Wedding & Honeymoon on 08.08.08
Let's arrange marriage for our children on 08.08.08! Even Chinese who have been under Communist Rule no longer feel or belief that marriage in the Chinese 7th Lunar month is inauspicious!

Positive effects of Negative Ions....
The best water feature is natural! A real waterfall is good because when water falls, water frictions with the air to create negative ions. Negative ions, will bond and neutralise positive ions..... Nothing beats real water-fall...

Redwood Trees next to house
1. Generally, trees are only a poison arrow if it is aimed directly at the main entrance or a window. 2. If it has a tree trunk aimed at a window, this is easier to neutralise. From the side view, it does show the smaller tree trunk (may or may not slice thru the windows). One option is to install day curtains can be installed. 3. Trees are acceptable as it provides much shade especially from the afternoon sun. And one of the "secret" weapons is the ability to attract "birds" in the area. (Of course now adays, some people condone birds due to the concern of "bird flu" virus.

Wealth Sector/Area
1. Humans or each person has their (his/her) ba zi. Similiarly every home also has it's own ba zi. 2. For the home (landed property, condo, apartments, walk-up flats) as you had mentioned, some homes may be born between 1984 to 2003 = Period 7. In addition, under Flying Star Feng Shui, one has to determine the facing directionout of a total of 15directions. 3. Oncea full Flying Star chart is found, then one NOT only can find one's wealth sector but also try to find out and disarm bad sectors. For wealth sectors, please check out my many, many previous posts on:- #8 = current prosperity (0 to2 years luck) #9 = future prosperity (

Sleeping/bed question
1. It is more important to consider "human-man luck" factors, first. Thus, it makes more sense to sleep separately, it is still acceptable for each of you to own your double bed. 2. Don't care what others think about. Frankly, last Saturday, a client requested for a separate bedroom for her husband. Who like yours snores.... She sleeps in the master bedroom while he (husband) has been allocated another bedroom. Very common situation! 3. When we are married to a person, it does not mean that we need to "velcro" ourselves to our partner. Rachel R. wrote: My husband snores terribly and we both toss and turn a lot in our sleep, hencewe have not been sleeping on the same bed for the past 3 years. We still sleep in the same bedroom (master bedroom), but we sleep on separate beds - each of us has our own double bed! I recently heard from a ladythat its not good luckfor married couples to sleep on separate beds! But I alsoknow of other married couples whosleep on separate bedsbecause of snoring, etc. so I don't think me and my husband are alone here. It doesn't bother us that we sleep on different beds -in fact weget a betternight's sleep from it (I know I do, especially!)-but is it really a problem and will it lead to something bad in our marriage if we continue to sleep this way?? I'm asking this now because my husband's considering throwing his mattress and buying a new one because its hurting his back, and we are contemplating whether to just buy him a new mattress, or throw both our beds and buy a super king size bed (which is the biggest bed we can buy)?

“We did not realise that our windows are NOT UV protected. Our window BLINDS also are NOT UV protected!” How are we going to face our friends, public and window shopping? Should have applied Coppertone UV protection cream on my face, neck, body! Daddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd................

Kithchen Door Facing Main Door
1. May consider install a partition. Some comments on the type of partition can be found, here:- http://www.geomancy.net/wiki/Divider_or_Partition 2. On / Off! When the main door is opened, (if possible) the kitchen door is closed. Frankly this may not be practical day-to-day situation. Para 1 is a better choice.

Street sign is facing my main entrance door!
My step-father consider this as the VERY BEST cure for a "poison arrow" or sha qi aimed at his home's main entrance!

Bright Hall (Ming Tang), Clear space, Bird flying freely
A bird flying freely implies "clear space". Bright Hall allows bright lights to fall onto a space.... And unobstructed view....

Period 8 house
1. Yes, precisely! The trouble with some Feng Shui practitioners is that they merely visit your home for a short duration. And in my opinion, frankly totally irresponsible to ask their client not to use the master bedroom. This is as good as not using the master bedroom and master toilet. 2. There are ways to neutralise what you had mentioned. And based on the star numbers that you have given, one do not need to resort to the earlier advice under Para 1. It is as good as telling you, move out. Try to contact the practitioner and "demand" for a cure for it. As well as to wake him (her) up to the fact that such "cures" suggested is totally unsatisfactory!

Good day to move house in Aug 2008
1. Realistically, there is no "special" cure or "things to do" for such an event. Therefore it is as simple as : Move or Don't move (full stop). Or like questions of Yes or No: Ivory or Ebony. 2. The purpose of giving good dates is already clearly mentioned to you.

Robbed of Wealth at work ?
1. If you intend to DIY Feng Shui then, there are a host of concepts relating to first finding out whether are there are "wealth leaks" say in your home:-http://www.geomancy.net/wiki/Main_Page#Key_Success_Factors_in_D.I.Y._Feng_Shui 2. Thus what you had mentioned is too general to say for sure what is wrong. 3. Alternatively, you may want to consider getting a Geomancer to "troubleshoot" for you e.g. your home Feng Shui etc...

Feng Shui for Botannia Part II
1. As mentioned, in my earlier comments, those units circled in pink, should have NO problem even with the toilet bowl. Such units should be able to easily "weather" the "leak". 2. Yes, the additional WC can easily be removed. And one can apply for a one time check so that one no longer pays the conservancy charge for the extra WC. In terms of the Feng Shui, it is a better choice not to have this additional WC (if it is not fully needed). 3. For a partition, these are some common guidelines:- 3.1. Avoid placing shoes in the partition cabinet. 3.2 Avoid circular designs for the partition 3.3 Avoid placing a reflective glass facing the main door 3.4 A partition should if possible based on good Feng Shui ruler dimensions: the smallest is 35inches and often the most optimium is approximately 42 inches or more ... 3.5 Avoid having the partition slice thruANY part of the passageway. 3.6 Contrary to popular believe, the partition need not be fully air-tight. For asthethic,it should preferable be at least the same height or higher of the main doortop-frame. 3.7 Avoid placinga three-beam partition - especially if it resembles three joss sticks praying to the dead. There are more considerations.. and these are some of them...

Masterbed Room
1. In my opinion, it is very common especially for new couples to "conserve" their money and try not to overspent or worse, become so indebted even before carrying on a "new life". In fact, quite alot of couples I know previously, have kept some of the "unmoveable" fixtures such as what you had mentioned especially built in wardrope. 2. As mentioned above, money does not fall out of the sky! And often without money or savings or if we do have monetary problems between couples.. it is one of the leading cause of "separation" etc.. 3. Especially for the entire home, one of the best key successfactors is to definitely re-paint the entire home. 4. Prior to taking over the home perform the "First-time-open door procedure". And you may consider sprinkling salt into the bedroom toilets and for the floors, just becareful of salt touching water onto parquet wood tiles. If you do sprinkle salt, don't use any water, first. Sweep away the salt etc.., first. 5. If you intend to keep the cabinet, buy a few packets of mouth balls and throw them into the cupboards. Frankly this is sufficient, recourse. 6. The main thing, is that some of the older built in cabinet(s) are acceptable to be kept, so long as one uses brand new beds, bed-head, and entire new bed - bed structure.... 7. Alternatively, as a compromise, you may check with the contractor how much to "re-varnish" or even re-laminate the doors. Thus, keep the cabinet framework and re-laminate or change the doors to the cabinet is another practical consideration. Quote: Hi master cecil, Recently I have bought a new resale 5 room flat in Northern singapore to get ready for my chinese customary weddingnext year. Right now, everything in the house is still in quite good condition. There's an L- shape custom make wardrobe and dressing tablein thismasterbed room.Butmyparents insist that I shouldget everything new for the wedding ( have to be new for new fortune for new wed people)next year and also previous owner may have left some "bad qi" behind when they leave.Which means I have to let go the still good condition wardrobe anddressing table which is used by the previous owner for 8 years. So is it advisable to remove everythingespecially in the masterbedroom and refurnished with new onesince masterbed room is one of the main factor in contributing good feng shui to thehouse ?

Weekend House
1. Frankly, in my opinion, higher floors are often less of a concern of being "dirty". Majority of "dirty" homes are either ground floor upto usually 4 or 5th storeys high even for a weekend house. 2. Drawing a proper Flying Star chart can often hold a tell-tale sign especially if there are high concentrations of "yin" stars in a specific sector e.g. a vacant bedroom. 3. In general, if you have brought all your family members to the apartment and do check with them how they feel about the home. 4. Otherwise, get professional help from Geomaners to do a Feng Shui audit. Many of us, especially with our specialsed luo pan is able to "detect" such entities (or non-entities). And advise you on it.

Which of these twin towers have good feng shui?
1. Frankly, such assessments need to take into consideration many considerations inclusive of the compass direction(s). 2. For the twin identical towers, since they are symmetrical, considerations like: location of kitchen, toilet, bedroom etcs have to considered etc..

Feng Shui for Botannia
1. Further to what I had mentioned, majority of the units circled earlier in pink or green even if it is a 3 bedroom with toilet at the main entrance would normally be able to negate or be better -off in "neutralising" the concern of the toilet (bowl) at the main entrance area. 2. SW2 and SW3 (39 and 40) apartments, have a better advantage over units 41 and 42 due to the water wealth position at it's frontage.

Feng Shui for Botannia
1. Frankly, I have not done a full analysis nor make exact compass measurements. But a quick glance. 2. In the attachment, I have roughly circled "best" units and "ok" units. (Again, I have not fully analysed one by one - all the units. Those I seem to feel are better ones). 3. Do take note consideration of the dreaded "afternoon sun". And you also have to take note of any sharp corners of neigbouring units aimed towards your proposed unit. PLEASE note that I have also not outline ALL units affect by afternoon sun. Only those unit that you had mentioned you like and some others that will get the majority of it. Of course, there are many more units that will also be affected by afternoon sun .. that I left out...

Feng Shui for Botannia
1. The two bedroom layout plan generally seems better. 2. If possible: Last resort: 2.1 Unit 30 = roughly NW3 facing direction. Will be affected by afternoon sun. And although one can take advantage of a water wealth position at the "frontage", other than this, the rest of the other sectors in the home has poor Flying Star qi. 2.2 Units 33 and 34: Although it suits both Eight House chart, the entire frontage has very poor Flying Star "luck numbers". Furthermore, it is a pity that the double auspicious #8 stars are wasted at the "back of the apartment". If budget or finance is not an issue (of course it is an issue for new couples), the best are units 31 and 32 or units 7 or 8. Not withstanding - what is the exterior view like for these units especially 7 or 8. But 31 and 32 - excellent. 3. NE1 facing apartments: 37 and 38 : Although does not match your Eight House chart, these two units should be able to enjoy exceptional wealth luck (just need to fine tune -health issues especially for the 1st year of stay). NE2/3 facing 41 and 42, is considered 2nd choice over 37 and 38. However, there is a very slight issue of morning sun coming in. But morning sun is not so bad as the afternoon sun. 4. Please take note that most of the comments is only on the basis of the site plan. And does not take into consideration "what is directly facing these units" especially on neighbourhood land or any pointed corners of it's neighours.

Feng Shui for Botannia
With regards to the 3-bedroom layout plan: Yes, there is some concern over the toilet WC fronting / close to the main entrance of the home. In general, this is considered "one major leak". And often, a home should not have more than THREE major leaks. If so, it will certainly serioulsy affect health and wealth of the owners. Thus it is more so to choose better or (Best) units in order to reduce or negate or neutralise and "boost" up the luck of the home.

Question about tree and more
1. Sorry to hear about your problems. 2. Have taken a look at the three photos. Two of the photos, relating to the views taken of the tree and your main entrance = from a Shapes and Forms Feng Shui point of view - seems OK. 3. The huge tree trunk seems to be slicing thru the large windows. Most likely this is your living room? Thus based on external Shapes and Forms, it is good that you should try to disarm or neutralise this threat from the tree. 4. As the tree trunk seems to pose a "threat" to the home, please see attachment:- Marking A - most effective if you can place a convex mirror as shown in the diagram Marking B - if the convex mirror has been placed; ignore this: Hang a 6 hollow rod wind chime Marking C - install day curtain and draw it over the window.
