Posted September 6, 200817 yr Staff Please see attachment. Usually the main concern is to find the centrepoint of the home. Once this is found it is easier to draw a pie-chart from this centrepoint. To chart out a proper 9-grid. It is still easier to outline a pie-chart. And from there, draw a 9-grid. Many Feng Shui professionals use the pie-chart - more although the 9-grid is easier to visualise especially for the lay person.
Posted September 8, 200817 yr I ALSO READ IN ANOTHER BOOK THAT YOU SHOULD PUT THE BAGUA FACE DOWN SO THE SQUARES OF THE LOVE &MARRIAGE, CREATIVITY&CHILDREN, AND HELPFUL PEOPLE&TRAVEL WOULD BE ON YOUR LEFT SIDE OF YOUR HOUSE INSTEAD OF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE HOUSE WHEN BUGUA IS FACE UP. WHICH WAY IS CORRECT.I ALSO WAS READING FENG SHUI MADE EASY BY WILLIAM SPEAR AND IT SAYS IN THERE FOR ODD SHAPED HOUSES, USE THE PIE AND IT SAYS TO ALIGN THE BAGUA, PLACE THE FRONT DOOR DOWN AT THE BOTTOM OF PAGE AND LAY IT OVER THE MAGIC SQUARE. Posted September 9, 200817 yr Hi there, i apolize for shouting at you, i didn't know. In your reply, about option 2 and option1, the garage or bedroom, that is the kids livingroom. I have 3 living areas, and 4 bedrooms.The front door area, is marked front, and the back door is marked back. But, i have a negative area outside the house, which would make up the rectangle that my house would have been. This area is the Helpful people area. I have read in the book to put a spotlight or some kind of light in that area, so the light is aimed back at the house to illuminate and bring energy to the area. Is this the correct thing to do, and i am also in the process of planting 2 Foxtail fern palm trees, halfway through this negative area, on on each side of my sidewalk, a foot away from 2 round column. Is this a good idea also, or would this be bad. Is there anything else i can do in this negative oudoor area, that would be good.I also have a fountain outside my front door, in that negative helpful people area, it iswith one of those silver balls that you can see yourself in, on top of the fountain, is this okay. I have heard that it would bring wealth, if it is outside the front door, or should i have one outside, and one just inside the front door area. My house is not to large, it is approx. 2300 square feet.I appreciate your imput on this, and i thankyou very much in advance.Sharon
