Cactus and Feng Shui? Need some help. I have a few pots of cactus given by family members, but not sure where to place them in the house. Some people advise me not to place them at entrance, living room, kitchen and even bathroom.
The proprietor of this residence has positioned multiple cactus plants outside their boundary as a means of deterrence. Ouch! Location: Serangoon Gardens Estate

Just display the menu.. and for less familiar food to appeal to all other races... it’s food name and photo will do! In this example of Indian food.- A photo tells a thousand words: this Marketing One-O-One for Coffeeshop Stall Menus - Popular with Zi Char stalls also
One trick to entice purchase is to avoid placing a price tag on any item. Plus, forever no need to paste an ugly patch to revive the prices. In no time, the signage will become stuck with amended pieces of unsightly stickers! Thus a reasonable large photo with the description of the food is good enough!- A photo tells a thousand words: this Marketing One-O-One for Coffeeshop Stall Menus - Popular with Zi Char stalls also

The Georgetown Coffee House in Tampines West uses tasteful advertisements.. Here the saying goes: “Photos tells a thousand words” And literally, not a single word is ever used on this large frontage! And plus brightly lit! If one has seen other signages, must say this is not only smart, clever and clean looking.. ”Our brand + photos of our food” that’s all on the signage” Now this is advertising 101 at it’s finest!- Chinese Culture: Bats, bats and more bats (Part 2)

In general, Flying Star Feng Shui is based on Compass School of Feng Shui. Naturally, best to use a compass. In modern world, you can check out your local street directory. All street directories have NORTH at the TOP. Thus these two pages are extracted from my book on Flying Star readings:- There are various methods in determining the compass degrees. And in the book; the above is based on a combination of street directory map and a protractor. The book shows one how to take an accurate reading:-- The Yin & Yang of Kovan Residences and Nim Collection
I12 Formely Katong Mall formerly Jo Chiat Market Katong Mall failed spectacularly in the 1990’s and closed in the early 2010’s. It was given an extensive makeover and given new branding as a niche mall in recent years. Yet,the turnover of shops in this mall is high. And even it’s niche food court closed recently... From a Feng Shui point of view; it is less than ideal to be located at a former market area. Then, the market stalls also spill along Joo Chiat Road before the defunct Tung Kin English School. 1966’s map showing the Joo Chiat market: In the above 1966’s streetmap, one can also see the shoreline and the wavy lines at the bottom of it represents the sea. Map of the area In 2018:- Map of 2007 showing the former Katong Mall. The latest I12 or catchy phase for “I want to” shop shares this outline. As this mall underwent extensive A&A works but not totally torn-down:- In fact the boss of Yeo Teck Seng, Mr Yeo which opened an emporium “House of Kitchenwares”.. later went to Hong Kong and committed suicide due to failing business.. especially due to his expansion, there. Many shops and restaurants cane and went including Nados chicken of Malaysia, sporting goods shops; cafes; Challenger.. So fat the two: UOB wealth management and market place is still there.. I would not be particularly excited to buy a property or rent a shop in such an area.- The Yin & Yang of Kovan Residences and Nim Collection
The Simon Road market was once located at Kovan Residences. Did you see the market where now Kovan Residences stood today:- In Feng Shui, it is less auspicious to stay in a location of former slaughter of animals.. Map of year 2007:-- Former Geylang Fire Station
Today’s 2018 map of the area. Notice all the minor roads have been merged. And the new under construction Paya Lebar Quarter will be ready in no time.- Former Geylang Fire Station
Former Geylang Fire Station closes it’s doors in the early 2000’s. Where once these doors opened to allow fire trucks to speed to their scene; the frontage is sunken and now occupied by a five foot walk-way with railings... 1960’s map of Singapore Shopping the location of the former Geylang Fire Station. Roads like Lorong Engku Aman was flatten. And now sits the Paya Lebar Quarter. While the MRT station and Paya Lebar Square is upstream. Only Jalan Afridi is still around where the Certis Cisco HQ stands. The Wak Tanjong Mosque is still there. Part of it is undergoing renovations and repair works.
