  1. These are some ofthe major Feng Shui considerations:- 1. Check to see if (especially) the direct opposite neighbour's home roof is not like a pointed arrow especially if it suppose to slice thru the proposed new main door of your home and or windows. 2. Also do check for any street lamps or signposts that slices or will slice the main door and or windows. 3. If you are constructing a new home under Flying Star Period 8: then if your home has clear space at the frontage, then a better facing direction is the Flying Star SW1 facing. As there is a water star #8 current prosperity at the facing direction. And there is a mountain star #8 at the back of the house. If the home suits this configuration, then a SW1 facing is most ideal. 3. If the frontage is blocked especially if a two or three storey home facing (yours) then a SW2 or SW3 would be beneficial as there is a Mountain Star #8 at the frontage .... 4. Water existing the home is crucial as usually two sectors are very auspicious water drainage directions and often one is meant for "power and authority" for those staying in a specific landed property. 5. Please take note that changing the door direction to many good Feng Shui practitioners is deemed "temporary" only and the qi effect is not as good as the real qi coming in naturally from the actual facing direction. 6. From a traditional Feng Shui point of view, the male breadwinner's 8 house chart is considered, first - as what you have done. Another form is some Feng Shui practitioners use the person's element and strength to determine the best facing direction or how suitable the direction is. The 8 house chart is acceptable (full stop). And for those who use the ba zi method, is tomany pracititioners as "a finer point" or method. BUT, using both can be "suicidal" for some as these two may conflict and one may be at odd's end.
  2. Dear Michael, As we have a policy of not selling any physical products, feel free to search the internet for such types of Luo Pan. Quote: Michael K. wrote: Good day everyone! Thank you Masters Robert & Cecil Lee for your wonderful courses, I'm thoroughly enjoying them. I'd like to start off on the right foot with my Feng Shui analysis. Can anyone recommend a good Luo Pan. I've done some research and come up with 8"6in or 26cm as the size of professional standard for accuracy. I also thought that a Zhung He Luo Pan was best suited for the Feng Shui as taught at Geomancy.net. Any opinions on this, or good brands at a resonable price? Thank you all for your time. Blessings, Michael
  3. Frankly there are some materials on this subject, but are scattered all over the website: 1. Mirror facing Dining table Try to use one piece or three pieces instead of two equal sized ones. If we can visualise, two pieces when placed against the dining table is slicing the middle of (or spliting) the middle of the dining table, inauspicious. 2. There are many other exampes of mirrors in a bedroom, facing entranceetc...
  4. Frankly, the house number analysis is based on "Vertical Flying Star" Feng Shui - where each level is suppose to have different qi flow. It is nice-to-have an apartment that has a good number (full-stop). However, this is not the end, but one of the many other considerations. In Feng Shui it is the earth luck: thus "location, location and location is equally as important. And it involves a close-look or study of the site, the building and neighbouring building / roads etc.. Thus the more info, one has, to evaluate the home, the better. As the "Vertical Flying Star" Feng Shui is specific to just looking especially at which level or storey the apartment is (full-stop). It cannot tell more than that. Quote: Greetings to all! I stay in India, and have recently relocated to Delhi. Ever since shifting here I have been beset with one problem after another, mostly related to health, finance, too much expenditure and career wise (reputation). On the free section of this site, I did a house number analysis, and this is what came up House Number : #1050-0 House Period : 7 (1984-2003) 81 Interpretation [3] & [6] - Lawsuit, injury to hands and legs. I stay in a rented accomodation of flats, in Sector A Pocket B&C House number 1050. I have been planning to move into C6 6511, the analysis of which says House Number : #6511-0 House Period : 7 (1984-2003) 81 Interpretation [1] & [6] - Power and Authority (Especially good for police or uniformed personnel). Please advise! Will this be a wise move?
  5. 1. This reminds me of several encounters with Doctors (surgeons / GP or specialists). 2. Feng Shui is not an "exact" science and there are as many different practises as there are practitioners. 3. Many doctors (were used) to studying say the human body and many books e.g. Gray Anatomy etc.. detail the exact body structure, muscles, organs. And these are or have to be reproduced "exactly". 4. And several of these Doctors tried to "learn" Feng Shui. And, like yourself, found difficulty as such! Therefore, the consolation is that you are not alone!
  6. 1. Frankly, in my opinion, many books will still be general and all those questions that you had posted would have to depend on the various replies that you had received be it earlier or in the near future. 2. As practitioners vary in their interpetations, this is understandable especially if one is doing DIY Feng Shui. You still have to go around searching for "answers" as there is no single book that covers what you are asking nor confirming what is "right or wrong".
  7. Overall, depending on the external environment (especially the site and location); under Flying Star Period 8, a NE2 home generally enjoys a Parent string especiallyif the frontage has a "mountain" and the back... "clear space" effect. Health especially for the 1st year is a concern but overall, the house may enjoy favourable wealth luck. The suggestion or advise is for a holistic approach to Feng Shui: try to do a full Feng Shui audit : to neutralise the leaks and areas where qi can be improved on, try to do so. The remedy will depend on individual home and individual sector(s) of the home. We just bought a " very inauspicious" house according to the flying star theory. It was built this year (2008) and is facing NE2. Can you tell me what should we do to make this house auspicious? Do you have any suggestions, cures, adviseor remedy?
  8. 1. The professional approach is more than the simplistic view that since the home is facing "south-east"; it DOES NOT automatically mean that the best colour(s) is GREEN (SE = wood). 2. For example, most of the professional Feng Shui practitioners apply Flying Star Feng Shui. And if a SECTOR of a home does have a #3; this represents "BAD WOOD". And anything associated with green such as GREEN colour or green plants is considered inauspicious, here. 3. Thus the notion that SE = Wood, West = Metal, North = Water is too simplistic and often unfortunately, considered as "Kindergarten Feng Shui". 4. Traditionally professional Feng Shui practitioners would first look at Para 2 (Flying Star) and after considering this, then it is NICE-to have the specific location customised if possible to one's ba zi colours. Quote: Anonymous wrote: Dear Master, Using your free report, I realised I am a weak yin earth and my most unfavourable colour is green. However, as my house is facing south east and thus the element "wood", I wastold that green is a favourable colour for painting the walls of the house. Now i am confused, when choosing the colour to paint one's house, should it based on the element of the house or the element of the person living there? Thanks in advance. Regards Kris
  9. Coincidentally still acceptable to have a Metal, Water plus a little Fire element. Here, water draws out his strong metal, fire "melts" metal. These two are already favourable to him. Thus even adding Metal to his chart is acceptable. Being a strong metal person, a water industry is favourable to this person.
  10. 1. Yes, in your case, where it is not a sole proprietor or more than two persons, it is best to go for a logo that is harmonious to the industry:- 2. Since the industry should be considered as a "water" element: these are usually the best combined options for such a logo:- 2.1 Metal (White or gold or silver) with Water (Blue, black or grey). Here metal is also represented by circle. And water is wavy form. Thus for colours one of the best combinations are: BLUE with WHITE 2.2 Another set of combination can also be: METAL (white or gold or silver) supports WATER (Blue, black or grey) . And Water destroys Fire (to create wealth) Under Para 2.2. another combination of colours are: Metal with Water with a little RED (Fire = red). For example if there is a letter I or i, the dot on the i can be red. Para 2.2 is the preferred choice as a better logo should have THREE colours NOT two. Please see attachment. Irina M. wrote: Dear Cecil, Thank you for your response. In such case, what would be the best colour/shapefor a company logo? There are 4 partners in this business and it would not be very practical to design the logo based on the elements of all 4 people. Is it correct that man can either use the colour or shape of the element which represents the category of business, or use the control cycle? For example, as Orange did with theirsquare orange logo - their business is communication (water) controlled by earth (orange/square). Regards, I.M
  11. 1. In general the industry should be considered as a "Water" element due to a large component of it as a "drink or shake". 2. Individually, if one sells or market the drink then his job specs should be a "Fire element".
  12. Dear Rebecca, 1. I hope you can understand that it is difficult for me with this general information to give you any advise. 2. Perhaps, you can check out for any practitioners in your area. 3. For a SE facing home, it also depends on the age of the home ( 1984 to 2003 = Period 7; 1964 to 1983 = Period 6 or earlier home). In addition, the individual layout of your home especially the bedroom / kitchen etc... has to be considered also. Best of Luck!
  13. From a Chinese Luck System: i.e. commonly known as the "Holy Trinity of Luck":- Heaven Luck (born with) Earth Luck (in your case your home) Human or Man Luck (your dad's affirmative action with support from family members). We have not fully looked at the Earth Luck of your home. But just a general understanding. Based on the Holy Trinity of Luck, see how you and your dad and family members can also try to focus on how best strategically you can try to "stop" more people coming to your home. The saying goes "blood is thicker" than water. And only immediate family members apply, here. Others e.g. cousins, relatives are not direct family members. So, it is good to discuss some plans or if your dad "remains a very soft" person, try to "place" courage into him. Try to say "NO" and not "YES".. to these "outsiders".
  14. 1. As mentioned previously, there is no perfect home. 2. The only way to maximize is : 2.1 If literally, "there is a brick wall blocking us, no matter how hard we bang our head against this wall, this wall will not collapse." 2.2 For certain issues or concerns and if we cannot change our environment; we may have to maximize beneifits from elsewhere. For example, fix other leaks in the home. 2.3 The common problem with many people is that instead of fixing this orOTHER leaks, they may be swayed into believing to purchase lots of products - which benefit mostly the seller. 3. Thus, inpast messages, I feel that we should try to maximize our total score much like taking an examination paper. Liketrying to answer the compulsory 5 out of 10 questions. Instead of spending so much time on just 2 or4 questions but skipping the last question. R A. wrote: Thankyou. Can you please offer any tips for maximizing the benefits?
  15. 1. Honestly, it is not favourable to place a ba gua mirror for the sake of "placing" it to pacify one's self. 2. A bagua mirror should only be used especially for these two reasons:- 2.1 Stand at each of the door (inside) of the house and look outwards: Is there any tree trunk or road side lamp that seems to slice thru the door? Or any pointed roof of neighbours aimed towards either the door(s) or windows. If so, a conVEX mirror can be used, here. 2.2 The top view seems to have a large missing corner. Without the interior layout - hard to determine. Do check where this missing corner is? If the missing corner is at NW (will affect the head of the house) and if missing at SW = let of compassion of those coming over to "squat" on the land.
  16. 1. Thanks for the site-plan. 2. Definitely one concern of such a house isa break-in. More importantly, the major problem has to do with "distrubance" of qi due to the three doors that has stairs that go down. 3. It is not possible to highlight all the issues as it may involve a full Feng Shui investigation. However, the main focus is to see how best the qi can enter into the home (instead of thru multiple-entrances). 4. One way is to see - if possible that at least the 3rd door or even both 3rd and 2nd doors are "locked" up. Thus will stop or reduce the endless flow of people into this "easily" accessible - enticing "outsiders" to squat (or become a furniture or couch potato) of your dad's home. Try to go forward from, here. 5. Usually the main door should preferably be at the frontage of the home. Quote: The peculiar thing I noted about the house is that there are 3 doors that exits the home, all with small stairs that go down to the ground. Am Iincorrect to assume such stair/door arrangement may be inviting too much activity into the house, both good and bad?
  17. Dear Lalita, 1. Never hang a convex mirror and/or a hexagram Ba-gua inside the home. It is considered very inauspicious. 2. Since you have not or may not intend to do a Feng Shui audit, it is still best to leave the current situation alone. In my opinion, as far as I can understand, so long as the staircase has a turning and not a straight staircase, this is considered acceptable -- not perfect, thou. Quote: Lalita L. wrote: I just bought a house. The staircase is in the middle of the house and unfortunately runs into the master bedroom. Is this considered two major leaks? I'm planning to add light on top the staircase and hang a convex mirror and a hexagram Ba-gua on top ofthe bedroomdoor. Are they going to cure the problems? Please let me know if you have other suggestions.
  18. 1. This is just an advice - - on a "fixture". 2. Within reasons: "try to be a "good" or reasonable MIL. And hope that your DIL does the same. Quote: Doris W. wrote: Hello! I have used the free report from this website about a particular apartment flat. The results are follows: House Number : #7-500 House Period : 7 (1984-2003) 81 Interpretation [4] & [2] - Mother or Mother-in-law and Daughter-in-law or Daughter cannot get along. Incidentally, I have a daughter in law and two daughters. Are there any methods to prevent or lessen the possible negative effects? Thank you in advance
  19. These are some of the common notations on your case:- 1. Check your existing name or change of name: Some go to the extend of checking one's existing "Mandarin" name to see if it would help to benefit a person if there is a change of name or not. Here, I have mentioned that if one does not normally use one's "changed" name, then usually, not very practical to do so. For example, if we have a Christian name: of Christina, changing one's mandarin nameoften does not help in any way. Especially if the universal commerce language is English. 2. Under the Five elements concept, Fire fuels earth. Thus, there are varied interpretations such as going for a fire career or have more "fire" especially for a weak earth person. Adding fire would be more beneficial as fire fuels earth. While adding earth to earth is acceptable but not that fantastic. 3. Under the Holy Trinity of Luck; 3,1. Heaven Luck: Para 1 and 2 above, bring a few examples of your ba zi (Heaven Luck) situation. 3.2. Earth Luck 3.3. Human (Man Luck). What is Earth and Human or (Man) luck has been discussed previously in many of the past forum messages.
  20. 1. The high uncovered overhead beam can be an issue. 2. Given that your cubicle is located at a frequent foot traffic area - there is no choice, here. You have placed a mirror is fine or OK. For para 1, some of the common cures include: 1. Covering the overhead beam - seems not within your control 2. Another common approach is to draw a red line parallel to the beam (especially if it is above your head). The "red" line symbolises fire and if the beam is a concrete or wood beam, the red (fire) is symbolic of "melting" the beam. 3. Possible also for the nasty #5 yellow (misfortune/sickness) and or a combination of it with #2 at your cubicle sector. Here, within your cubicle, you can either hang a set of six coins tied with red string or place a "metallic" e.g. brass clock on the table (if not practical) then the next best is the brass "hulu" or bottle gourd (about 2 to 3 inches) in size is preferred. The above are some of the common "cures" for such a situation given that this is an office environment - not own house or property. Quote: Jolie Q. wrote: I started a new job 11/07. Since beginning of year, I've had numerous health problems. I'm suspicious is the office feng shui. How can I cure: - High uncovered ceilings (overhead beams, etc showing) on top of me - open cublicle, I placed mirror up to see behind me - frequent foot traffic walking by my cublicle
  21. 1. Frankly, there is no single "line" Feng Sui cure from a Feng Shui point of view where if one continue to stay in a specific home. 2. Proper Feng Shui cure or enhancement require a proper holisticaccessment of the home. Quote: Lehoa T. wrote: I'm a strong water person and really live in North facing house. I'm really in deep financial debt. Cannot move now. Do you have any ideal for me to fix this problem as soon as possible.
  22. 1. As a strong earth person, the metal business that you had mentioned that produces water is considered beneficial under the five elements concept. 2. Since you are a strong earth person, metal will help you and water is yourwealth element. Wood career or association with wood is your "power of authority". Quote: Norhaidah M. wrote: As a strong earth person with no water in my birthchart (either in stemor branch), I look forward for the coming luck pillar of water next year. Dragon inmy luck pillar will combine with Monkey in my chart to form water. My questions are:- 1. Since I don't have water in my stem, how effective the result would be? 2. Shall I do business related to fire, as dragon is earth, or metal business as the result is water?
  23. 1. Fundamentally, here, you are applying the Eight House theory. 2. As many of us are aware, the Eight House theory looks at how suitable the house is to the owner(s). 3. In addition, if we have several homes to decide upon, which is better, the other common approach is to perhaps determine, between these homes, which sectors are good or bad vs the other homes. 4. For example, home 1: main door (inauspicious) 2. living room (inauspicious) sector, toilet at husband's prosperity sector; we then compare home 2; home 3 against home 1 to see which home is better. 5. Other than the above, we have to use other methods : Shapes and forms and Flying star Feng Shui, to determine or hrlp us further decide which home to buy. Quote: Anonymous wrote: Hi Master Lee My partner & I belong to the West KUA group (2 & 8). We intend to purchase an apartment with main door facing East and living room facing North. The main orientation is North/South. Do you foresee an affliction? If yes, is there a remedy? Thanks once again for your insights.
  24. 1. This is not a free service. 2. As you had mentioned that many people felt that your name dows not suit you, you may like to take note that: Usually, names are selected when young i.e. at birth. If u susequently change to a new name, but will not use it, I personally don't see any use, here. For example, if u are in Singapore where the commercial language is English, and if u don't use the new mandarin name, frankly it is not much use changing the name. The most effective is to use one's newly changed name. Further more, if one has a Christian name e.g. Christine, you will be usingthis more often! Quote: Anonymous wrote: there are many people who knows how to analyse chinese names told me that my name doesnt suit me. i wanted to change but am worried about the after effect will be worse. Can you just help me to calculate one more time to see if my name does suit me/ if its balance? btw, my chinese name is guo wan yu.
  25. Dear Doris, Yes, one consideration is SW sector. Another two sectors to consider are: 1. South-East (Eldest daughter) 2. South (Middle daughter) 3. West (Youngest daughter) If one only has two daughters than do check out Para 1. SE (eldest)and 3. West (youngest) For landed property, make sure that at the frontage; avoid having too many openings OPENED e.g. some landed properties have both main door e.g. wooden door and directly next to this a row of sliding glass. If often both this sliding glass are always opened together with the wooden door. Quote: Doris W. wrote: Hello! I am aware that the SW sector of the house is the romance sector. I have two daughters who are unmarried; is there any problem if the kitchen is in the SW sector of the house? Thanks in advance
