However, from a scientific Feng Shui point of view:-

1. So long as one is able to have the drainage from the property outwards towards the drainage, one can make it an auspicious home.

2. For example, for every landed property, there is such thing as drainage exit from the landed property outwards, as shown in the sample below:-

Facing Direction: N3 and NE1
Default Water Direction: Depends on Layout





1st Exit Point (Wealth)



• Between 307.5 to 337.4 Degree
  
• Water Flow Direction: Right to Left






2nd Exit Point (Wealth)



• Between 37.5 to 67.4 Degree
  
• Water Flow Direction: Left to Right

NOTE: Water Flow direction is taken from inside your house looking out towards the main door/frontage.

3. Thus even if currently the drainage from a Shapes and Forms point of view seems to - in my opinion, not as auspicious because water flow is away from the home from both "sides"; but if one is able to tap the internal drainage of the property e.g. from left of right between 37.5 to 67.4 degrees etc..

4. For those who are building a new home from scratch can greatly benefit from good Feng Shui consultation advice as it can make or break the wealth of the owners of the home. Thus if the flow seems not correct, can make an internal correction.

5. However, if the external drainage is all covered up (cannot be seen) then this is a neutral position.
