Case Study 4: Take care below - Bedroom 5 and Junior Suite
1. Junior Suite
1.1. Avoid bed-head sharing the same wall as Bath 4 WC.
2. Bedroom 5
2.1 If the shared wall between Bedrooms 5 and 6 material is a dry wall and not concrete wall; be careful of EMF radiation (if any) from the rear of the TV set in Bedroom 6 => towards Bedroom 5,3. Another sample of bed-head shared wall with TV (if any)

Case Study 3: Can I rely on the North compass marking on the Sales Brochure layout plans?
1. From Street map (streetdirectory.com) majority of the stacks face NE3 60 degrees, SW3 240 degrees and some stacks also face NW3 330 degrees.
2. Checking the accuracy of the North marking found on a sample layout plan:
2.1. Certainly, the outline of Block 4 corresponds with the 60 degrees or NE3 outline.
3. Undoubtedly, one can trust the compass markings present on the layout plan.
4. Nevertheless, the site plan indicates a slight 1 degree variation from the aforementioned, resulting in 61 degrees. Fortunately, this is not a cause for concern, as the NE3 range extends from 52.5 to 67.4 degrees, providing a sufficient margin for any discrepancies.

Good evening Master Lee.
We are selling our current HDB in xxxxx and plans to buy a resale unit in Pinnacle at Duxton. Seeing your experience and write up about this property, we wish to seek your advice.
What package is available for scouting which stacks in Pinnacle is suitable for us?
And then after that. If we are lucky to get our first or second choice. What package is available for the fengshui of that particular unit?
Thanks.

Hi Cecil: how are you? I have making little progress renovating the house.. this time, we are putting in a wood pergola in our East facing patio backyard. You mentioned something about the rafter facing the house before.. our builder is building this design pergola and the rafter either side will have to point next to the house. Anything we can do to remedy? Does the rafter tail design helps a bit? Pic following

1. No need full height. Can be see thru
2. Photos of samples are acceptable except for comments on these:-
a. Number 2 = mirror finish.. avoid... a mirror finish or reflective surface facing the main door. And also avoid the geometric patterns shown in the sample.
b. Number 4 = Good luck to whoever cleans it! Collects dust and if cannot be fully cleaned... unhealthy for the lungs. Or if one has a maid this is an exceptional torture for her. Or no maid... to whoever cleans it.
c. Especially Number 6 and 7 has some of the problems associated with cleaning. Although the rest also may equally be a chore to clean. Note.. all these has more to do with common sense than Feng Shui.
3. The partition at the stairs as in other examples are okay. Need not be air-tight. Can also be a display shelf.. but avoid things like the Eiffle Tower or sharp objects facing main door.
-
1. Must the partition be a full height wall that blocks the staircase view from the main door entrance completely?2. Can the design have holes or gaps and can partially see through to the stairs from the main door?2. We are exploring some possible designs - are the below design options ok? Please advise.

"The alignment of the front door with the front gate can have both positive and negative implications. It may create a sense of symmetry and harmony in the design, but it could also potentially lead to negative energy flowing directly into the house according to Feng Shui principles." Master Cecil Lee, Geomancy.net
1. Feng Shui takes into account two main considerations when it comes to the placement of the main door:
a.) The wealth location for the main door.
b.) In some cases, smaller homes may have "poison arrows" in the form of a neighboring house roof-line, lamp post, or tree pointing towards the main door. In such instances, the main door location is assessed in relation to these factors. -

Uptown @ Farrer @ Perumal Road by Low Keng Huat (Singapore) - Which units are lucky today?
in Around Singapore
Case Study: Do you know that even if a geomancer says that the site is excellent, all sites are govern by the concept of the Bell Curve
1. You wrote: "Beside the road name as well.." This is not really Feng Shui. More of a French dislike for this former WWW One hero turned traitor in WWW Two. That's all.
2. Many conservative Feng Shui Masters does not look favourably to a plot that is beside a temple. This is the major "stumbling block" in Feng Shui.
3. Often, if the unit is not chosen correctly.. can affect wealth of the residents. Subject to Para 4. (below).
3.1. But the number of good or outstanding units in this development is small.
3.2. Taking into consideration the Feng Shui concept of Yang Zhai San Yao. This is another consideration in determining how suitable or unsuitable a unit is to the main breadwinner, also.
4. Remember, even if a geomancer says that this is a good development. However, a good unit also depends on where it is within the development:
5. Is your potential unit under the Good, the Bad or the Ugly?
6. Often if one is lucky, even if the unit is not so fantastic superficially. Some units are like an unpolished gem. While others unfortunately may be a hopeless rotten apple.
6.1. Just imagine, if the unit is like a 10 year old rundown 1,000 cc car. Even a good Feng Shui Master is unable to turn it into a good unit!
By the way, (above) this falls under Habit Number 11.
7. Under Habit 1, one possibility is by ranking one's bedroom type by stack/unit: 1st choice, 2nd choice etc...
