Posted May 28, 200916 yr Staff These are some of the considerations:- 1. Generally from a Shapes and Form Feng Shui point of view, no major issue. 2. Since it is rectangular and not square, most of the time, the edges runs parallel to the ceiling. If it is a squarish design, then avoid the "diamond shaped" figure - please see attachment. 3. As mentioned under Para 1, strictly from a Feng Shui point, no issue. However, human factors can come into play. For example, it takes a relative, parents or even close friends to utter a comment - which may make such of us feel uneasy. Comments such as it "looks" like a beam drooping down etc... 4. Overall, there is no major impact on a strictly Feng Shui perspective.
