  1. Dear Cecil, Please help us....My husband and I cannot seem to save any money although we do not spend much, we just have bills piling up all the time. He does however, make unwise decisions when it comes to investing our money in things. We get into arguements all the time. He doesn't seem to get along too well with our 3-year-old son either. We've been living in our basement apartment for a little over two years now. Could living in a basement be the reason why things are going so badly? It might be the layout of our bed but I would like your input on it. My husband's birth date is Jan. 16, 1976, my birth date is Dec. 21, 1975, and son is Nov. 23, 1999. We are all born the year of the rabbit. Attached is a quick drawing of our basement apartment. Thank you so much in advance for you input.
  2. Dear Cecil, Enclosed is a drawing of my basement apartment. There's two doors leading to the apartment. The second door is what I would consider the front door but it's not outside of the house. I want to place the ba gua on the front door but you've mentioned in the advice column to not place a ba gua in the inside of the house/place. Should I place the ba gua on the first door which leads to the exterior of the house or the second door which is indoor and leads to the basement apartment? Thanks for your ongoing help~

hello, I'm just wondering would a load bearing wall in the basement be the same as a beam or is it also unfavourable just like the beam? Thanks for your answer in advance.
  4. I live in a basement apartment and have two entrance door. The one going outside is facing the east and down the stairs is the the one going inside which is facing north. Which one do I use as my "front door" for feng shui? I also have ventilations on the ceilings of the bedroom and living room. Is that a good or bad thing? What can I do to make or insure good chi or use feng shui in this matter?
