Posted August 25, 200817 yr Appended by Cecil: No attachments, found. Hi Master Lee, I am trying to figure out the centerpoint/s of my house that has 2 levels (I didn't include the garage). My house has an L-shape (please see figure). If you don't mind, could you please kindly check if I am doing it right. Or should I just have 1 centerpoint only? Main door is facing east. Thank you!

The rationale for the centrepoint as shown in the attachment is that the home is nto particularly huge to warrant drawing two separate rectangles and later to use the template for Flying star and eight house purpose. 3. The best way to look at it is to consider the outline of the 2nd storey layout plan to determine the centrepoint of the home. Since this layout plan has less indentations and protrusions. 4. In your sketch, I believe the ground floor and 2nd storey should have the same outline. As in your sketch, the 2nd storey profile is slightly different size / proportion than the ground floor. Thus whichever it is, make sure that the sketch are exactly proportionate to further fine tune the centrepoint of the home. In addition, the ground floor garage, in your specific case becomes a 'neutral' area since it is not a missing corner as it is actually boxed up with walls ... P.S. As mentioned above, because your home is not big, it may not be practical to draw two rectangles. And then analyse each of the two rectangles. It can still be done - but not advisable, here.
