Presently theTHREE most common things that Geomancers mislead the consumers are:-

ONE: 1. Bogus Education Qualifications

The tell tale sign is when the Geomancer says that he is a Doctor or have a PHD. And in many instances dare not show which University or place a link to the university.

In many instances, the Geomancer has purchased a bogus degree, Doctorate or PHD from a bogus unrecognised place.

A good practice is to put a hyper-link to their Higher Education (HE)institute. Usually, such hyperlinks will be checked sometime by the HE or people interested in the person.

TWO: 2. Unsubstantiated Claims that clients WON "BIG" in a lottery

Every few months the practitioner would attract the gullible with claims that their client has won large sums from the lottery.

In this instance, the Geomancer will continue to brag about so many of their clients getting fithly rich. But you will never see anyone coming forward to substantiate their claims.

The characteristics of such a Geomancer is that they will never fail to brag about their success(ess) in every single of their write-up! And always also brag about how many people are participating in their wonderful blog / forum!

Morale of the story: Can CON a child, but, some adults still got CONNED by these people. TheseGeomancers try to tap on ourinert desire of" Greed, Begets Greed!"

THREE: 3. The Geomancer will give advice and then most of the time; recommend a product. And when asked: "Where do I get the item?"

The Geomancer will happily say: "Come to my shop, I have it!". As a result, many are CONNED into buying thousands of dollars of useless commercial products.

My advice: Avoid these people like the plague!

FOUR: 4. Scare Tactics

Clue: "Many of the so called Feng Shui products were produced not too long ago. And many of them are modern commercial products sold under the guise of Feng Shui."
Remember that your parents and grand-parents time don't have such products like the three-legged toad, crystals and many other useless products...
When the buying, stops. The selling, can!

He tells my client that the compass direction should be East. While actually the compass direction is NE...

Client: "I was confuse by him. He even said will charge me cheaper if I use him to do fengshui"

P.S. This is captured for educational purposes. Please note that for privacy personal particulars are masked out in pink.Tricks of a con man renovation contractor.gif

Case Study: Uncomfortable with Feng Shui Master’s advice. Told to buy several of his commercial products. Seek an independent audit

As Geomancy.net has a reputation of doing strictly scientific Feng Shui; was approached to do an independent audit.

Case Study: Still want to consult a Feng Shui Master associated with a Feng Shui Store?

1. Many Feng Shui Masters (who own such stores) are only interested in selling all sorts of products giving shady advice in the name of Feng Shui.

2. All these Feng Shui Stores and their related Masters really only care is to sell, sell, sell.. LOL

On 14.3.2020... here goes...
