  1. I moved into a new apartment about 6 months ago. Recently, a couple has occupied the unit next to mine. Their bedroom is right next to mine and the walls are thin, so I hear the noise from their TV, their talking and their laughing. Last week, I asked them to keep their TV volume down, especially at night, since they seem to stay up until very late. They were nice and receptive, but the noise still bothers me. I don't think it is their fault -it's the nature of the building and the thin walls. I am a very quiet and pensive person, and this couple seems to be loud and extroverted. What can I do about this noise? Would you have any ideas or suggestions? Ear plugs are not enough! Any ideas or suggestions, please?
  2. I have read that you should always keep the toilet lid closed -especially when you flush it. It may also be good to put a plant at some point between your bed and the the toilet and to try to keep the bathroom door closed as much as possible. I hope this helps. Good luck with the coming of your new baby!
