HI

I have a query.

Heard that in Fengshui if we get a unit (condo/flat) that has no other units below (eg. 3rd floor unit, and level 1 and 2 is empty space due to the design), the fengshui is No Good.

It it true? Why?

Any remedy?

1. Frankly, this cannot apply to every single home that has an empty space below it.

2. For example, if so, how about the thousands of Housing Board Flats (government HDB flats) that are scattered all over the island? Does it mean that every single owners of HDB, HUDC flats at 2nd storey will get into "deep shit?"

2.1 If we were to walk around all over Singapore, many have stayed, and are still staying at the 2nd storey flats. I don't see specifically lots of empty flats immediately above VOID decks do you?

3. It has more to do with location, location and location.

4. When the Ritz CaltonHotel was built, they seeked advice from a Feng Shui Master and the Master recommended that the hotel be on "stilts" or legs with empty space below it. The reason the master quoted was thatthis would prevent bad spirits from "coming" in to the hotel.

5. I have audited many cases and some of the owners haveupgraded to either a freehold or landed property.

6. Commonsense approach to Feng Shui

Someapartments have a shelteredcar park immediately within the void deck area. And in the unlikely event that the 'car burst' into flames... -because of this, some say it is bad to have a car parked directly below say a bedroom.

7. Thus, what you had mentioned is not true to all or most homes and it depends!
