bazi of year and of birthDAY
These are some considerations: 1. Generally an authentic Ba Zi chart in the past consists of Eight pillars. Please see attachment where there are a total of 8 pillars consisting of : 1.1. Year, Month, Day, Hour, House of Life and House of Conception 2. Please note that not only is the Year and Day are important; in a true Ba Zi analysis: in the attachment, each Heavenly Stem (HS) has to interact with each Earthly Branch (EB): 2.1. For example: the relationship is shown in the RED "web" in the attachment. 3. In the past, traditionally, a proper chart such as above that has all the "pillars" could take as much as a few weeks to work out to examine the "harms, punishments, clashes etc..." 3.1. Nowadays, in modern times; if programmed properly; a computer will be able to do all the groundwork and leave us with quality time to analyse the results. 3.2. In addition the House of Life is equally important as it can determine whether one is a "weak" or "strong" element.... 4. Further to what I mentioned: although one can use the same term: "Four Pillars or Ba Zi" but some are just too basic while few would bother to do a ba zi with additional fields : House of Life and House of Conception. 4.1. In a full chart: it is like analysing 6 variables under Heavenly Stem YYYY / MM / DD / HH / Life / Conception with another 6 variables under Earthly Branch. 5. In order to find out the impact if any of not only the day and year clash; you have to do your "homework" and work out a ba zi report. It is not so simple as posting a few lines of text.... and presto... the next login... the answers will appear..... someone has to work out the ba zi report.. first.. before... analysing it.. - this is the fact.

HDB Parkland Residences @ Upper Serangoon (DBSS)
Confirming the Flying Star direction. By confirming that the compass direction of the sales brochure falls within the same "tolerance" i.e. SW3 232.4 degrees to 247.4 degrees. The sales brochure shows 237 degrees. While the onemap.sg shows 234 degrees. And both these two findings fall within SW3 Flying Star direction. Thus it is always good to counter-check such information and futher confirmation with the actual on-site readings.

HDB Parkland Residences @ Upper Serangoon (DBSS)
Not exactly a "million dollar" view.. but at least; a welcoming change from many other developments where the frontage is merely a neighbouring block's stacks/units "staring at you". A peaceful and tranquil calm....

HDB Parkland Residences @ Upper Serangoon (DBSS)
In the past, especially during the 1980's to 1990's; whenever HDB flats face "west"; automatically; the architects would add shades to windows facing the afternoon sun. But often after 1990's fewer and fewer developments add such "fine" touches. I am glad that the architects of this DBSS Parkland Residences have continued with such past traditions. And for the owners; I believe; this adds a vast difference towards the effects of the afternoon sun.

HDB Parkland Residences @ Upper Serangoon (DBSS)
The location of a HDB development's pavilion should be a concern whenchoosing a flat. As a Pavilion mayon ocassions have funeral wakes& funeral rituals (noise). In some HDB sites; their pavilion is centrally located and surrounded by the various blocks. This may not be exactly a good thing as virtually many frontages even as high as 5th storey could directly look into the pavilion. And in the event of a funeral; the funeral tent; sitting area, portable toilet etc.. can be seen. And when rituals are performed; the sound can travel to some of the nearby stacks/unitss

The Minton condo & Achtung (Attention) it's inaccurate Sales Brochure Site map
Nowadays, there are lots of new condos where the site is like a "fort". Here, many of these new developments have blocks/stacks that seems to "wrap" or "trap" the water feature in the middle of the site. And does not allow maximum air movement within the water positions and the external. There are some gaps, but this makes it harder for the evaporated "dirty" water to flow out of the site. And so after, if one's unit is low e.g. ground level or 2nd storey; and if none of the neighbour opens their windows; a high concentration of evaporated dirty pool water may filter into the home. What I like about the site plan of Ripple Bay is that although the blocks are arranged roughly in three generously spaced parallel blocks; they are far apart. And easily allow air-flow (qi) to refresh the estate. Contrast this with the Watercolours EC (in the same area) where the blocks are so close and enclosing the pool side.

Ba Zi Feng Shui
In modern day, a geomancer should apply:- 1. Compass School Feng Shui: Eight House & Flying Stars 2. And also consider Ba Zi Feng Shui. 3. Please see attachments for a better understanding of what is "Ba Zi Feng Shui" and also how is Ba Zi Feng Shui applied together with Compass School Feng Shui to produce a Feng Shui Audit Report for a home

Another building using the semi-circular steps
The semi-circular steps radiating outwards is nowadays a rare-sight. Most likely one of the reasons is that these steps are not that friendly especially to the elderly and may in fact be dangerous as they could easily trip on them

HDB Costa Ris & 'white noise' from MRT trains
Contrary to the design of the blocks within the new HDB estate of Costa Ris; Lakeholmz & Caspian Condos are equally close to the MRT tracks. Both Lakeholmz & Caspian condos; since their "rectangular" site length wise is the longest parallel to the tracks; these two developments decided to "sacrifice" a chunk of stacks that are NW facing to try and absorb the majority or the maximum noise for the development. Of course, one can still hear mrt train noise from blocks 50 and 52 of Caspian. But already quite muted... I still prefer this "some sacrificial lambs" instead of nearly everyone got "punished" by it. For other plots of land like Tropical Springs in Simei; their plot of land are luckier as the instead of the length-wise is parallel to the MRT tracks; their small dimension width is instead, parallel to the tracks. And especially for this development; they placed their high-rise multi-storey car parks closest to the MRT tracks. Only 4 stacks are the closet to the mrt tracks. While the rest of the horse-shoe shaped stacks are furthest away from it. Thus, this is a well-though-out minimum sacrificial "site" as compared to the "slaughter of the lambs of the HDB Costa Ris site.

HDB Costa Ris & 'white noise' from MRT trains
Singapore and it's 6.9M and recently... a possibility of a population of 10M. Uniquely in Singapore:- My one "normal" or regular photo that was not taken under paranomic view was able to squeeze in four separate developments!Coco Palms, Costa Ris, Dnest & The Palette Just the other day, a client asked me; as they were staying in Pasir Ris on which are the better developments in Pasir Ris to buy... I said, NO! As Pasir Ris to me is one long road i.e. Pasir Ris Drive 1 and it's drainage (road network) is unlike it's neighbour Tampines which has so many roads that can get in and out of it. Today, this Pasir Ris, is like Punggol but it's internal organs all messed up.....Once a tranquil area is going to be packed like sardines in 2016 and 2017....

Is having my cremated pet(dog) at home ok?
These are some considerations: 1. Cremation is neutral i.e. "ashes to ashes". 2. Therefore, there is no major issue in it's placement. 3. Under Vastu Principles (Indian concept of Feng Shui); best not to place their puja (altar room / table) aligned NE to SW and vice versa. 4. Under Feng Shui principles; Para 3 (coincidentally) applies. As NE and SW are suppose to be portals i.e. one for the "spiritual or some say devil's - main door" and the other " their backdoor". Otherwise, other sectors ain't that bad. 5. Para 4 and 5 applies to an altar and any objects figurines placed at these NE / SW sectors and vice versa. 6. Maybe the Egyptians place their cat near-by to their tomb... But... seldom one place their dog-gone dog at one's human "altar" area. Generally, some who are highly conservative may frown upon this. But, if you are OK; with it... then.....as I mentioned, cremation is considered neutral unlike a mummyfied dog...

HDB Costa Ris & 'white noise' from MRT trains
On one side, it is sandwiched by the busy link road: Pasir Ris Drive 8 and on the other boundary is the noisy MRT track. Which do you prefer: The devil or the deep blue sea... for many .. phew! None! Skip this development, totally... HDB Costa Ris layout of the blocks in the estate; allows more mrt train noise to "affect" more stacks/flats then otherwise in some other developments.

HDB Costa Ris & 'white noise' from MRT trains
"White noise" and Costa Ris HDB flats... In my opinion, I find the way the Blocks of flats that were "laid" out in this development may contribute to having more stacks/flats in this unit - experiencing louder than usual "white noise" from the daily MRT trains passing through. Maybe, the architect believes in the concept of "shared-responsibility for the noise".It is a pity that there is only ONE MSCP car park i.e. Block 526 to shield the estate from MRT train noise.Too bad and what a pity, this is the only car park. But not enough to shield the entire estate from the mrt train noise. In many other developments; especially the new condo developments near to Lakeside MRT such as the Caspian and Lakeholmz condo; the blocks are lined-up such that only the NW facing flats "enjoy" the loudest noise i.e. closest and parallel to the MRT track. Even the newer Lakefront residences also share this same concept. One notable difference between Caspian, Lakeholmz and Lakefront residences are that these are "private" condos. And perhaps: "YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET". While maybe, HDB Costa Ris is pehaps a public housing? And this is why? the mrt train noise should be shared "equally" amongst as many stacks/flats as possible? Hmmm... What can I do if I stay there? Really no choice! Have to get used to it. At least the good news or consolation is that it should stop after 12pm on normal days other than weekends or a holiday.

[5.] Chinese Altar: Auspicious Chinese Altar Dimensions
These are some considerations: 1. In your first posting, I understand that you are already aware that the altar "MUST" have both "reds" in the Feng Shui ruler. If so, then this is good. 2. Please see attached:- 2.1. All the FOUR ranges in RED; must have both in RED. 2.1.1. Including the ancestor tablet table top which is slightly lower : this should also fall under both = in red. 2.2. The rest of the other two ranges in Yellow is considered NICE to be in both RED. but if really can't then not as important as Para 1.
