Hi,I was told growing up I think my father or m sister always said you need to have the rising suns rays hit your front door for prosperity.Well My husband and I just purchased a house (forclosure) It's main door is directly north center of the face of the house directly north for both my husband and I it places spook directly on front door.
What can I do?

1. In my opinion, what you had mentioned has more to do with symbolism of say the morning sun rays hitting the front door. Often, this would mean that most likely if the main door is facing the frontage, then this house may be affected by both morning and afternoon sunlight.

2. At the equator, or close to the equator, most of us prefer a North to South aligned house. As this would mean no direct morning nor afternoon sunlight rays. As such a North-South home will only get radiated light and not hot sunlight. An Easterly and Westerly direction home: especially west direction would get the most afternoon sun.

3. Nowadays, the concern is the ozone layer and uv light. Too much UV light shining towards an East and West home is not favourable for two reasons:-

3.1. Most of the time adults go to work and if this bedroom (directly facing west) is our children's bedroom, too much uv light and heat is unfavourable. Too much uv light may cause cancer of the skin.

3.2. And if it is a brickwall, such walls often soak in heat in the afternoon and this heat slowly ooze out in the evening often making the bedroom or (living room) unbearable. Turning on a fan is no use, here. Only air-con. But can everyone afford turning on air-con daily?

Frankly, I cannot comprehen what you mentioned above about this directly north center? Anyway, it does not matter, here.

If you are referring to the Eight House concept and the front door, please note that there is a limitation to the eight house concept: Here, one either sit in a good sector or face one's good sector. If cannot be done, then even if one bangs one's head against a wall, or stand in-middle of the highway...there is nothing one can do nor squeeze out more from this concept or theory!

In many past messages, I mentioned that you may have to maximize your "luck" from other avenues! Your home is like a car! If your home is like a mini-cooper; but if one has a family of 8, then, no matter how one squeezes themselves into this 4 door saloon car, one cannot do so! One has to look elsewher to see if one can improve other sectors (or factors)
