The idea, here is to complete or try to complete all renovations at these areas e.g. North (3killings);West (5 yellow) and NW (Grand Duke) for 2006before we move-into the home. Usually for those who purchased a new home or a resale home:- 1. Select a good date for initial opening of the main entrance door. 2. Select a good date to start renovations. Here, so long as one has not moved-into the apartment, as yet; contractors hacking or knocking or painting at North, West or NW (2006) does not matter. 3. Select a good date to move-in. Even if we want to place a water feature, it should also "look appropriate" at a location that is "functional" and not obstrusive to the interior decor. Dear Anon, Most of the time, our office orientation (sitting) is constrained by either the layout of the office and the use of system furniture where we are not able to tilt our table. Only those who "own" a room may perhaps change their directions. Again, often if the furniture i.e. cabinets, sidetable and table are fixed, also difficult to change, here. However, Eight House Theory or 4Good & Bad directions has limitations, in your situation. There is no magic cure for this. Should we convert a home from Period 7 to Period 8? My advise is to try to chart out your home under both Periods: 7 and 8 charts. And then analyse room by room to see which is a better chart.

For example, if your home is a North 1 (337.5 to 352.4 degrees or 345 degrees, home; You have to study your layout before committing to changing to Period 8. Under Period 7; NW:- MS1 WS4 B8 = Auspicious stars in particular #1 = future prosperity with #8 current prosperity. "Moving-metal" is particulary useful since you mentioned that in addition to these two bad stars, there is a further #3 = lawsuits, quarrels star. If the bedroom is not a bedroom, then one may consider using a six-hollow-rod windchime at that specific sector. Or a chiming clock around the wall of that sector. A clock that makes mechanical movement is also acceptable. Other traditional Feng Shui cures include:- a. the placement of a hulu or bottle gourd e.g. placed at the bed side table. b. for severe cases: get a jam jar (sized bottle). place 6 copper coins into it. Add two spponfuls of salt. Add water until 3/4 full. Stir the ingredients and place it close to a window (nearby).
