Part 3 of 4: House of Tan Yeok Nee built in 1882-85 Traditional Chaozhou style
One of the rooms turned into an office The last tenant was a Traditional Chinese Medicine Hall:- This is a close-up of the dispensing hall. Notice the large amounts of storage chests. Each chest was suppose to contain a specific medicine. Won't be surprise if one of them contains medical cockroaches and even seahorse etc... Another view of the open courtyard from the dispensing hall:-

Part 1 of 4: House of Tan Yeok Nee built in 1882-85 Traditional Chaozhou style
The House of Tan Yeok Nee was built in 1882-85 as a family home by Tan Yeok Nee, a gambier merchant from Chaozhou, China. When he first arrived in Singapore, he made a living as a cloth pedler. However. he later established hamsell as a successful gambler and pepper planter in Johor. Malaya. and began trading in these commodltles. The house is one of the two surviving examples of traditional Chinese mansions in Singapore. the other being River House in Clarke Quay. The House of Tan Yeok Nee is a Teochew-style residential buuilding wlth two main courtyard. lts intricate roof is decorated with wooden carvings, painted plaster relief and colourful porcelain pieces. Tan Yeok Nee later sold the house and returned to China. During this time, the Singapore-Kranji railway line was being bult and the house was aquired for use by the station master of the nearby Tank Road Railway Station from 1902. Subsequently, the building was occupied by St Mary's Home, an orphanage and boarding school for girls from 1905-32. In 1938,it became the headquareters for Salvation Army until 1991. The House of Tan Yeok Nee was gazetted a National Monument in 1974. As there are too many photos, I have created several Parts. Today, will be converted as an education institution from a Traditional Chinese Medical Hall (TCM) HALL

Just in... The profile of the estate looks more like a barber's shaver:- Did you manage to see a profile of the barber's shaver?- Sitting/facing position + Appreciation of the difference between Yin & Yang Feng Shui and the understanding of flow of Qi
Please note that for a home at a cul-de-sac: Feng Shui (especially) takes into consideration the house in relation to where it is on the cul-de-sac etc.. etc... Frankly, an essay with lots of paragraphs ain't going to help, here: "Only the writer knows what she is talking about". Not the readers...- HDB MacPherson Regency
Le Cresendo visit... a former client upgraded to this development ... Hmmm... not sure if my eyes are failing me... the pool water does not feel appealing to go in for a swim... LOL... Reminds me of swamp water... LOL- HDB MacPherson Regency

- HDB Kallang Breeze BTO launched in February 2019 - Which units are lucky?
1. Feng Shui accounts for only 33.33% of the total luck. The other two areas are: 1. Heaven Luck via Ba Zi and 2. Human or man luck. 2. For some, either they may have doubts about this and/or feel unease of this or get feedback from relatives and friends. Such doubts may be unsettling. And may inadvertently affect the other luck = Human or man luck. 2.1. If one wants to find out more ... then do a search for "Holy trinity of Chinese luck".... 3. Furthermore, when it is time or should one want to sell the home; may even get low ball offers or a situation where someone may bring their FS Master and advice their client not to purchase such a unit. 4. Another common sense factor is the remote situation (TOUCH WOOD) that a unit caught fire. Here, it is not so much of what is bad for the unit (which in itself is bad luck already) but rather, that is why all units close to the lift have half-hour rated doors. To protect people along the common corridor and lifts. Anyway, for many years already, HDB provided all new homes such 1/2 fire rated doors. 5. Although the majority of the concerns in this write-up are for condo developments, however, there is a section on common bins...- Block 86 Bedok North Boon Lee Coffee Shop using old style signage

4 May 2019 A new neighbour ... URA sale site closing bid on 3 July 2019. Thus don’t know the developer or it’s name... most likely with a name including “CLEMENTI something” LOL Took these photos while visiting the recent TOP The Clementi Canopy...- The Clementi Canopy Condo by UOL - Which units are still lucky?
Tender closing on 3 July 2019 for this plot of land on Clementi Avenue 1. Fairly sizeable plot of land. This plot is between HDB Clementi Peaks and The Clementi Canopy. What this translates to is noise and dusts if one’s stack and unit is beside this development. This is the border between HDB Clementi Peaks and this URA Sale site... I am within this plot looking towards the south fringe of HDB Clementi Peaks: I am on this plot or field looking towards The Clementi Canopy:- Panaroma view: extreme left is HDB Clementi Peaks towards the right ... The Clementi Canopy.. a sizeable plot of land- The Clementi Canopy Condo by UOL - Which units are still lucky?
I feel that the common rubbish bin door is kinda of heavy.. but I believe, it can be adjusted... A stylish Icon for rubbish bin.... but still the same for a stack/unit in each block facing it... LOL- The Clementi Canopy Condo by UOL - Which units are still lucky?
