does it face e.g. the main entrance door or a bedroom door? (It is also inauspicious if it faces an altar) 2. If the stove faces the kitchen entrance ONLY; and for practical reasons, one cannot relocate the stove; then; at least this is not as bad as above Para 1. 3. Thus, what could be worse especially with Para 1. 4. Frankly, for practical reasons, most of us don't always open and close the kitchen door on a daily basis. 5. Furthermore, in a proper Feng Shui audit, the ba zi of the female of the house is looked at in relation to the position of the stove. And sometimes relocating the stove could inadvertently place it at an inauspicious location/direction.

Ask any billionaires and many still live in the same home where they prospered.
