can one paint the L-box in this way? (see attached)

is it considered bad fengshui?

In my opinion, the blue colour or stripes is a non-issue. What we are concerned is the blue colour on or onto the ceiling not the sides of the ceiling wall.

Thus, the picture shown is acceptable.

We are more concerned with painting the entire ceiling blue. As in the I-ching, blue represents difficult.

This attached picture is than considered inauspicious.

On a related matter, how about a blue roof? I've been thinking about blue ceramic tiled roof on a white house. Is a blue roof inauspicious?

In a very recent forum reply, I mentioned:-

1. Acceptable to have blue roofing with white external walls. (or OK)

2. Grey roofing should also go with white external walls. (or OK)

3. Clay or orange coloured roofing can go with just any colour. This goes with maroon roofing.
