Since I shifted to my new resale flat 2 years ago,my lovelife, my career and my financial status has been dwindling away. I just realized 1 thing, my main door is facing directly at a rubbish chute and a staircase at the opposite flat that I am staying. What should I do?

I am in the midst of doing a home audit on feng shui. Should I :
1. 1st find out my own 4 good and 4 bad locations, make adjustments to my house
layout, then calculate those for my other family members ?
2. Should I calculate the 4 good and 4 bad locations for family as well before any
adjustments to layout? If this is the case, what if a particular location is good for my but bad for my family, what should I do ?
3. I have also learnt that I should place electrical appliances on lines of bad
locations, but what if that line happen to be a good location for my family, especially
if it is in the kitchen ?
Please enlighten me. Thank you !

I've attached my house layout for your review. I've drawn the various angles and divided the layout into 9 equal sections. I
realised that my excellent location is situatedat my bath room. Can I still use the
bath room ? Will just bathing and brushing be ok ?
Room 2 is located in disaster and death points. What do I do ?
My kitchen is found at the health section, is it good ?

I am reading a book on feng shui by Lillian Too. Mentioned in the book, it discusses on the 8 location theory and east?west house theory. However, it takes the back door as a guide over the front door. Why is this so ?
Personally, I believe the front door should be the more accurate one because this is the entrance that we go in and out of the house the most times. Please advise.

I've got 2 queries :
1. My house faces the West (according to main entrance) and I have a water fountain
situated on the left-hand corner of the house. I understand that the bext location
would be at South-East, but it is away from the entrance. I've read a feng shui article
that says fountains are best located near an entrance. What should I do ?
2. My girlfriend is Strong Fire element and I, Weak Water element. Maybe that's way we
always quarel at least once a week over trivial matters. How do I counteract

Hi Cecil,
I've always been confused with the way the compass should be pointed at before I place an item.
I assume that if I want to see the direction of my main door,I get a compass and face it outwards, while standing at the main door. But what about for items, like a fountain ? I've a fountain at home and would like to confirm if the direction is alright. It is a fountain with a "1 quarter" shape, i.e. 2 ends having straight ends and the front is circular. At the moment, the fountain is placed at a corner of my house, in the main hall. How do I point the direction of the compass ? Facing it ? Or facing outwards against the main hall?
Please advise. Thank you !
