hi,,

i need help.. i am renovating our store's 2nd floor area, converting it to my room/resting area. i had a bathroom installed, however, i think i made a mistake. i diverted the bathroom/toilet door so that the toilet door in not in seen from the bedroom, however, the entry leading to the bathroom door is the right side of the bed?

what is the remedy, ? can i have a closet door installed in the entry(opening)to concealing it, to make it look like a walk-in closet? beside my beside. the space is very small, so putting a divider or screen isnt feasible.

1. Even in Singapore, it is very common for bedrooms to have an attached toilet.

2. Commonsense approach to Feng Shui:-

2.1 Toilets are considered "dirty" especially each time we flush the toilet bowl, the "air" and "water pressure" shoots out fine mists or droplets all over the entire toilet area. And if there are openings, these will "flow" further.

2.2 However, one day, I was driving along the highway, and this radio feature, had this person, selling some disinfection tablets to regularly sterile the toothbrush much like those denture cleaning tablets. He said that anywhere we place the toothbrush in the toilet, there will sure to be some form of "germs".

2.3 I was "shocked" because: many or all of us from young had never sterlised our toothbrush, or other utensils such as glass for mouth wash etc...

2.4 Thus, the conclusion, here that most of healthy adults do have certain residence to general germs. And is no major cause for concern -- in this area.

3. Given a small room, more doors, may not be practical. In my opinion, just leave it will do.

thank you for replying to my question. i deeply appreciate it.

if you can assist me a little more.

i am thinking of extending the bathroom to a walk-in closet or Dressing room, so that when you walk-out of the bathroom, it is the closet of clothes that you will be in..

however, this would mean that the back wall of the closet would be the wallof mybed's headboard. and the door going to the walk-in closet would be in the same wall as my bed's headboard.

will this be helpful or worse?

in summary:

Plan 1: to install a closet door on the entry way to cover the bathroom door, to make it look like a closet instead of an opening.

Plan 2: as you walk-out the bathroom, it extends to a closet room or dressing area. but the door going out to the bedroom would be on the same wall as the headboard of the bed.

please help... thank you very much.
