Shape of House and Front Wall
Further to what I had mentioned: Given that many of us have a "freedom" of choice:- 1. Not one but many different houses 2. If possible; try to avoid (if possible) avoid choices that looks like a U or L.

Shape of House and Front Wall
1. For Can or Cannot buy; often, someone will ask me "Is this house favourable (to me?)? 2. In my opinion; such a question is like trying to throw stones and hope that it hits something. 3. Realistically; in order to make a judgement; often the proper question(s) are:- 3.1. How is this house compared to my existing home? and/OR 3.2. How is this house compared to house A, B and C. 3.3. Thus, how to compare a MONO (single) home with (what)? 4. Thanks for the sketch. VERY ROUGHLY, it seems that it should either be a U-shape house. Of course, without say photos; Can't really tell whether it is a proper U or L shape. 4.1 As some walkways have openings while others don't have. If it has openings, then air could flow thru.. 4.2 Thus, maybe in this case, it could be a L shaped home. Whatever it is, U or L shaped homes ranked LOW under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui (if we set aside the Flying Star - another set of considerations).

Correct use of 6 rod hollow metal windchime
In my opinion, the base star is less of an importance. Thus both the mountain and water star is often looked at more closely;

Sink in North Sector....Is it draining Wealth???
Frankly, Feng Shui is a holistic approach. And without going thru any Triage or trouble-shooting; it is not fair to pin-point the sink as the culprit (be it major or minor). As I had mentioned, previously:- 1. Shapes and Forms: not just the four walls of your home; the exterior does play an important and vital role in the Feng Shui of a home. 2. Often, a home has around more than 3 or 4 major leaks to cause a drain. 3. Kindergarten Feng Shui; In the past, such practices prevail. Where North = career etc... But this is 2011. Such practises should not be recurring. Thus unless a proper Triage or investigations is done; no one really knows the main cuase of your "leak"

Auspicious date different from Chinese calendar
How is our Auspicious Dates Analysed? Please be advised that our Auspicious Dates are choosen based on the following factors:- Key Alamac influence - is considered (ie whether day clashes / harms / punishes with the current year). Note: This isn't the most important influence as this only denotes a generate day's influence. ie even if the day itself is good or bad it does not mean that everyone on this planet will enjoy the same auspicious or inauspicious influence. ie tung shu/alamac day is inauspicious Wood Rat day, but if the person is Strong Water person, this day benefit that person a lot more. Suitability to Ba Zi - Whether the day is suitable to the ba zi is very important, as a inauspicious Tung Shu / Alamac date does not mean it won't benefit the person. Combinations or Clashes to Ba Zi - Whether the day is suitable to the ba zi is very important, as a inauspicious Tung Shu / Alamac date does not mean it won't benefit the person. Special Significance - Whether the day is like Qing Ming etc. Most people choosing wedding dates would not want to marry in Qing Ming month. Overall Analysis - Suitability to ba zi of one or two person, whether any clashes, any overall significance plus finally tung shui/alamac influence. Often it is very hard to find one that can fix all factors, so as long as most influence are considered auspicious, that is a good day for you. Because our dates considers the above factors, as such the dates analysed are extremely personalised to individual person(s) as it considers the individual Ba Zi. This means the dates are your very own individual good or bad dates. As such, no one/two person(s) will have the same good or bad dates. As such, the dates analysed for you will not necessary be similiar to a general Tung Shu forecast which usually does not consider the individual's bazi. Therefore, even if the Tung Shu forecast says that it is a good day, but if your own bazi clashes with the day, it may not be as good as a less auspicious Tung Shu date but more suitable or does not clash with your bazi. This holds true for wedding dates, move-in dates and dates for any auspicious events. Thus generic is being too simplistic. How can a single date be inauspicious for everyone? Might as well the nation declare a curfew and keep everyone from doing a specific activity.

Bed headrest directly below 3rd floor toilet...
These are some considerations: 1. Both toilet directly above bed-head and kitchen below bed are considered as "commonsense" Feng Shui. 2. Why? 2.1. Fire rise-upwards. And there are concerns of a firebreaking out in the kitchen and fire rising towards the masterbedroom (bed area)= kinda of like being cooked. 2.2. What is worse if the piping is directly above the bed. If it does leak... think aboutwhat kind of juice will flow downwards towards the bed.

You wrote: "My only problem is, they are charging 3k+" This is not your only problem. In my opinion, it is BULL-SHIT.

Height of Kitchen Counter
1. The stove is traditionally positioned lower than the sink in most cases. 2. In Singapore, there are over 3,000 condominiums and landed properties where the stove and sink are often at the same height, so the sink being higher than the stove is not a major concern. 3. Following the example from the previous point, it is possible to have both the sink and stove at the same level. 4. Many condominiums opt for a stove cum sink table top that is around 34 inches in height. 5. It is recommended to use 34 inches as the standard table height, as it is the most practical choice. However, 33 inches can also be considered. 6. To be on the safe side, 34 inches is a good option, as it allows for a margin of error in case the contractor makes a mistake. 7. Any height between 33 inches and 35 inches is considered acceptable for the stove cum sink table top. In Summary " The main point of the text is that the traditional concern of having the sink higher than the stove is no longer a primary concern, especially in Singapore where many condominiums have the sink and stove on the same level. The recommended standard table height for the stove cum sink is 34 inches, providing a safe range of 33 to 35 inches to accommodate potential contractor mistakes or variations. " Cecil Lee, Geomancy.net PostScript: For the installation of a standard sized built-in dishwasher, it is important to ensure that the height of the table-top falls within the range of 35" to 36" inches in order to accommodate the appliance. This requirement also applies to the installation of a front loading washing machine in a similar slot.

Symbolic move into new house before 7th month
These are some considerations: 1. The most important key consideration is: how desperate one is to move-in? 2. For example, if one has no constrains such as "forced" to move on or the 7th lunar month; then try to move-in after that month. 3. But, if one no choice; then to play safe; the act of sleeping in the new home would be a better choice. 4. Thus, if you can or may do all the things; but also sleep one night (or place a set of both partner's night clothing on each side of the bed) and also try to cook (and if can bathe, sleep and cook) would be an added bonus before the 7th month.

What element is Stock Exchange in Feng Shui and Five Elements Concept
In general, there is no right or wrong answer. As this is a relatively new occupation or industry. Some may consider those directly on the Stock Exchange floor - stock brokers / remisers as the Fire element (marketing or sales of shares). Underwriters of shares could be considered as belonging to the metal element. For example, a Banking group underwrites the shares.

Wedding Mural @ a feature wall - local restaurant
This feature wall showing a procession of a traditional Chinese wedding. The feature wall is part of a restaurant's welcoming mural. Location: Vivo City. Very unique mural. Symbolically; the procession seems auspicious. As it looks like a crowd of people "marching" into the restaurant! Thus, seems meaningful.

West sector of the house for water feature or pond
These are some of the considerations: 1. Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, West sector is considered as belonging to the "white tiger". And based on this concept; it is not good to have a water feature especially one that resembles a "hungry mouth" such as a circular water position, here. 2. The other is Flying Star Feng Shui. As many are well aware; Flying Star depends on time dimensions. Thus, it is not so simple as asking can I place a pond or waterfall there (west). Flying Star also needs to know the "period" and also best to plot an "accurate" Flying star chart to determine the flying star numbers at that sector.....

Red Wallet
The Chinese luck system is based on three factors: Heaven, Earth, and Human Luck. Whether a red wallet is suitable depends on considering all three of these factors together. According to the Five Elements concept, it is generally acceptable for someone with a strong Earth element to use the color red.

Red Wallet
In my opinion, you might as well use this ring-tone. And whenever your phone rings; (pretend) to take out your RED wallet

Red Wallet
1. "It's all in the mind". 2. Anyway, to a Chinese red is always (suppose) to be an auspicious colour. 3. Again, one of the reasons why many Chinese restaurants use chilli red in their decor .. some say is similar to what you had mentioned! Suppose to "make one hungry" that was one fable mentioned with this colour. 4. Fortunately, you were not born during my time... if so; if you were to be walking on the streets; the Internal Security Department of SGP (ISD) were very active then; and they may mistaken you for a COMMY (communist). Carrying Mao's Red book. 5. But if transported to China in the 1960's to 1970's it would be different.. you could end up as a Hero! And promoted to the levels of Party Cadre! 6. Hahaha! Today is 2011. Even if you decare that you are a COMMY... no one will ever believe in you! They most likely think that you are (no offence) "Ah Gua".... 7. Anyway... it is all about feeling good factor! If you feel excellent or good flashing the red wallet; by all means! HINT: In addition; this is a good sign as.. you can also say that you are working towards getting that Prancing Horse ride! It's red goes well with your red wallet!

Red Wallet
Based on the Five Elements Concept; yes in theory for a strong metal person; under the "destructive element" Fire helps a strong metal person. Thus, what you you mention is acceptable. It would be inauspicious if the person is a weak metal person. Off-the track remarks: Based on stereo-typing; many of us would perceive this person as a female. Asin most ofour mind; which male person would carry red wallet. However, your login name suggests otherwise Reference: http://talk.geomancy.net

Kua sitting and main door facing directions
1. Please note that the report considers three factors: Eight House, Flying Star and Ba Zi of the breadwinner. 2. Yang Feng Shui or Feng Shui for the living; the facing direction is important. 3. For Yin Feng Shui or Feng Shui for the dead; then refer to what you mentioned, below. 4. The Flying Star Period 7 applies; only thing is that under Period 8; the #8 are important for this period. Majority of the time; each sector will still depend on the 81 combinations or interactions of the Mountain star vs the Water star.

Concerned: his MIL passed away in it...
These are some considerations: 1. You did not mention how his MIL died. 2. Usually, if it is old age or common ailments such as a heart attack or even terminal cancer etc... In my opinion, there is no major concern with it. 3. In my country; 80 percent of the time; the body (was) cremated. And if it is via cremation; even best as cremation is neutral vs burial. 4. Anyway, frankly, all of us one may must perish. And as mentioned; if it is through natural death; then most of the time no issue.

Fu Lu Shou figurines
In my opinion, although the workmanship as you mentioned is outstanding; From my personal experience; I strongly believe; that it may be a "newer" version is that I only seen the dark (chocolate coloured) faces or skin-toneturn-up around 20 to 30 years ago. In addition; the older "antiques" of Fu Lu Shou were not as elaborate as the ones you had. Usually, again I believe the older ones all have beautiful natural coloured faces that mimic natural skin tone colour. Furthermore, what makes me think that it is new is the mandarin character on the first figurine (which is Shou) - which is often not found on antiques and the character is not as well "written". Thus, in the past, especially such figurines that were 50 to 60 years old - I have never seen "chocolate coloured faces or skin-tone. Well, I may be wrong.
