Thank you for the advice. The Flying Star shows that the main door is #5 misfortune. All of my other flowers are healthy, only the yellow crysanthemums by the front door died, so it does make sense that they didn't belong there. I'll try the 6 coins you mentioned.

In the past week my family has had one disaster after another: 2 appliances broke down, an antique table was knocked over and broke, a camera was dropped and broken, and today our vehicle (that we've owned all of 2 weeks) is in the shop with transmission problems. There's also a lot more disagreements and stress in our family without any apparent cause. I find myself wondering what will go wrong tomorrow and fearing that it may get worse. The main door of our house is in the 'disaster' sector (SE) for both me and my husband, but we've lived in this house for over 10 years and never had a streak of bad luck like the past week. The only thing I can think of is that 2 months ago I placed yellow crysanthemums in brass pots on each side of the front door. I'm not good with plants, and they ended up dying. Today I got rid of them but I was wondering if that could possibly contribute to all our recent bad luck?
