My sister and I are starting a new business in telecommunications, our personal birth Ba Zi differs, her birth element is weak metal, kua typeis earth , 2 - Kun and my birth element is strong wood, kua type is earth, 8 - Gen. What do you think is a good business name that will bring good luck and good fortune to our business?

1. In Singapore, if you are considering an English name; then there is no traditional precedence with Ba Zi. Furthermore, if it is an English name, many names would have been found in the Company Business Registry.

2. Only business name in Chinese may be selected. But, usually in simplicity unlike an individual's name; it is selected based more on phonetic sounding / auspicious sound like or auspicious reference or prosperity connotation. Or even by numerology. This type of advice is usually not free i.e. paid advice.

3.1 Also, in my earlier reply thread, I mentioned that there is no precedence say in an English speaking country to select a Chinese business name, as one will still utimately be using the registered name in English.

3.2 Thus if your company is say " Far East Containers "; and you are not using the "chosen" Mandarin name, then the Chinese business name may be irrelevant.

3.3 Unless, you select a Chinese business name and use mandarin be it Traditional or Big 5 characters or even Pin Yin. Thus if the name is " Fu Lu Shou ". And if your business is non-Chinese, then it is not a good "brand name to use"
