In my opinion, like any other fields; a parallel is in medicine; the term "Triage" is very important. In Feng Shui also, holitistic Feng Shui is also about applying both Shapes and Forms and Compass School Feng Shui. The most important key term is: the Forms (Shapes and forms) determine the Stars and the Stars determine the fate of the people living in that home. If you are able to correctly fix "leaks" in the home or even know where to enhance qi; then this is the best senario. If you are able to DIY correctly; often crucial leaks can be many forms. Under Flying Stars; in your case, a high success factor is to zoom in and especially try to neutralise #3. Maybe it is prevalent at the frontage (at this point, your guess is as good as any one's else.) What ever it is never be tempted to go the "easy" way of being conned into buying all sorts of useless commericial products in the name of Feng Shui aka bullshit.

1. In my opinion, one can "introduce a full five element flow". 1.1 What this means is that, I had mentioned previously, a good illustration is that of a water feature such as a water position. 1.2 Under the url: http://fountain.geomancy.net Para 2.1 to 2.12; there is an example of how best to activate all the Five elements. 2. In general, without looking at the Flying Star chart, if one feels nice-to or like-to have a water position at the FRONTAGE of the home; 2.1 Generally, even if we do not consider the flying star numbers at this frontage; many geomancers will still tell you that it is often "no harm" in majority of cases to place a water position, there? 2.2 Why? 2.3 The key factor has more to do with Yin and Yang concept (which is considered as the higher food chain). Like the earlier example, if one is too concerned with a #5 yellow or many #5 yellows in a sector; then introduce a five element flow with: Metal , Water, Wood, Fire and Earth elements. 3.1. So far, the thing that can meet all the above Para 3 is a water position. Thus, this is why, the first thing everyone thinks about activating a wealth position is or could be associated with such things as a water position. 3.2 Of course, Geomancers would often caution: water position at the wrong location is not good. 3.3 Thus, what I try to mention is that in all probability; with a water position; there may/can be more YES or OK's then Oops sort of thing. 4. In many other forum messages, I mentioned that sometimes; we were told to avoid: say YELLOW because of #5 yellow at that sector or avoid Green because of the #3 quarrels conflict star(s) at that sector. 5. For example, if it is a bedroom, the best example is a child's bedroom. Many children's toys or even bed-sheets and curtains with cartoon characters have all the major primary colours: BLUE, RED and GREEN. (Some consider YELLOW). 5.1. So long as there are all these five elements; it is one way of having a flow. 6. In your question; thus the most sensible thing that if one wants to use the positive side of the FIVE or High Five! then in most high likelyhood; I strongly believe a water position such as a water feature is the best candidate for the job. 6.1. For landscaping; there are instances where one may even activate the positive #5 with a "rock formation" or rather a pool of water with rocks something like a mars landscape and water on this rock formation or very popular is a "mountain feature - can even be made of fibreglass but looks like a rock formation and the water feature spouts out from it like a waterfall. Even under the Five Elements concept: we have the productive cycle; we also have what is known as the "destructive" cycle. Thus the word "destructive" in the same way as what you mentioned; can go BOTH ways. 8. What I mentioned is a tip of the ice-berg. And there is again no right or wrong answers in this type of Art (and science) of Feng Shui. 9. Blocks 1 and 3 are sloping towards each other. In this attachment, I have added some rough sketches of Blocks 1 and 3; with stacks highest furthest away between blocks 1 and 3. As the stacks get closer, they get lower and lower.... The next time, if one passed by East Coast Park Highway or ECP; take a glimpse of Mandarin Gardens; these two blocks are nearest to the sea/ and the Highway... Again, the stacks are similar to Under construction Mi Casa; but different with Nicol Highway. Here, all the stacks are facing into the development e.g. pool, garden etc... Under Symbolism, please see attachment, the sloped terrace of the apartments literally slope towards Nicol Highway and towards the sea. 2.2. As mentioned, previously; house number "tool" does not apply to ground level homes. If you are D.I.Y. then you may to understand and apply other Feng Shui tools. For information, each individual's detailed ba zi chart should have : DD MM YY HH and House of Life and House of Conception. House of Conception is used to analyse both husband and spouse chart for "compatibility". In addition: House of Conception - This represents your spouse for a male, and your child for a female. Thus such information is catered in an individual's ba zi chart. Sometimes, there may be situations where both husband and wife's House of Conception clash making it hard or harder to conceive. Therefore, this information is not plucked from the air ... but can be found under an individual's ba zi report.

In my opinion, there are three major factors: 1. Heaven Luck - bazi with indications of House of Conception: for both the male and female. 2. Earth Luck or Feng Shui. 3. Other factors: such as medical issues if any. Geomancy can look into Para 1 and Para 2. Thus, frankly, if you are trying to reduce the incidence coming especially from Earth Luck or Feng Shui say of your home; then you may have to consider getting a geomancer to look at your home or apartment. As there is such a thing as a triage: Feng Shui Triage Even if one were to visit an A & E clinic; there will always be someone to screen what is wrong with the person. Unfortunately, advices cannot fall out from the sky; just like that. Nor good chi can simply drop down from the sky, also. If you are looking at Para 1 or 2, above; some one must look into such things. Otherwise, frankly, might as well throw a dice sort of thing.

In my opinion, I believe that the flamingo is a cousin (or distant cousin) of the stock. For the Chinese, the stock signifies longevity.

These are some considerations: 1. From a symbolism point of view; many geomancers would often say that it is considered inauspicious to have "broken glass". 2. A few years ago, a client of mine nearly wanted to install a creative piece of two pieces of acrylic with broken glass sandwiched in-between. But, as a Chinese, on her own, she felt uncomfortable having such a piece in her home. 3. Under symbolism and a belief or conception, thus, it is considered inauspicious. 4. From a common sense approach, some again feel unease if broken glass is lying around.. for both humans especially children and pets like dogs who might just swallow them... Thus if you were to I believe check around, there will be different practises throughout even Flying Stars interpretation. But be ware those with huge egos who always say that "only my method is the best"...

These are futher considerations: 1. I shall not go into or drawn intothe nitty gritty of your specific sectors. 2. What I like to highlight is that Flying Star is based on time dimension. 3. For practical reasons, if we consult a geomancer, often the Geomancer would plot the 20 year flying star and also if the Feng Shui audit is in that year, also check the annual Flying Star when considering a cure. 4. As mentioned, most people don't consult a geomancer annually. Thus, again for practical reasons, the geomancer would try to balance the home Feng Shui sectors using the 20 Year mainly the two variables Mountain# and Water#. 5. Of course, if one is not Feng Shui and can even DIY yearly, then in THEORY, many Geomancers would consider the YEAR or ANNUAL star with importance. Thus, for that year, if the #8 e.g. 2012 is located in the West sector and if this happens to be the living room balcony area; the recommendation may be to activate a water position, there.
