  1. Asked Meta AI to imagine this former study room +++ Case Study: I used to have a lovely study room. With full height glass walls. 1. The elegant study room was once visible from the living room, adding a touch of prestige to the home, ideal for the family's CEO or CFO. Upon entering the living room, one could see the study room clearly. 1.1. Regrettably, it was later reverted to a bedroom due to the family's growth over the years. Nevertheless, the configuration of the rooms has remained the same. 2. Regrettably, it was changed back into a bedroom because of the family's expansion over the years. However, the arrangement of the rooms has not altered. 3. It is important to consider the long-term effects before installing full glass panels in any room. 4. Specifically, it was reverted from a study back to a bedroom once more. 5. I consistently advise my clients that even if they prefer glass walls, it is often wiser to choose half-walls instead of full walls. 6. The reasoning behind this is simple and based on common sense. 7. Casual Conversation: Child (in the bedroom that was formerly a study): "Mommy, I don't want to sleep in this room!" Toddler (in the study that has been converted back into a bedroom): "Mama.. I can't sleep in this bedroom!" Mama: "What is the matter, darling?" Toddler: "The lights from the dining and living room are too bright." Mama shouted: "PAPA! Go FIX-IT"... It is no surprise that today, there is a makeshift curtain... as observed today...
  2. Location: HDB Atrina, Buangkok, Singapore Lets put the window grille to good use.
  3. 1990’s HDB flats. Those stacks with the metallic louvres face afternoon sun. In this photo, stacks/units on the left face morning sun. Thus one do not see any of the metallic sunshades as found in units on the right. It was late afternoon and one can confirm the afternoon sun shining at the afternoon sun units on the right:- This 30 years old block of flats (see below) at Simei also has sun-shades. But less obvious because they are made entire of RC material as shown, here:- This is how the whole block looks: These flats are close to the Changi Simei Community Club:
  4. Cannot be! Most likely you missed the review. Please scroll up. LOL For a change: Why don’t you be the duck on water. And make a video and let us watch? LOL If you do so, then I review #16 okay? No wonder: The most common used words in the English dictionary is “I or me” That is You! ...LOL
  5. These are some considerations: 1. In theory, the technique or direction is: standing inside the main door looking out. Note: He is standing inside the main door looking outwards 2. One can still stand e.g.. somewhere in the house but equally facing in the same direction of the main door. 2.1. Please refer to this sample layout plan: 2.1 One should be standing inside the main door at "A" looking out towards B. For example, if the reading is = 200 degrees. 2.2 Then logically if one stands at the other two areas: one at the middle of the the living room looking towads B. Won't it also the same or = 200 degrees? etc.. 2.3 Most compasses are sensitive to embedded reinforced metal rods that taking a reading so close to one side of the wall may skew the compass readings.. etc.. This is not covered in this discussion. 3. However, if you have the time, do click this link to have an in-depth understanding of the Frontage of a home. Here, the frontage may or may not automatically mean the main door:-
  6. Thanks you for your quick reply. Have a good weekend
  7. Case Study: Should I be concerned with this stove? 1. In my opinion, since the wall where the stove shares with is a VOID, this is no longer an issue. 2. However, a ultra-conservative Feng Shui Master will not think so. 3. Please weigh your own options, here.
  8. In 2018, Singapore population is at it's highest at 5.64 million Source & Credit: https://www.strategygroup.gov.sg/docs/default-source/default-document-library/population-in-brief-2018.pdf Full article population-in-brief-2018.pdf
  9. Case Study 7 - Inauspicious for the stove to directly share the same wall as the WC (Type C3a C3a Pes / D1 & D1 Pes) Another random sample: D1 and D1 Pes.. same situation... While for Penthouse Type PHC3a.. not perfect.. but better than the above examples: For PHC3a, although the stove shares the same wall as the Toilet, a consolation is that it does not share the same wall as the WC or sink.. better than nothing...
  10. Case Study - “Rob Peter to pay Paul Principle” Can I also expect a windfall if in the future (for 99-year leasehold) our collective site is put-up for enbloc? Oh! This has nothing to do with Feng Shui. Condo/EC/Privatised HUDC 2nd enbloc in the near future... 1. Can I also in the future be 2nd time LUCKY as the 1st enbloc owners who otherwise if sold indivually will not get a windfall as via enbloc? 2. Please wake-up lah! Not even built-yet. Still long long time to go...
  11. Case Study - 99 leasehold condos/EC/former privatised HUDCE enbloc & 2nd time as lucky? NOTE: THIS IS NOT FENG SHUI 1. Can I also (in the future) be 2nd time lucky as the 1st enbloc owners who otherwise if sold indivually will not get a windfall as via enbloc? 2. Please wake-up lah! Not even built-yet. Still long long time to go... THIS IS ECONOMICS OF CAN OR CANNOT BUY.
  12. Case Study: I am purchasing a leasehold just enbloc development
  13. Case Study 6 - For now, one can only rely on the Sales Brochure Floor Plan site-map to determine the compass directions. At present, streetmaps like streetdirectory dot com under A: shows the existing enbloc block arrangements. While B is the new Mayfair Residences. Using roughly the "eye-ball" method, the two almost lined-up. But the site borders are slightly different, here. Maybe because of the TOP up lease?
  14. Case Study - Jui Residences & NE and SW facing + take note of the topic of Devil's Gate. There is an depth look at homes that are NE or SW facing...
  15. The Holy Trinity of Luck:- ONE: Ba Zi is about Destiny and Heaven Luck. TWO Feng Shui is about the Feng Shui of the home and work premises. THREE: Another category is Human or Man Luck:- "I can't bear to EAT her. BUT I can follow humanoids and DIVORCE her". "But my religion does not allow for DIVORCE". "Well I ain't a humanoid.. to solve my problem.. I WILL JUST EAT HER UP.. YUMMY!"
  16. OMG! I purchased a unit with the rubbish bin next to my main entrance door.. FAINT!
  17. Case Study 2: Determining the compass directions for Flying Star Feng Shui 1. Based on an individual Floor plan site-plan's North marking: 1.1. This development has only stacks that either face Flying Stars NE2 or SW2 2. As the site will be under-construction, on way to do a site visit to determine the compass direction(s) physically. 2.1. However, there is a need to confirm this with either streetmap or onemap.sg. 3. Streetdirectory dot com seems close. With a reading of 42 degrees and 222 degrees. 3.1. Thus the difference is only 2 degrees from the Sales Brochure site plan. 3.2. And comfortably still fall under Flying Stars NE2 or SW2. Certainly a good start.
  18. 1. Young children and their siblings can be educated about the significance of steering clear of areas near invisible grilles, if such grilles are present. 2. Furthermore, an additional approach to avert accidents is to offer more education on this subject.
  19. Definitely this cannot be used to activate the mountain star! Why? Too sad.. must give him empathy instead.. lah!
